Synopsis: Cole Grey lives in a city that floats outside of earths atmosphere. He was born and raised to live on the space hub called Juno where doctors and scientists were sent to observe what was left of earths population. The population being a mere million after a world wide disease war broke out. The war began with spreading Measles, then Consumption and eventually everything else that thriving countries had not experienced in years.

Now that Cole is turning twenty, he gets to choose a marriage mate and return to earth to help procreate.

Cole was ready to go to earth. He spent countless minutes staring at a large virtual globe hovering above a table in Control Room B and if you clicked here or there it would zoom in on the area. It took several clicks, but Cole finally zoomed into the spot he wanted.

"Specimen Z183017403." Cole's father said over his shoulder. "Her family hasn't shown any sign of infection in fourty years."

"Why don't you ever say their real names?"

"Zia Monroe." Cole's father smiled. "Tell me Cole, why the interest in this girl?"

"Because she's from earth. If I'm going to live there, I'll need someone to teach me about it."

Cole's father chuckled. "All you'll need to do is procreate for the area you're assigned. The job isn't hard Cole."

"So everyone being sent down will just become baby making machines. That's it?"

"No. That's not it Cole. Without Project Y the human Race could easily become extinct. The earth's population went from over seven billion to barely one million. That's why we need to send down our healthiest."

Cole looked at Zia's face. She was laughing. Her smile was bright against her crimson painted lips and raven colored hair. He wanted so badly to hear the sound of her voice.

"I think I'm in love with her." Cole finally said.

Cole's father looked him in the eyes. "We'll summon for her to be brought to Juno so the two of you can meet."

A warm smile came over Cole's face. After watching her for years, not only would he get to meet her, he would finally get to ask her to be his wife in Project Y. Now the nerves kicked in. What if she says no? Cole looked at her face again. Love was worth the risk.
