Seto's pale orchid colored eyes widened as they swirled back into the misfortune color of chocolate. The grip on his neck forcibly began to get tighter, and the blood dripping down his sweaty forehead seemed to increase in multitude. His vision blurred, his senses weakened. Was this truly his demise, would he be an incompetent failure, almost like his brother?

"Any last words, Harvey Seto Sorcerer?"

"I—" his words were cut off with everything fading to black.

It was Sunday, or what the Hybrids had called 'Sunday.' The sky had scattered clouds, which usually blocked the sun. Everything had seemed still, with the silence giving the day an eerie impression of a horror movie. The two Sorcerers had carefully constructed their plan prior to the night before, 'Saturday,' before deciding to strike. The time was 18:32 (6:32PM), and the sun was close to setting. The sky above the two Sorcerers was changing to a beautiful pink and purple. As they stood outside the School of Creation, Seto checked his black watch anxiously while Kyle gazed around for witnesses.

Seto was wearing a My Chemical Romance hoodie, along with a black turtle neck shirt on the inside. He also had worn black skinny jeans, emphasis on the "skinny," as well as black socks and his black converse shoes. His hair was neatly combed, and his fringe covered a good portion of his eyes that were tinted a light purple. He also wore large, bulky frames. He looked quite nerdy to say the least, but he would match greatly within the darkness of the school.

Kyle, on the other hand, looked like a walking beam of light. Adding to his bright, fuchsia hair, he wore a bright yellow short sleeved shirt that said "I ❤️ Humanity," as well as a long sleeved blue shirt on the inside. His jeans were ripped, navy blue, and his shoes matched Seto's. He also wore a black choker on his neck with a "Yin-Yang" charm on it. Seto groaned, gazing at his 'Protector,' "I told you to wear black!"

"I'm sorry that I'm..." Kyle began. "—fashionable." He dramatically flipped his hair.

"If we get caught because of your silly outfit I'm gonna be sure to slit your throat." Seto scolded. "Did you take out the cameras?"

"I froze them with my amazing Sorcerery, it malfunctioned the system and it just loops empty hallways while changing the time." Kyle bragged. "I am quite the tech guy."

"Sure," Seto muttered, sarcastically. Shutting his eyes and breathing slowly, he phased through the solid, brick wall, while Kyle stood there, dumbfounded. The brunet teleported the other inside.

"Where are we going?" Kyle asked, his vision adjusting to the sudden darkness. The school had no windows, and the doors were all shut into the walls. It seemed almost as if the school was abandoned. Seto's purple eyes densely lit the darkened hallway.

"Rosenthal's office. When I scanned behind the walls, I saw that there were many documents there." Seto replied, strolling straight foreword and taking a left. "If the door is closed, I'll just phase through the wall."

"But the doors are all in the walls—"

"Hence the point of using my Eye Ability."

"Eye Ability...?"

"The Head Sorcerers, for example my main family, have Eye Abilities. Each ability is different, and it can either be helpful or useless. I was bred to have one of the best Eye Abilities; Analyzation. Analyzation can 'scan' people or 'things,' and it can show their race, age, power level, etc.."

"So, basically it's the rarest?"

"Suppose so." The brunet finished, stopping in the middle of the hallway. There were visible creases in the wall, almost as if a door was there. Seto touched his hand in the center of it, phasing through it with ease. He teleported the fuchsia haired male next to him.

"That fast?" Kyle had remarked, blinking.

"Obviously. I told you; we go in, steal the documents, copy the document, save the original document somewhere." Seto huffed, strolling around the oak colored desk and into the back. Dozens upon dozens of documents laid upon each other, disorganized, on a single black desktop. A desk lamp was flickering next to it, almost as if someone had forgot to change the batteries. The Sorcerer began to analyze the papers until he went to a specific document that would lock his interest.

'Solace fits into the letter that the Hybrids call S.' Seto thought to himself while shuffling through the section "Q - T."

He grabbed the file. It was a dull, spongy yellow color with some scribbles on the cover. The brunet opened it and began to read the information presented to him. Kyle peaked over his shoulder, pretending to adjust invisible glasses.

Seto just blinked—no information really mattered to him. He sighed, deciding it was already time to go. He faced Kyle, who stood on the side, gazing at some book. He murmured, "Let's go."

"Wait," was all that came out of Kyle's mouth, "I see something."

"Hm?" Seto had blinked, strolling to the other.

Kyle stood on his toes, hoping and grasping ahold of a file. It was covered in dust, along with some cobwebs, and smelled of dirt. He brushed it off, then passed it to Seto. The brunet hesitantly held it in his hands, he opened it up with caution to see his older brother's face planted on the front. He nearly puked as he began to read through the information.

The brunet clenched the documents in his hand before turning around, "We're leaving, now."

"But Seto—"

"Let's go." He growled, quickly bubbling the documents and duplicating them. He changed up some of the information then but them back. He phased through the wall then quickly dashed down the hall. Kyle teleported himself to the brunet, chasing after him.

