Chapter 17

"NO!" Andy screamed broken-heartedly as her brother took a shaky breath and fell to the ground. She glanced at her hand that's blades were coated in blood.
"How could you?!" She snapped around to the man with the sunglasses with tears running down her face, and was tempted to stab him as well.
"You need to learn how dangerous you are." The guy said plainly, shoving his hands calmly into his pockets.
She didn't reply to that. Mostly because she was terrified of what had just happened, but also because she didn't want to give him the glory of seeing her suffer.
"A-Andy," Edward spoke up, stuttering. "I'm so sorry."
She still didn't answer, even to her friend. She was still in shock.
"What's that?" The man piped up. "Can I hear a car coming down the road? I wonder what they'll think if they see Jordan dead on the side of the road and two people standing over him with blades?"
She frowned and sighed.
"Well I guess we have no choice then, do we?" She half yelled the last two words at the man's face before saying, "Come on, Edward." And he followed gladly.
The man stood watching them for a moment before he vanished, straight into thin air.
As Andy and Edward were entering the hedge garden, the man appeared in front of them, a smug look plastered on his face.
"Goodnight." He said, creeping Andy out, and for a second time, everything went black around her and she felt her legs buckle as she fell to the ground.
"Do not try to escape this place." He said softly in a stern voice. "Bad things will happen."
