Frozen, Kinda

(Sorry I haven't posted any oneshots recently! I got kinda busy, and this one got longer than expected. I hope you like it!)

"I've been waiting for this hang out for weeks!" Kevin exclaimed.
"Same!" Kirstie said. "Mitch, you okay?"
"Huh?" Mitch said.
"You look kinda pale." She said, holding Floof close to her chest.
"Yeah, you do, are you okay?" Matt asked.
"I'm fine." Mitch said.
"Everything's in the back!" Scott said, sitting down next to Mitch.
"Cool! Let's go!" Matt said, as Kevin pulled out of the driveway.
"Seventy-nine bottles of coke on the wall, ninety-nine bottles of coke! Take one down, pass it around, seventy-eight bottles of coke on the wall!" Everyone was singing.
"If I hear any more about those dang coke bottles I'mma go crazy!" Kevin laughed.
"Oh my gosh, Mitch!" Kirstie exclaimed. "Kev, pull over!"
"What's wrong?" Kevin asked.
"Something's wrong with Mitch!" Kirstie said. "Mitch, wake the heck up!"
"I'm driving!" Scott said. "We gotta get to a f--king hospital now!"

---------------

Scott picked Mitch up bridal style, running into the hospital, Kirstie, Kevin, and Matt behind him.
"HELP!" Scott yelled, nurses hurrying to them.
"Oh. My. Gosh." Kirstie said, holding Kevin's hand. "I'm scared."
"He's gonna be okay, right?" Kevin said.
Matt went to talk to a nurse, while Scott just stood there in shock, he had no clue what was wrong, and he was as helpless as his friend.

-----------------

"Well, your friend is gonna be fine." A doctor said.
The four sighed in relief.
"But, he does have a strange, very rare condition."
"Condition!?"
"It's not deadly, at least to him."
"Oh my gosh." Matt whispered.
"What's wrong with our friend?" Kevin asked.
The doctor looked at his clipboard. "This has happened very rarely, but he has a condition where he can control ice and snow."
"Like Elsa?" Kirstie asked.
"Sort of."
"That's kinda cool, right?" Kevin asked.
"He can't control it, so he could potentially hurt someone."
"But he'll be fine?" Scott asked.
"Yes."
"Can we see him?"
The doctor nodded.
      "MITCHELL!!!" Everyone exclaimed.
"Hey!" Mitch exclaimed.
"Mitch! You're the second Elsa!" Kirstie squealed.
Mitch's smile faltered. "Um, yeah."
"Mitchy, you okay?" Scott asked.
"What? Oh, yeah." Mitch said.
"You're gonna come home!" Kevin said.
"Which is great, cause we all know you hate hospitals." Matt said.
"Yeah, that's...that's great." Mitch said. "I need to sleep."
Scott looked at his friend worriedly. "Okay, yeah, that's a good idea."

---------------------

"Watch this!" Mitch shouted, he flicked his wrist, snow flakes falling from no where.
"Snow!" Kirstie cheered, sticking out her tongue, trying to catch the delicate frozen fractals.
"Wait, try to make the floor icy." Matt said.
Mitch did, everyone slipping and sliding.
"This is so fun!" Kevin laughed.
Scott threw a snowball at Mitch, knocking him over into a snowdrift.
"You're gonna get it!" The smaller man laughed, flicking his wrist again, sending a small flurry at Scott.
"Woah!" Scott shouted, ducking, the ice bolt hitting Kirstie.
"KIRSTIE!"
   Kirstie looked up. "Oh...my...gosh..."
"Are you okay?" Kevin asked.
"Y...yeah." She said, sitting up. "I'm just kinda cold."
"Oh my gosh!" Matt shouted.
"What is it?" Scott asked.
"Look at her hands!"
Everyone looked down at Kirstie's hands. "You're fingers are blue!"
"Oh my gosh." Kirstie said, as Kevin picked her up.
"Matt, you drive." Kevin said, as he tried to get his friend out of the house, trying to not fall on the icy floor.
Scott spotted Kevin from the back, getting Kirstie in the car.
"Go!"
"G...guys." Kirstie stuttered. "M...my hands are s...s...so cold."
Scott and Kevin rubbed her blue hands, trying to warm her up.
"We're almost there, Kirst." Matt said.
"W...where's M...mitch?"
Scott looked up. "Oh no, where is he?"
"Did we leave him?" Kevin asked.
"It's fine! We need to worry about Kirstin!" Matt said.
"But-" Scott began.
"No buts!" Matt said, picking Kirstie up. "Her first, then Mitch."
Scott nodded, getting out of the car.

-----------------

"Where the heck is Mitch at?" Kirstie asked. They had gotten back from the hospital, and were looking around the house for their friend.
"I have no clue." Matt said, Kirstie leaning on him for support. (She was fine from the ice blast, but was still weak).
"MITCH!" Kevin yelled, his voice echoing around the empty house. "Guys, he's gone."
Scott went outside. "Guys! Look!"
The other three ran outside, looking where Scott was pointing.
"Snow." Kirstie said.
"In LA." Matt said.
"That's gotta be Mitch." Matt said.
Scott turned to everyone. "We gotta go get him!"
"How did this turn into Frozen?" Kirstie asked.
"That's not the point! We need to get out friend!" Scott exclaimed. "Let's go!"
They got in the car, speeding off.
"I didn't know there was a mountain here." Kevin said, as the car began going up.
"STOP!" Kirstie yelled.
Scott slammed on the brakes. "Holy sh-t, what's wrong!?"
"Look! The road's covered in ice!"
Everyone looked, and sure enough, the road was icy.
"Damnit." Scott muttered. "We gotta go on foot."
"Kirstie can't walk all that!" Matt said.
"Yes I can, I just need you to help me." Kirstie said.
"Okay, fine." Kevin said. "We'll go up the mountain, on foot, and get Mitch."
"That's the plan." Scott said. "It's gonna get dark in about three hours, so we better move quick."
"Alright, let's go!" Matt said, his arm around Kirstie, making sure she wouldn't fall.

