Today is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Liam is going into his last year of middle school an 8th grader, Hudson is going into his last year of elementary school as a 5th grader, Sophia is a 3rd grader, Isabella is a 1st grader, Sawyer is a kindergartner and Amelia is a preschooler!

Mitch, Scott, Nel, Connie, Rick and Mike have all been up bright and early this morning getting everything ready for the big day today!

Nel has been checking and packing all of the kids book bags with their last minute school supplies and school lunches while Connie is currently making French toast sticks for breakfast for everyone!

Mike and Rick are both cleaning up dog poop and cleaning out the cats' litter box while Mitch is relaxing on the couch with Joel with Scott close by, just in case Mitch needs help getting up or needs anything.

Mitch and Scott are just so so thankful to have their parents help them out with the kids for the next few weeks while Mitch recovers from his c-section!

Mitch is really starting to feel better after his c-section and he is finally able to walk around the house more and finally is able to go up and down the steps.

Mitch just finished feeding Joel his morning bottle and he just burped Joel.

"Hi, baby boy. Are you excited to get all of the attention today? Yeah!" Mitch says in a babyfied voice and Joel coos at Mitch and Scott.

"He has gotten most of the attention from everybody already, babe." Scott says as he chuckles and smiles at Mitch.

"That is very true. But he gets to have a nice and relaxing day with his Papa, his Daddy, Nana, Mom Mom, Grampy and Poppy without hearing his sibling screaming and arguing 24/7." Mitch says as Scott giggles again.

"Joel is very used to it, Mitchy. He heard everything in the womb and nothing phases him now." Scott says as he tenderly kisses Joel's cheek and rubs his head softly.

"That's true. Joel can sleep through anything." Mitch says as he kisses Joel.

"You are getting so big, baby boy. You are ten days old today! Yay!" Mitch says in a babyfied voice to Joel and Scott smiles at Joel.

Scott then looks at his Apple Watch and sees that it is time to start waking up Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia for school!

"We gotta wake the kids up, babe." Scott says to Mitch.

Mitch nods at Scott and places a sleepy Joel in his swing to take his morning nap.

"Hey Mom and Connie, can you two watch Joel while Scott and I go upstairs to get the kids up and ready for school?" Mitch asks Nel and Connie.

"Of course we can, sweetheart! He loves his Nana and Mom Mom! Don't you, Joel? Just like you love this swing!" Connie says to Mitch and then Joel in a babyfied voice. 

"Mitch, we got this! You and Scott need to help the older kids on their special first day! Joel is such a sweetie! He loves his Mom Mom and Nana so so much!" Nel says in a babyfied at Joel.

Scott and Mitch both giggle and smile at their moms before they both go upstairs together!

Mitch and Scott begin to wake up the kids one by one and help them get ready for their first day of school!

Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia are all dressed and are very ready for their first day of school!

Connie, Rick, Mike and Nel all stand by the steps, waiting for Mitch, Scott and the kids to come down the steps.

A few seconds later, Mitch and Scott walk down the steps and they stand next to Connie, Rick, Mike and Nel.

"Okay guys and girls, walk down the steps and show off your first day of school outfits to all of us!" Mitch says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all walk down the steps one by one!

"You guys all look great for the first day of school!" Rick says with a cheeky grin to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"I really love your outfits!" Mike says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia with a big smile.

"Thank you!" Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia say happily to Rick and Mike.

"I want lots of pictures of you guys!" Nel says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia happily.

"I want lots of pictures too, but first let's eat breakfast! I made french toast sticks!" Connie says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"Nana made a big breakfast for all of you and it is very yummy!" Nel says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"YAY!" Amelia screams in excitement.

"I love french toast sticks!" Sawyer says with a big smile.

"Me too!" Isabella and Sophia say in unison happily.

"Nana's french toast sticks are the absolute best!" Hudson says as he gets excited and smiles.

"Nana got to cook breakfast for you all today and tomorrow I will cook breakfast!" Nel says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"Yay!" Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison to Nel.

"I am loving all of the cooking from Nana and Mom Mom." Liam says with a smile.

"I heard that!" Scott says playfully making Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all laugh loudly. 

"Nana and Mom Mom are spoiling all seven of you guys rotten!" Mitch says with a grin Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"Let's take one group picture on the steps and then you guys can eat breakfast!" Scott says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all pose for a few pictures and Scott, Mitch, Nel and Connie all take pictures of the kids together!

Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia then all walk into the dining room and they begin to eat the french toast sticks!

"Thank you, Nana!" Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia say in unison to Connie as they all begin to eat.

"You're welcome, guys! Eat up and enjoy your first day of shopping breakfast!" Connie says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

Mitch, Scott, Connie, Rick, Nel and Mike all sit down with Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia and they all begin to eat together!

"Where is baby Joel?" Isabella asks Mitch and Scott.

"Yeah! Where is baby Joel?" Sophia asks Scott and Mitch.

"He is sleeping in his swing! Daddy just fed him his breakfast bottle!" Scott says to Isabella and Sophia happily.

Joel then begins to fuss in his swing in the living room causing Scott to quickly get up from the dining room table and walks to where Joel is to comfort him.

"Joel go to school too!" Amelia says with a big smile, making everybody awe.

"No, Joel is too little to go to school! When he turns three he will go to school just like you are, Amelia!" Mitch says to Amelia with a grin.

"Oh!" Amelia says as she giggles and smiles at Mitch.

Scott walks back over to the dining room table with Joel in his arms. Joel is wide awake, looking around the dining room and is happily sucking on a blue pacifier.

"Joel wanted to join us at breakfast! I guess he isn't ready for his morning nap." Scott says to everyone happily.

"Aww!" Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison.

"Joel is very alert little baby already!" Rick says to Scott.

"He is! He loves to look around now!" Scott says to his dad.

"Look at those pretty eyes!" Connie says, making both Mitch and Scott smile ear to ear.

"Hi, Joel! Aww, he is looking up at you Scott!" Nel says to Scott.

"He loves his Papa so so much." Mitch says with a big grin.

Joel coos and continues to look around at everyone, making everybody smile and awe.

Nel, Mike, Connie, Rick, Mitch, Scott, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all eat breakfast together!

After breakfast, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all get their book bags on and get ready for school!

"Let's take some pictures with your first day of school boards! Papa and I finally got them written on and done last night while Joel was sleeping!" Mitch says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

"Yay!" Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison happily to Mitch and Scott.

"Ugh, I hate these type pictures. I feel like it is for little kids." Liam says to everyone.

"You will enjoy these pictures when you get older and have kids of your own." Rick says to Liam with a grin.

One by one, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia grab their first day of school boards and they they begin to pose for their first day of school pictures.

"Smile and stand up straight for Nana, Mom Mom and Papa!" Mitch says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia.

Connie, Nel and Scott all take pictures of Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia one by one!

"Awesome pictures! I can't wait to see them all!" Mitch says to Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia happily.

"Okay, Liam. We gotta get going! The bus is going to be here in twenty minutes.

"Okay, Papa." Liam says as he gets his book bag on.

"Bye, Liam! Have a great day!" Connie and Nel day in unison as they both hug Liam.

"Enjoy your last day of middle school!" Rick says to Liam as he hugs him.

"Bye, Liam! Be good and be respectful." Mike says to Liam as he hugs him.

"Have a good day! Text me if you have to take your medicine, okay?" Mitch says to Liam as she hugs and kisses him.

"I will, Dad." Liam says as he hugs Mitch.

"Bye, Liam!" Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia say in unison to Liam.

"Bye, everyone!" Liam says to Nel, Connie, Rick, Mike, Mitch, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel.

"I'll be right back everyone!" Scott says with a cheeky grin.

Scott and Liam walk to the bus stop together while Nel, Mike, Connie, Rick, Mitch, Joel, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia hang out together at the house!

Liam just got picked up by the school bus and he is off to his last year of middle school!

Scott walks back to the house and is greeted by Nel, Connie, Mitch, Joel, Rick and Mike.

"How did it go?" Mike asks Scott.

"Really good! Liam mostly talked with his friends and Liam didn't even wanna hug me before getting on the school bus!" Scott says with a playful frown.

"He is a teenager now! That's what happens!" Connie says playfully to her son.

"Aw, I hope he has a good day at school!" Nel says to Scott and Mitch.

"I am sure he will! He hates the learning part about school but he loves to hang out with kids his age." Mitch says making Connie, Nel, Rick and Mike all chuckle and smile.

"Sounds like a traditional boy that hates school." Rick says with a chuckle.

"I'm glad he is very social and is active in school activities! That will be good for him." Mike says to everyone.

"I agree. Liam loves sports and loves social things!" Scott says with a cheeky grin.