"Seto c'mon! You can't run away from your problems!" Kyle hollered out, tackling the brunet. The two toppled over, Seto hit his head against the wall. He winced at the throbbing pain.

"I'm fine." Seto spat, attempting to push the fuchsia haired male off of him, "get off!"

"You're not okay, and I won't get off. You want a piggy back ride? It'll calm you down." Kyle smiled.

"No, I'm not a child." Seto hissed.

"You loved piggy back rides when you were younger!" Kyle exclaimed whilst flailing his arms.

Seto had managed to kick the male off of him, then got up. He muttered, frowning, "People change." He phased through the wall, Kyle teleported after him once more. The brunet had held the documents clenched tightly in his fist.

They stood in front of the school. It was dark outside, the sun had already set and the unsettling cool breeze was coming in. There were no stars in the sky, no moon to guide their path home. It was silent; eerily silent. The crickets were not singing, and the birds were asleep, or possibly dead. Seto broke the silence, "Do you sense something?"

"Now you talk to me," Kyle rolled his eyes, cursing under his breath, "and to answer your question, yes I do. Everything's been fast paced lately, I wouldn't be surprised to see if someone already wants to attack us. It's almost as if everything was like a story—about five minutes ago we were looking at the documents now we're outside."

"I don't need to hear your idiotic theories," Seto replied back, frowning. He cleared his throat before yelling, "Whoever is out there, reveal yourself!"

"I'd never thought I would live to see the day where the so called 'Prince of Sorcerers' would stand before my feet." A voice snarled.

Seto tossed the documents up in the air, bubbling them. Kyle stepped in front of the brunet, ready to fight. The figure stepped closer out of the shadows, chucking, "No need to get feisty."

"Who the hell are you!" Kyle yelled, his fist clenching.

The figure had seemed to teleport behind the brunet, punching him harshly in the back, then in the head. Seto toppled forward, landing face first in the grass. His spine felt like it was throbbing, almost as if it was broken. His head, on the other hand, was bleeding. He felt the red liquid slowly oozing out of him as the beads of sweat increased. Within the moment, he felt his neck being grabbed at, and suddenly he was off of his feet. He struggled for air as he thrashed his legs.

"L-Let go of m-me—!" He scoffed, his breathing beginning to slow and his vision beginning to blur.

The brunet had passed out.

Kyle struggled to move, almost as if he was frozen in fear. The figure threw Seto aside on the grass, his body still and unconscious. Kyle quickly ran and threw a punch at the figure; it dodged with ease. Punch after punch, kick after kick; the fight was even. Seto weakly opened his eyes. The fight was blurry, but he could feel their movements through the Earth's pulsing ground.

"K-Kyle—!" He groaned, trying to get up. The pain in his back was throbbing, almost as if he was being pushed down. He gave up and fell back on the ground, his eyes fully shutting and his consciousness giving up.

It felt as if it was almost a dream, as if reality was just a simple illusion. The pitch black darkness increased, but it was sickening. Black goo seemed to swirl violently around the brunet as he regained consciousness. It wasn't choking, it felt like a rushing, thick water in which you could not be drowned. Seto was surprised that he had regained consciousness in this state.

"Hello?" He had asked, seeming to float.

Silence. He could sense a presence beating in front of him.

"I demand you to tell me where I am this instant." Seto commanded, growling.

"You're a pesky one, aren't you?" A coarse voice sneered.

"Who are you—first of all?" Seto had begun, looking around at his surroundings.

Darkness.

"You don't need to know who I am, Prince of Sorcerers. I am simply just here to arrange a deal with you."

The brunet winced, holding his arm in pain. A clouded figure had seemed to swirl meaninglessly as a hand-like object came into view. Seto hesitantly gazed at it, dumbfounded.

"You're hesitating, aren't you?" It had asked; a sneer. "Another Sorcerer of your bloodline stood before me once, he didn't make hesitation."

Seto opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off, "You both have that look in your eyes. The sparkle, the draining sparkle of the little hope you had left in you. Your brother had everything he could ask for with the Hybrids; friends, good health, protection, and a person who loved him.

But he wanted more.

He wanted a power that could help the Sorcerers win. He was already broken, almost like a shard of porcelain. He was already unstable to begin with, and the power had only worsened his condition. He took my hand and we made a deal; I would give him my power and he would give me most of his soul. And look where he is now—the grave."

Seto clenched his fist, the voice continued, "If you make a deal with me, then I can fulfill your duties as the Prince of Sorcerers. You will no longer be compared to your petty brother, and you will have the power that can rule the universe."

He gritted his teeth, "...what's the catch?"

"There is none, my Prince. All you have to do is take my hand and you'll be set to a lifetime of infinite power. You can defeat that simpleton who calls himself 'The Prince of Hybrids,' and you can finally kill your father. Now, what will you say, Sorcerer?"

"I'll—" Seto thought for a moment, "I-I'll do it."

"Perfect." The voice sneered as Seto took the hand. It was cold, desolate; the emotion seemed to have been drained from it.

With the last sight of darkness, the brunet seemed to fall downwards into a cycle of pain

and power.
