Lullabies and Nursery Rhymes are an intrinsic part of our childhood. For most, they will have marked us from the cradle, and, as years, decades pass, we remember those music and lyrics with nostalgia... and we perpetuate it as we sing those songs to our little ones...

I went down memory lane few years ago, soothing my precious little with melodious and, sometimes, funny words. Though, as much as those old, and sometimes centenarian, rhymes are calming, the lyrics themselves can be quite the contrary.

My historian inclination looked at the original meaning in many of those songs, which, on a weird twist of mind, ended up taking a detour that my other alter ego – the one wondering about space matter – took across the sky and the stars...

You will find in the following pages a revisited version of those known, some well, some other less, nursery rhymes.

These have been, for the most part, previously published in one of the many releases of Tevun-Krus, Ooorah's monthly e-zine dedicated to Science Fiction and its many subgenres.

In most of TK releases, an interpretation had been added to Sci-Fi version of the rhyme. I will link to the publication in external link, in a manner of an Easter-egg... you will be able to listen to some of the Ooorah's crew and other talented authors...

I hope you enjoy it, and perhaps will think of use one of the Sci-Fi version to sooth your little ones...