"Huddy! Soph! Issy! Sawyer! Let's get going, you four! You four have to go to the bus stop with Papa!" Mitch says calling for Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer.

"YAY!" Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer all say in unison to Mitch.

Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer all grab their book bags and get ready to go to school!

"Have a great day!" Nel and Connie say in unison to Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer as they both hug Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer one by one.

"Bye guys! Have a fun first day!" Rick says to Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer as he hugs them.

"Have a great day!" Mike says to Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer as he hugs them.

"Bye, Huddy, Soph, Issy and Sawyer! Have a great and fun first day!" Mitch says to Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer as he kisses and hugs them.

"BYE!" Amelia says to Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer as she hugs the four of them.

"Bye!" Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer say in unison to everybody as they leave the house with Scott.

"See you guys in a few minutes!" Scott says to Mitch, Joel, Amelia, Connie, Nel, Mike and Rick say in unison.

Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer have all got picked up by the school bus! Scott walks back to the house and walks inside.

"PAPA! PAPA!" Amelia says with excitement as she hugs Scott's legs tightly.

"Hi, baby girl! Are you ready to go to preschool?" Scott asks Amelia as he picks up Amelia and kisses her cheeks.

"YES!" Amelia yells in excitement. 

"Okay! We are going to leave very soon!" Scott says to Amelia with a grin.

"YAY!" Amelia cheers in excitement.

"How did the kids do?" Rick asks Scott.

"Yeah, how did they do?" Connie asks Scott. 

"All of them were really great! Even Sawyer!" Scott says proudly.

"Aw, I am glad! I was worried that Sawyer wouldn't get on the school bus." Mitch says to Scott.

"He followed right behind Hudson, Sophia and Isabella and he seemed really happy! I told Hudson to keep Sawyer by his side for a few weeks." Scott says to Mitch, Nel, Connie, Mike and Rick.

"Are you ready to go, Mitchy?" Scott asks Mitch with a grin.

"Yes! I am ready to go!" Mitch says with a cheeky smile at Scott.

Mitch then looks at Nel, Connie, Rick and Mike.

"Hey, do you want Scott and I to take Joel with us? Scott and I can take him if you guys don't wanna watch him." Mitch asks Connie, Nel, Rick and Mike.

"No! No! No! Connie, Rick, Mike and I can handle a newborn for thirty minutes! Go and enjoy Amelia's first day of preschool you two! We got Joel." Nel says happily to Mitch.

"Thank you so much." Mitch says to Nel, Connie, Mike and Rick.

"Thank you!" Scott says to Nel, Connie, Mike and Rick.

"You're welcome!" Nel, Connie, Mike and Rick say in unison to Mitch and Scott.

Scott, Mitch and Amelia all head to the preschool together!

Scott and Mitch are at the preschool, getting ready to drop off Amelia for her first day of school - EVER!

"Are you excited for your first day of preschool, baby girl?" Mitch asks Amelia as he smiles at her.

"Uh huh! I very excited, Daddy!" Amelia says happily to Mitch.

"Are you ready to have a fun filled day?" Scott asks Amelia with a cheeky grin.

"Uh huh! I excited and happy, Papa!" Amelia says with a cheeky grin to Scott.

"Are you ready to go inside and meet your teacher and new friends?" Mitch asks Amelia.

"YES! LET'S GO! LET'S GO!" Amelia yells at Mitch and Scott with excitement.

"Okay! Let's go!" Scott says to Amelia and Amelia cheers.

"Woohoo! Let's go!" Mitch says happily to Amelia.

Scott, Amelia and Mitch all walk into the preschool building together!

Scott, Amelia and Mitch then walk into Amelia's preschool classroom together! Amelia looks around in excitement and smiles up at Mitch and Scott.

Mitch and Scott can't believe that their baby girl is starting preschool!

"Do you like your preschool class, Amelia?" Mitch asks Amelia.

"Uh huh! It is so cool, Daddy!" Amelia says happily to Mitch.

"Look, Amelia! Look over here! All of your friends are in your preschool class! There's Benson, Owen, Levi, Henry, Harper, Hana and Wren's names on the board!" Scott says as he points up at the bulletin board.

"YAY!" Amelia says with a big smile on her face are Scott.

"And you got some new friends in your class too! Their names are Alila, Jericho, Madelyn, Nova, Ford and Camden!" Mitch says to Amelia.

"Woah!" Amelia says with a cheeky grin at Mitch.

Mrs. Green walks over, smiling and waving at Mitch and Scott. Mrs. Green has been all of the Grassi-Hoying kid's first ever teacher!