-----------------

"I hurt her, I f--king hurt Kirstie." Mitch thought, tears rolling down his cheeks. His arms were crossed tightly across his chest. "Damn, I might've killed her."
Anger, anxiety, and sadness welled up inside him, the tips of his fingers becoming cold and tingly.
Mitch screamed, ice and snow coming from no where.
He looked around. "I'm by myself, away from people. I can't hurt anyone again."
Mitch smiled a little, stomping on the ground, ice forming. "This could be fun."
He began testing his powers, deciding to make a place for himself, away from everyone.
"Blizzard so no one can get by." Mitch muttered, as a thick blizzard formed. He stomped on the ground again, deciding to work on his new icy home.

------------------

"Matt, my legs hurt a lot." Kirstie said.
"I know." Matt said. "Scott! I'm taking Kirstie back down!"
"Okay! As long as she's fine!" Scott called back. "C'mon, Kev, we've got a long ways to go still."
"Uh, Scott?" Kevin said. "There's a blizzard up ahead."
"Huh?" Scott asked, looking up. "Oh my gosh."
There was a giant, thick blizzard up ahead.
"We're gonna get separated." Scott said.
"Yeah."
"Kev?"
"Yeah, Scott?"
Scott turned to his friend. "Go back with Matt and Kirstie."
"Scott! No!" Kevin exclaimed. "We gotta stay together!"
"I can do this, go to the car, I'll be back with Mitch in a while." Scott said. "I'll be fine."
Kevin nodded. "Okay, don't get hurt or anything."
Scott nodded, facing the blizzard. "K, Mitch, I'm coming for ya."
He ran into the thick flurry, the snow almost blinding him. He forced his way through, finally getting out.
"Oh...oh my gosh, so cold." Scott said. "Holy sh-t!"
He stared at the large ice palace in front of him, a huge icy door standing in his way.
Scott knocked, the door opening. "Mitch?"
His voice echoed around the beautiful palace, ice stalactites quivering as they hung from the ceiling.

"Scott?"
"Mitch!"
Mitch smiled a little, standing behind an ice pillar. "Hi."
"This is beautiful, Mitchy, it's amazing." Scott said.
"Thanks, you should probably go."
"Mitch, Kirstie, Kev, Matt, and I came to get you."
"You came to get a monster!" Mitch cried. "I'm gonna hurt you or someone else!"
"Mitchy, you're not gonna hurt me."
Scott was met with a giant ice spike next to his throat. "Mitch?"
He felt something warm dripping down his neck, but the spike suddenly shattered, Mitch falling to the ground.
  "Mitchy!"
Scott wrapped his arms around the other crying boy. "Hey, I'm here, I'm here."
"Don't touch me! I'm gonna hurt you!" Mitch sobbed.
"I love you, I love you so much." Scott whispered in Mitch's ear, rocking him gently. "I love you."
"I'm a monster, Scott! An uncontrollable, f--king monster!" Mitch cried, the ice around them shaking.
"Mitch, calm down." Scott said firmly.
"You're gonna get hurt!"
"Mitch,"
"I hate myself! Why don't you?!" Mitch screamed, all of the ice around them exploding.
"MITCH!" Scott screamed, lunging towards him.
"Scott!"
The ice came crashing down, Scott using his body to protect Mitch.
"S...Scott?" Mitch asked. "Scott, wake up!"
Scott groaned, rolling off of the other man. "Are you okay?"
"Y...yeah, I'm okay." Mitch said. "Why the hell did you come for me?"
"Because I love you, damnit." Scott said, sitting up. "You're not a monster, you just need to get used to this." He held Mitch's hands tightly in his own. "I'll be here no matter what."
"What if I hurt someone else, or you?" Mitch asked. "Scott, I don't wanna do this anymore."
"Do what?" Scott asked.
"Know that I could hurt someone at any f--king time!" Mitch cried.
"That's kinda cool though."
"Scott!"
"Okay, okay, look here." Scott said. "You're not gonna hurt anyone else, if you do you do!"
"You make it sound so easy."
"Because it is, Mitchy." Scott said. "I know you hate yourself right now, but I love you more than you could ever hate yourself."
"Oh f--k, you're making me cry damnit!" Mitch laughed. "My eyes are gonna freeze shut!"
Scott laughed, helping Mitch up. "Ready to go home now?"
Mitch nodded. "Gosh, it's freezing cold."
Scott put his jacket around Mitch's shoulders, his arm around the other man's waist. "Better?"
"Mhm." Mitch said. "Wait a second!"
  "What is it?"
"I know how we can get down the mountain faster!" Mitch exclaimed.
"How?" Scott asked.
Mitch grabbed the taller man's hand, dragging him to the edge of the mountain. He flicked his wrist, a sheet of ice forming.
"Sliding?"
"Yeah!" Mitch exclaimed, holding onto Scott. "Three, two, one, go!"

-----------------

Matt checked his phone. "Should we go get them?"
"Yeah probably." Kevin said, starting to open the car door.
"I hear screaming." Kirstie said.
Everyone looked up, seeing Scott and Mitch coming towards them.
"Look out!" Matt exclaimed.
Kevin stood ready to catch them, but was knocked over instead.
"Oh my gosh, Kevin! I'm so sorry!" Mitch exclaimed.
"Nah, I'm glad you're okay." Kevin said. "Now let's get home! You both look like you're gonna freeze."
"The cold never bothered me anyway." Mitch said.
Everyone gave him an eyeroll, as they began their drive home, acting like nothing weird had happened.
