I was as late for lessons as Mabel was, but the history teacher didn't really care.

Oh well.

I took my seat next to Louis, and he looked kind of shocked to see me.

"Bill, where were you the whole weekend? I was trying to contact you!" He said.

"Oh, I've been attending to my girlfriend." I replied sheepishly.

"Since when did you have a girlfriend? Who is it? Why didn't you tell us about her?" He teased.

"Yeah... Well her name is Mabel I'm sure you've heard of her," I continued.

"Oh that chick whose twin is Dipper? Yeah I know her, we were from the same middle school too!" He said while in thought. When he saw my look of disapproval at the word 'chick' he grinned sheepishly as well.

"Sorry."

I waved it away, signalling that it was fine. He laughed it off.

"Anyway, did you hear about Bridgette?"

I perked up. What about her? Now that I see her in a new light, I didn't really believe her good antics anymore.

"Her and Benjamin broke up!"

"Oh." came my uninterested reply.

"Yeah, we all expected that, since she's a cheerleader and he's a playboy yada yada yada, but the shocking thing was this." He paused for effect. 

"She said it was because of you she broke up with him."
