It's January 2025! I have a short science fiction story to start off the year. Hope you enjoy this month's story!

Once again, I have found the perfect Sci-Fi short fiction for all of you sci-fi nerds! Now I am a huge fan of science fiction stories, but this was short and quite interesting to say the least.

It's about a lieutenant Avyan Varma. He doesn't have a family; he has always been an orphan. He entered the Airforce and eventually was sent to space. They were sent to a place called "The Black Pearl." While he's out in space, he starts a digilog, where he talks about his time on the Black Pearl. Then there was a group of people called the Insenis, and they must fight these people because they are killing and hurting other planets, and they wind up killing Avyan Varma in the end.

Now this story was a bit interesting, but it was a great and short read for those who love short stories. It brings comedy in some parts of the story, like in chapter 1. The action was to the point.

IndigoRuby08 explored a creative approach in this story, especially dialogue and telling a story from all the characters' points of view. Giving each character the opportunity to express themselves and learning about who they are as characters.

Tricky's Personal Opinions

I thought this was an interesting read. Usually, I'll read something with more of a storyline. Which is usually sci-fi fanfic. But this story was good and interesting. I enjoyed it because it was not only short but to the point. I was hoping they would have been more context in the story, but it was good. I loved it very much and hope to find more stories like this. I also love short stories especially if I am pushed for time. I would have to say this story was pretty good. Although, I had wished for the main character to survive. But it was a still good story to read.
