"Seto, wake up, someone is in your presence."

Seto felt his eyes flutter open. It was dark, a hazy figure sat in front of him. He was no longer on a battlefield, laying on tough grass. He was in bed, with a warm blanket over tossed him and a cold, wet towel on his forehead. He felt sick, almost as if his whole body was burning. He coughed, sitting up. The towel toppled on to the blanket.

His eyes shifted around the room. It wasn't as dark as before, but it was almost as if the darkness was less welcoming. It was almost as if something was lurking within the shadows; something was watching. It sent shivers down his spine, he wanted to leave.

"You're awake." A voice had sighed. Seto turned and was met with those crystal blue eyes. He clenched his fist, backing up. Brice chuckled, "Don't worry, I'm not here to hurt you—for now at least."

"Where am I?" Seto asked, his voice was raspy and it ached. "What happened?"

"You've been passed out for three days, it's now Wednesday. Zek and I found you and Kyle outside the School of Creation, you were passed out and bleeding while Kyle was protecting you. Turns out the guy attacking you was some type of Sorcerer. I managed to scare him off, but when the school found out about this, they shut down the school until they can find that Sorcerer on the loose." Brice replied, patting Seto's head. "You still have a fever, lay down."

Seto did as was told, laying back down on the pillow. Brice put the cold towel back on his forehead, then continued to speak, "I volunteered to look over you, you're at my house at the current moment. Kyle is helping to look for the Sorcerer with the police, since he's the one who managed to fight him."

"I thought you didn't care about me." Seto whispered in monotone, his voice cracking and his ears tinted pink.

"Look, consider me as your friend outside of school. But inside of school, we're rivals, alright?" Brice mumbled, his churlish attitude returning.

Seto chuckled, coughing. "W-Well, alright."

"Since you're awake now, I'm gonna head off to sleep on the couch." Brice said, standing up from his chair.

Seto clenched his fist, watching the blond gather his items. Sitting up, he grabbed Brice's wrist, his face beginning to redden up. The Prince of Hybrids turned around, dumbfounded. Seto spoke, stuttering, "P-Please don't l-leave, I'm a-afraid—"

"Afraid of what?" He turned, sitting back down in the chair. Seto gulped, immediately launching out and hugging the blond. Brice fell back in surprise, the weight and warmth of brunet made him smile a bit.

"The d-dark and e-everything about what happened yesterday a-and—"

Brice sighed, sitting up and lifting the brunet in his arms. He set him in the bed, then sat down next to him, softly patting his head. "Crying won't help with anything—come here."

Seto toppled into Brice's arms, hugging him tightly. Brice tensed up, but then relaxed. He sighed softly stroking Seto's head at the brunet quietly sobbed. Brice felt his face heat up once more as he began to think of words to say. He smiled softly, "I have a trick, look at this."

Seto gazed up at the blond's face, his eyes bloodshot and his nose running. Brice lifted his hand up, a spark of electricity shooting upwards and onto the ceiling. The spark of electricity seemed to dance before fading away and back into the air. He did this a second time, the spark had stayed. Slowly, the room began to fill up with electric sparks, as if they were constellations dancing. Seto's eyes lit up, a small smile planted on his face. It calmed him down.

The electricity show was dazzling as the bolts merged and split into different pieces. The brunet felt as if he could watch this for hours, and Brice didn't mind doing as so. As the seconds slowly turned into minutes, Seto's eyes slowly became heavy, then had fully shut. Brice yawned, softly setting down the brunet in bed and tucking him in. He put the rag back on his forehead, then sat on the bedside, watching him.

"Night, Seto." He softly whispered, kissing the brunet on the forehead.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY BABY BROTHER!"

Brice immediately had sprang up. He found himself gazing in the eyes of three people; an angry Kyle, a chuckling Zek, and a half-awake Tyler. Brice had blinked, turning to his side and seeing Seto beginning to wake up as well. The brunet and the blond stared at each other for a moment, before their eyes widened in shock. Brice toppled onto the wooden floor, yelping in surprise.

"W-What the hell!" He said out loud, "I know Seto's suppose to be here, but how did you get into my house?"

"Scanner." Zek mumbled, shoving his hands into his jean pockets. He didn't look like he was in the mood to talk.

"Someone's in love~!" Tyler teased, snickering, "When we got here, Brice was cuddling Seto. This is absolutely adorable, you two sharing a bed and you both haven't known each other for even a week! I thought you both were suppose to be rivals!"

Seto's face became a bright shade of red as he buried his face into his hands. Brice abruptly noticed black nail polish, or what had seemed to be nail polish, on his pale finger nails. He decided not to question it. Brice ran his hand through his hair as he stood up and stretched, "Any new information that you've gathered?"

"School's opening back up on Friday, and there's no new stuff about the Sorcerer thing." Zek had replied efficiently. "The whole city's on alert."

"Good, good." Brice muttered, eyes shifting around the room. His ceiling had burnt marks on it from the previous evening. "We have a good two days off, that should be enough time to find the Sorcerer."

"I addressed it to Mrs. Rosenthal, the mission should be worth 1B - 5B coins for each who participates. So, if the five of us went, we'll be able to increase our coins, along with our ranks. We'll also be appraised at school, which is always good." Zek spoke up, explaining everything. "The police don't have any good leads, and since we only have two days the police have an advantage over us."

"So our goal is not to let the authorities catch them?" Tyler asked, "Isn't that bad? We're just throwing away our lives for some coins?"

