Kai's POV

After Spanish ended, I said goodbye to Jay and headed for Maths. My teacher is Mr. Chamber, and he's ace (unlike some teachers I know...).

His room is plastered with Teenager Posts and symmetrical drawings done by students. He's got a shelf especially for Maths textbooks- but he hides candy in there too. When a student solves a really hard math problem, he gives them a chocolate bar.

I entered the class 5 minutes early and sat down next to Cole and Nya. Cole was having a just-before-lunch snack- cake, of course.

"What flavour is that?" I asked, plopping down on a chair at their table.

"Naked- mmf- Neapolitan-" he told me in between mouthfuls. "Ish good!"

"I can see that," I laughed. Cole was making sure that every single crumb found its way into his mouth.

"What did you just have?" Nya turned to me.

"Spanish," I said. "Hey guys, check this out."

I pulled out the drawing of Mr. Chen and showed it to them. Nya and Cole grinned.

"Nice," Cole commented as he swallowed his cake.

"Good afternoon," Mr. Chamber strolled into the room. And following behind him was...

One of the most beautiful girls I'd ever seen.
She had long, red hair, a flowy orange top, and eyes as brown as gingerbread. She walked with elegance, and a sort of...self-confidence. She had caught my eyes instantly.

I nudged Cole, still staring at her. "Umm....who's she?"

Cole shrugged. "Dunno. Hey Nya, check out the new girl."

"Everyone, this is Skylor," Mr. Chamber showed Skylor to a seat near the front. "She's just joined this school. Give her a nice, warm welcome." He handed her a small Dairy Milk chocolate bar. "Now, today we are going to learn how to calculate volume. Get out your exercise books, and write this down...."

I didn't pay attention at all to what Mr. Chamber said after that. I just got out my sketchbook and started drawing.
I drew Skylor, making her look as attractive as she looked in real life. Then I drew me next to her, as hot as ever. Then I coloured it all in, careful to get the shades just right. We both had big smiles on our paper faces.

I smiled back.
