It had been almost 13 years since Arthur had died, and Camelot was struggling without their once and future king. 

Gaius had died and that left Merlin to be court physician, so he was. He only used magic for emergencies, relying on science for most things.

Merlin had married Korra (not a guy, I know what you are all thinking), a village girl from Ealdor, with long amber hair, jade colored eyes, and she was relatively tall (about 5' 8").  She was also a sorcerous, just like Merlin, just not nearly as good. She was very calm and relaxed most of the time, and it took a lot to get her angry. But when she was angry, be ready for the rath of Korra. SHe was best at elemental magic, especially the water element. They had two children together.

As 11 year old twins, Maximum and Millenia (better known as Max and Mia), everyone expects them to be the same person, but to be honest, they couldn't be more different. 

Max, the older twin, was very ambitious and hyper. He had his mum's eyes (that of course glowed gold while doing magic), but his dad's elephant ears. His hair closely resembled that of Mordred's. He never was the smartest kid ever, but he definitely made up for it with energy. He was always bouncing off the walls or tapping his feet or moving in some way, just like Leo Valdez. He unfortunately didn't have magic come naturally to him, and he always struggled with any spell past the beginner level.

Mia, on the other hand, was very, very shy, but also very, very beatiful. All the boys liked her, although she avoided almost everyone very well. She had sea green eyes, that strangely glowed blue while doing magic. She also had large ears, but hid them in her long wavy hair, that reached just above her knees, and was a dark brown, a little lighter than Max's, and she usually wore her hair in a braid. She was brilliant, even smarter than Hermione, and she was so good at magic, you would have a hard time deciding what she was best at. Some would say elemental, but then you would see her do potions, then that would be best, but then she did some transfiguration, and....I think you get the point. She was awesome at everything except for having friends. She was just too shy....

Merlin was....well....Merlin!
