Hey guys, sorry this isn't an update, just something I wanted to share.

So, I was reading fanfiction, as I always do when it's midnight where I am, and someone (I'm not saying who, I don't want to start a fight, I just wanting to bring light to a topic), decided it would be fun to start commenting rude things to me on a story I was reading.

Eventually, it turned into an argument. And as I was arguing with them, I realized something: They wanted this. Why, I don't know. Maybe they're bored, maybe they want attention. I have no clue. But I'm just doing what they want. So I stopped.

But I'm gonna quote Mitch here: Why would somebody's instinct be to just be mean? Because I see it all the time. Online, towards YouTubers or another comment, on here, and in real life, too. So, I'm not exactly sure why I shared this. But, I do know that it should stop.

Obviously it's not going to, I know. But it would be nice. I come on here to read, not to have people be mean to me, and that's why everyone comes here. To read, and to share their opinions about the book, and maybe bond a little over it.

But I don't think people realize that when they do they, it could mean absolutely nothing to the person they directed it to, or it could mean so much, and it could ruin their day.

So... Yeah. I don't know what else to say. Tell me what you think about it in the comments. Share stories, share your opinion. And thanks for letting me rant. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I thought of this, and I wanted to speak out about it.
