Astrobleme 

As defined by the Encyclopediae Britanica, Astrobleme (from Greek astron, blema, "star wound") is the remains of an ancient meteorite-impact structure on the surface, generally in the form of a circular scar of crushed and deformed bedrock.

We of ScienceFiction think this word is vastly underused. So, we challenge you to  write a story around the word astrobleme... and do not forget to use the word itself!