"We'll also be appraised by Father and probably have a ceremony~!" Brice replied, smiling. "And we'll be on the news, and everyone will know ours na—!"

"Hate to burst your bubble, but we have the competition of other students who were informed about this." Zek frowned, hitting the blond in the nape of the neck. "Zane Ro'meave or Aaron Falconclaw could figure this out all by themselves, so we'd have to hurry up."

"Fine, then let's start now." Brice muttered, crossing his arms.

"Are you sure Seto and I can tag along? We're kinda new to this—mission thing." Kyle asked, shrugging.

"Seto would be a valuable asset to us, considering his smarts. We could go without Kyle or Tyler, honestly," Zek sighed, "but sure, whatever floats your boat I guess."

"Hey!" Tyler and Kyle had screamed in unison.

"I'm fine with it." Seto shifted his eyes downwards to his hands. They flickered with black and purple; he managed to hide them under the bedsheets.

"Alright then, we'll eat at iHop then start going!" Tyler cheered, clasping his hands together, "I'm really in the mood for waffles and bacon! I say Brice pays."

"Fine, I'll pay." Brice said in defeat, crossing his arms angrily. He turned to Seto, his face going soft, "Are you able to walk? I can carry you if you want—"

"If he can't walk I'm carrying my baby brother." Kyle scolded.

"Kyle will be carrying me on his back." Seto said, going back to his solemn attitude.

"Let's go, I'm hungry!" Tyler whined, pulling Brice and Zek's arms. He managed to forcibly drag the two out the door, leaving Kyle and Seto to be alone. Kyle turned around and Seto barely managed to hop onto his back.

Resting his chin on Kyle's neck, he sighed, speaking to him softly, "I want you to locate and track the Sorcerer that had attacked us. Capture him before the other Hybrids do, we will bring him into questioning."

"Yes, Seto." Kyle grunted, standing up. "Are you and Brice alright now? You both seem pretty close—is there something between you two?"

"It isn't your place to ask," Seto murmured, face heating up, "it's a private issue."

"I've noticed that your Sorcerery is fluctuating as well, there's something wrong, it doesn't take an idiot to realize that." Kyle changed the topic, eyes shifting to the ground. "I've known you since you were a kid, you can tell me anything y'know."

"I'm just getting close to that Prince so I can learn more information, that's it." Seto admitted, his voice cracking a bit. "Nothing more than my advantage."

"Well, alright." Kyle snickered, a smile creeping up on his face. "If you do end up rebelling with him, you owe me~"

"Just shut up and walk." Seto scolded. Kyle straightened his posture and walked out of the house following the others. He closed the door behind him.

"What took you so long!" Tyler hollered out, "I'm hungry! Hurry up!"

Kyle's smile widened, chasing after Tyler. Seto tightened his grip on the fuchsia haired male as he yelled, "Coming Tyler!"

Kyle and Tyler walked side by side, leaving Seto to think alone in his mind—or he thought he was alone.

"Kid, your mind is so vast, everything's just a forest."

'Is there an issue with that?' Seto replied.

"Not really. Since your body is still adjusting to me, you'll have a fever for a couple of weeks—not days. And speaking of me, I've been sensing something else here as well."

'Something else you say? Intriguing, tell me.'

"I've been exploring for a while, and I couldn't help but look at one of your memories. It was a massacre—do you remember a voice speaking to you?"

'No.'

The memory suddenly had came back to him.

Questions turned into statements and statements turned into harassment. Seto clenched his fist once more, visibly showing a ruthlessness that would be quick to erupt. As the crowd grew, and sight of Kyle began to disappear, Seto was ready to snap.

"Show them, Seto. Show them your power."

He pulled his hood down, revealing his pair of dark purple eyes. As his hair began to to lift up and the ground began to shake, the crowd trembled in fear. Lifting up his left arm, the color of bright purple could be seen from his hand. The purple began to grow in size around Seto's waist, but then began to create a pair of arms. Vigorously slashing his hand downwards, an explosion could be heard as the crowd was thrown backwards. A large crack in the ground was seen, separating the crowd from himself.

"Kill them off. Make them regret every word they said from their worthless mouths. Make them regret the words they said about your brother!"

Without hesitation, the arms grew longer and bigger in size. Slashing his arm upwards once more, the purple arms grasped the crowd in one big swoop. Now, raising both of his arms up, the purple arms carried the crowd 30 meters (98 feet) into the air. Thrashing both of his arms downward, the purple arms released the crowd by throwing them downwards. Screams could be heard, followed by another explosion as a couple hundred Sorcerers were thrown into the Earth, creating a crater that looked deep, most likely double the height that they were lifted.

"Mercy!"

The sudden impact caused a small fire to be cast around, as well as a powerful gust. The purple arms were wiped away by the wind, leaving purple sparks in the air. Seto's hair went back down, and his eyes went back to the color of a milk chocolate. Strolling to the crater, the Prince smiled to himself, finding most of the people dead.

"To the ones who managed to survive that..." Seto began a devilish smirk forming on his face.

"I was only using ten percent."

The memory had made him cringe, due to his recklessness.

'Come to think of it, the more I've been here, the more my emotions begin to fluctuate. I don't want to feel any emotion anymore. Now, tell me, what was the point of that explanation?'

"It wasn't my voice."

'Oh great, there's more of you?'

"You should be the one who's celebrating, you get more power in the end. That's all you want, right?"

'...Right. Nothing else matters to me besides my own benefit.'
