*Swearing alert but it's bleeped out*
"hi I'm Phil," says the boy when you sit down next to him, you smile and face the front of the class- the boy with brown hair ignoring you, he is called Dan.

Then another boy sits next to him and next to you sits a girl. The boy is called jack and the girl is called zoe. You can't take your eyes off of Phil but you have to as the lesson is starting.

After the lesson you go to your next one then after that is break. You walk through the hallway with you books, feeling insecure and nervous. This school was bigger than your last one, you lost your trail of thought when you heard yelling from outside. You rush out when you see Dan, a boy called Tom, a boy called Caspar and another called Dean. Standing with them is Phil, looking scared. They are crowding around a boy with blonde, wavy hair and glasses.

"DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK TO MY GIRLFRIEND EVER AGAIN, IS THAT CLEAR YOU P****!" yells Dan.

"Ok...ok I promise!" Says the blonde haired boy, he was shaking and crying.

"YOU'RE A FREAK!" Yells Dean.

Dan punches the boy in the stomach, along with the other boys including Phil, and then they walk away.
You run over to the boy lying on the ground,his lip is bleeding onto his blue shirt and jeans. You help him up.

"What happened?" You ask him, passing him a tissue. He places it on his lip.

"I was talking to Dan's girlfriend because she used to be my best friend, until she got with him." Explains the boy.

"What's her name?" You ask.

"Hazel Hayes!" He says.

"I'm y/n l/n" You say outstretching your hand.

"Charlie Mcdonall." He says shaking your hand.

"You're in my class right?"

"Yeah you're the new girl?"

You and Charlie go to your next lesson. Your mind is else where though. How could that innocent looking boy be best friends with a bully, you think...