"Hi! What's your name, sweety?" Mrs. Green asks Amelia.

"Amelia!" Amelia says happily to Mrs. Green.

"Hi, Amelia! It is so nice to meet you! My name is Mrs. Green and I am your teacher! Welcome to preschool!" Mrs. Green says to Amelia

"Yay!" Amelia says to Mrs. Green happily.

Mrs. Green begins to talk with Mitch and Scott.

"AMELIA!" Benson and Owen yell in unison happily to Amelia.

Amelia happily runs over and begins to play to Benson, Owen, Levi, Henry, Harper, Hana and Wren!

After staying for a few minutes, Mitch and Scott get ready and leave their baby girl for her first day of school.

"Amelia, Daddy and I have to go home, okay?" Scott says to Amelia.

"Okay! Bye Papa and Daddy!" Amelia says as she hugs Scott and Mitch tightly.

"Bye, baby! Have fun!" Mitch says as he kisses Amelia.

"Bye, princess! Have a good day!" Scott says as he kisses Amelia.

Amelia smiles at Scott and Mitch before sitting with all of her classmates on the circle rug.

Scott and Mitch then leave the preschool and get in the car.

After dropping off Amelia at preschool, Mitch and Scott go to Starbucks before heading back home!

Mitch, Scott, Joel, Nel, Mike, Connie and Rick all hang out at the house together while Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia are all in school for the day!

- 12:30pm -
Scott has just parked in the preschool parking lot! He is getting ready to pick up Amelia from her first day of school! Mitch is at home taking a nap while Rick, Mike, Connie and Nel are all taking care of Joel.

Scott then walks into the preschool building and walks into Amelia's colorful preschool classroom!

Amelia looks up and sees her Papa standing there, causing her to get up and happily run over to Scott.

"PAPA! PAPA!" Amelia yells happily as she runs over to Scott and hugs his legs tightly, making Scott smile ear to ear.

"Hi, princess!" Scott says as he kisses Amelia's cheeks and hugs him tightly.

"Hi, Papa!" Amelia says with a big cheeky grin.

"Hi! Are you ready to go home and see Daddy, Joel, Nana, Mom Mom, Grampy and Poppy?" Scott asks Amelia.

"Yes, pwease!" Amelia says to Scott happily.

"Okay, let's go!" Scott says as Amelia happily gets her book bag from her cubby hole.

Scott and Amelia then happily walk out of the preschool together, holding each other's hands.

"How was your first day?" Scott asks Amelia as he buckles Amelia in her booster seat.

"Good! It was really fun, Papa!" Amelia says to Scott with a cheeky grin.

"That is so good, baby! I am so glad you had a fun day! Do you like preschool?" Scott asks Amelia.

"Yes! I like it a lot, Papa!" Amelia says to Scott.

"Good! I am so glad you love it! Hey, do you wanna get an ice cream cone?" Scott asks Amelia.

"YES!" Amelia yells in excitement.

"Okay! Let's go get one! My treat to celebrate your first day of school EVER!" Scott says to Amelia and Amelia smiles.

"YAY!" Amelia says as she claps her hands in excitement.

Scott and Amelia get an ice cream together before going back home!

Liam has just came home from his first day of eighth grade!

"Hey, Liam!" Scott, Mitch, Nel, Connie, Rick and Mike all say in unison to Liam.

"Hey." Liam says as he yawns.

"How was your first day of eighth grade?" Mitch asks Liam.

"Fine! All of my classes are going to be fun because I have a lot of friends in my classes though!" Liam says as he opens up a Sprite and takes a sip.

"That's good! Are you excited for a fun year?" Scott asks Liam.

"Yeah, I am pretty excited!" Liam says with a big grin.

Liam hangs out with Amelia, Joel, Mitch, Scott, Nel, Mike, Connie and Rick until Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer came home from school!

- 4:00pm -
Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer are now all home from their first day of school!

"Hey!" Nel, Connie, Rick and Mike say in unison to Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer.

"How was school?" Scott asks Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer happily.

"FUN!" Sawyer says with a big cheeky smile.

"Awesome!" Sophia and Isabella say in unison to everyone.

"Fifth grade is AMAZING and so much fun already!" Hudson says with a big grin.

"I am so glad all of you had a great first day!" Mitch says happily to Hudson, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer.

For the rest of the night, Mitch, Scott, Nel, Mike, Connie, Rick, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel all hang out together!
