( Mabel's POV )

The next day, he told me he wanted to go for a party organised by them.

By them.

I nodded my head, while staring blankly into space.

Them.

Bill was surely getting closer and closer to them, and if they want him, they get him. Sooner or later, will he abandon me just for his new supposed group of friends?

Doesn't he know, the ugly side of these people?

Of course I didn't, back when I was way younger.

I guess I could be considered popular. I always had this ever-changing group of friends, and people liked talking to me. Then I met and got closer to this group of boys. We kind of formed one huge clique. People were envious of me and all, I remembered I liked the attention.

Until they started bullying Dipper.

And I stood up for him. I sided him instead of them.

And with a glare and rolling of eyes, the whole gang left, without me. And that was how I was kicked out.

Just because I was doing the right thing.

Even those few people whom I thought I could consider as really good friends- they just hung among themselves.

I was more than devastated. I lost everything.

But at least I didn't lose my brother, and the rest don't matter more than him.

That was why I despised them.

That group of fake friends that surprisingly everyone wants to be part of. What was their problem?

"Hey Shooting Star, wake up!" he snapped his fingers in front of me, and I awoke from my trance.

"Huh? oh yeah, sure you can go, you don't need to ask me for permission or anything, I don't do stuff like that," I laughed.

"Oh but still, your advice is always the best."

"When's the party?"

"It's tomorrow evening, apparently its a Friday, and they want to party till midnight and stuff. But I will just leave when I get bored and all,": he shrugged.

"Well, I'm sure that you can get something good out of it," I reply, "Oh, but let me help you pick out clothes for the party!"

"Must you do that? It's so troublesome!" he whined.

TIMESKIP TMR BEFORE PARTY

"This looks good on you!" I commented, handing him the plain pastel yellow shirt with a pair of white shorts.

"Okay then, I will wear this..." Bill looked totally unconcerned with the choice of clothes.

And when he came out with the dress code I picked out, even if I was reluctant to see him go for the party, as his girlfriend, I couldn't help but find him irresistibly hot and attractive and was more than mesmerised for a long moment.

He must've rushed while changing, because part of his stomach was just barely exposed. I helped him to adjust his shirt and all, hand still lingering around him.

"See you," I waved

He winked back.

"See you later, Shooting Star."
