Mrs Forrest is the best science teacher you could ask for. She is kind, considerate, down to earth and she doesn't treat her class like we're a bunch of idiots. Unlike most teachers, she talks to her students on an equal level. This is why I love her, but I am NOT a teacher's pet! Please keep this in mind.

I had been having a minor trouble at home. It was nothing major but my dad and his girlfriend broke up in the worst possible way. There was no violence, but there were many arguments and meanwhile, my boyfriend had decided to break up with me because... I didn't do my homework on time.

These were factors that lead to my science detention with Mrs Forrest. Due to having to devote so much of his time to his girlfriend, my dad could no longer help me with my science homework. I decided not to do it for a few months. It put more stress on me that I didn't even do homework for other subjects, such as English and languages. I thought this would go unnoticed but Mrs Forrest was the first to catch on to it. She put me in for an after school detention because she said she could help with my homework.

When I got there, I saw twenty other people all in the lower sets and they were all throwing rubber shavings, pencils and paper with d**ks on them. I was so embarrassed to be in the same room as these people. I hated them all and at that one single second I sat down in my seat next to a kid who obviously didn't give a c**p what was going on, I wished I was dead.
The detention started and I spent the first few minutes wondering about the life the universe and everything. Then that slowly faded into paranoia as I saw the kid next to me pick her nose, and eat it. I became obsessed about how much time in my life I was wasting as I heard the tick, tock, tick, tock, of the clock at the front of the class. It had only been FIVE MINUTES!!! It seemed like an eternity! I was losing my sanity bit by bit.

Half way, Mrs Forrest was at the front of the class talking on the phone. She left the room. Then all of a sudden, BOOM! Everyone was shouting and squealing like pigs. I put my head in my hands and shouted SHUT THE HELL UP!!! No one said a word.
