Chapter 1- The disadvantages of dreaming
(Christine's POV)
Another school year began.
Another ten months of constant learning and loneliness.
But, I have a goal this year.
I wanted to finally join the drama club and overcome my shy personality.
Realizing that it was the time to leave, I quickly put on my uniform and grabbed my small crossbody bag, in which I have already packed a small snack, my phone and of course, my book.
As I ran through the kitchen, I quickly grabbed the toast my mom prepared me for the way and I quickly put it into my mouth, because I was really hungry.
I put on my shoes and quickly ran out of my house.
I met the neighbors cat on my way. She was a Siamese cat and her name was Aeisha.
"Hello, my dear kitty cat."
I said as I scratched her.
"I know you like this, so I brought you some."
I said as I pulled out my lunch box and pucked out of it a piece of Nigiri sushi.
I put the salmon and rice onto the pavement and Aeisha started tearing it apart with her small pointy teeth.
I replaced the toast in my mouth and ran towards the school.
I was in a hurry, because it was nearing eight o'clock.
I was with my head in the clouds and I didn't seem to pay attention to the outer world.
I was thinking of all different things.
My thoughts were stopped on the school's courtyard.
I must have bumped into someone, because I fell down onto the grey stone blocks, my bag opening and my papers, along with my book, flying out of it and softly landing on the ground.
"Ouch..." I softly cried out as my knee started hurting.
"Oh, I am so sorry! Are you alright?" The most beautiful voice in the world asked me.
"Am I dead?" I asked because I was sure that voice belonged to an angel.
I slowly opened my eyes to see a boy standing over me, looking at me with worried golden eyes. He was very tall and quite skinny. His face was really handsome, but I could see only half if it, because the other side was covered with a white mask.
"I'll take you to the school nurse and she will help you. It looks as if you hit your head." He gently fold me, starting to pick up my papers and quickly placing them into my lap after he was finished. He then picked me up and carried me to the nurse office.
The whole way through, my eyes were on him.
