Joker and Akai are at school, trying to get along after yesterday's incident. Joker was still terrified of what happen to him, so he tried to be as close to Akai as possible to be more safer. Is that the strange aura he felt? Maybe. As he and Akai studied, he can't help but keep looking at Akai. He is hard to not look at for some reason. Attractiveness? Maybe.

The flaming red hair, the unique and interesting eyes, the body figure. He can still remember Akai's body heat when he and Akai were taking a bath together. It felt good and comfy. Akai noticed Joker looking at him and smiled. He looked to the side of the window to see the same birdies with their eggs. How cute.

Class ended, and now free time came. Joker wanted to take a simple nap but the thought of pranking some students sounds fun. He decided to place a fake cockroach on one of the girl student's chair. The girl screamed and Joker hold in his laughter. Akai smirked and pulled Joker towards him.

"I know what you did." He said in a husky voice. Joker blushed a bit as the girls tried to get away from the fake cockroach.

"You do like teasing other people don't you? I wonder if you like to be teased, just in a different situation." He said again. Now, Joker tried to sustain a moan from coming out. One of the boy student saw them near the window and pointed at them.

"Joker did it!" He said. Joker look up to see the girls tried to chase him away. Joker got up and ran out. All the girls tried to hit him hard while Akai chuckled. How cute. He saw Joker coming back laughing happily. It's beautiful. He blushed at Joker's beauty and looked away.

Soon enough, P.E came in and everyone got ready. Joker and Akai got partnered up to do stretches. Joker stretch first and boy is he flexible. Akai wonder how flexible he can be. Maybe flexible enough to do some other activities he had in mind, though not dare to do it now or then. Akai pushed Joker's back further and he can feel Joker grunting.

"You okay?" He asked. Joker smiled painfully.

"I'm good." He said. Akai sighed and got Joker to get up from his painful position. From the looks of it, he doesn't think Joker can move at this condition. After asking for permission from the teacher for Joker to rest, they arrived in an empty nurse room. Joker was sat down gently and Akai hugged him.

"I'm sorry Joker but you stretch yourself a bit too much. Your legs can barely stand." Akai said, massaging it a bit. Joker sustain a moan again.

"I'm, fine. Akai wait-" he didn't get to finish his words when Akai looked at him straight in the eye, his eyes shows care and love.

"No more words, Joker. Just rest." He said. Joker was about to fall asleep when a green creature came in and surprised him.

"Hoshii!!!" It says. Joker jumped away.

"Gyaaaaaahhhh!!!" He screamed. The green creature is cat looking.

"Hoshii!" It said. Akai looked at it with wonder.

"An alien cat? Maybe this was the Phoenix's gift. Amazing." He said and poke the small creature. Joker got away and hid behind Akai.

"Don't let that pseudo cat near me!!!" He said. Akai smiled.

"You're afraid of cats?" He asked, taking the small creature and placed it on the bed. Joker nod.

"Yes now please don't let it come closer to me." He said and hugged Akai tightly. Akai blushed and look at the creature again.

"Hoshii?" It says and licked its paws to clean its face. Akai thought a bit.

"Maybe, I can take it. You can come visit my home while it stays in my room. Will that be okay enough?" He asked for Joker's approval. Joker thought a bit, then nod as he pointed at the alien creature.

"Fine, just get it away from me!" Joker said. Akai nod and told the little creature to stay in his gym bag he brought in earlier. The little one nod and went inside. Looks like it can understand human language. That's good. Joker sighed and let go of Akai.

"We better head back to class. We'll be late." He said. His legs are better so it's fine to walk towards class. Akai nod, took his gym bag and walked with him towards class where Professor Neo was there.

"Ah, Joker and Akai. Where have you two been?" He asked. Akai looked at Joker's look. He looked a bit, annoyed?

"Answer this question, why are you still here?" He asked. Professor Neo smirked.

"I'm still valid here, Joker. I'm still a teacher here. So answer my questions." He said, his voice boom in the classroom. All of the students never interfere since they knew Joker's relationship with Professor Neo and Professor Clover hasn't been a good. Akai didn't know, so he need to ask the others soon about it.

"We're from the nurse office." Akai said to stop the quarrel. He and Joker went to their seat and sat down. Joker hasn't been focus in class. He looked, down. Akai knew he needs to cheer him up. The little green creature notices the situation so it kept itself hidden.

After class, Professor Neo left and Joker sighed. Akai needed answer. So he scooted himself with his gym bag for the creature to at least breath. He looked at Joker and hold him to comfort him. Joker looked at him and sighed, holding him back.

"You might be asking why me and the professor weren't in good terms. He's not the only one actually. Him and Professor Clover despises me just like me despises them. They were... I guess rude and greedy. They can be dangerous when things went wrong. They even called my name which make me hate them a lot." Joker explained. Akai wondered.

"What did they called you?" He asked. Joker looked at him and sighed.

"My real name." He answered. Akai was confused.

"Wait, Joker isn't your real name?" He asked. Joker giggled.

"No, it's just a nickname. My real name is Jack. But I don't use my real name cause it always remind me of my dead family... Because of Clover." He said with sadness and anger. Akai hugged him to comfort him. They are both alone so the little creature snuggled with them. This scares Joker but his memories of his family death is worse.

"It's okay, Joker. I'm here." Akai said, calming him down. Joker soon break down and express everything he had been feeling for years. Akai made an assumption but he needs facts.

"Why Clover?" He asked. Joker went quiet and spoke.

"He killed them. At the time, there was a malfunction on his vehicle and crashed at my parents... He didn't mean to, but his face says otherwise. It's all the reason why he wears a mask. To hid his identity and cover up the crime. No matter how many times I told the police, he somehow managed to get away with it." He cried. Akai couldn't believe it, but it sounded serious. Then Akai did the most stupid move he did.

He kissed his forehead.

Joker was surprised but he just let it be. It felt, calming. Akai look at Joker, blushed and look away.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that. I thought it might make you feel better." He said, awkwardly. Joker smiled and hugged him while the creature stays inside the bag eating some candies Akai got from his fangirls.

"Thank you." Joker said happily. Akai nod and hugged him back.

At home, Akai freed the small creature and noticed it eating candies. Looks like this little one loves sweets so he grabbed some more in one of his other bag.

"I think I'll give you a name. Maybe, Acrux?" He asked the green cat.

"Hoshii!" It says happily, sounding like it likes the name.

"Alright, Acrux it is!" He said and lift up the car. He looked outside to see a beautiful scenery from his window. He breath in deeply and smiled.

"Joker, I hope you'll smile again." He said and walked with Acrux to the kitchen for dinner. Joker on the other hand just finished some of his assignments and smiled at the kiss Akai gave him on his forehead.

"Akai, I hope you'll accept me one day." He said in his heart, not noticing some people outside of his house looking at him in the darkness of the shadow, hidden in plain sight. What's gonna happen?
