Make with the Merry!!
This will be short and sweet.
I wanted to leave you guys with some warm sentiments before Christmas so....
Blessings are as follows:
May your days be merry and bright!
May you display peace on Earth and good will towards men!
May your days be full of merriment and joy!
May the love in your heart reach out to each other!
May you find the biggest blessings in the smallest wonders of the world!
May your smile outshine your woes!
May you find truth, love and happiness!
May you give the Lord His portion of your heart as He gave you a portion of His!
And most of all... May you find all the matches to your socks and lids to your Tupperware!
About those up there...
You see that baby at the top...she was a quality control supervisor for Christmas Eve making sure all the lights worked and all the tinsel sparkled with glee. But I had to get a closer look at one of the baubles so I brought the tree down to my level...or so I've been told every year since then. So if you have quality control supervisors in your home in the form of babies or fur babies...just let them do their jobs, they are after all there to ensure that your Christmas is of the utmost cheer.
Failure to let them do their jobs may result in consequences...and no one wants that. No sir.
Now to the right, you will note the expression on that poor child's face...kind of in shock and scared...over-stimulated by her surroundings and afraid of the character covered in hair. Please take care when taking your quality control supervisors to visit the big man....it may be cute to you parents, but for the little ones...it can be traumatizing. Yes, yes we get over it...so much so that we force it upon our children – and thus the vicious cycle begins. Ahh...these magic moments are meant to be shared. There is a third photo but ...we will leave that where it is in the photo album. Just know that my disdain for the flash was very apparent and the tears flowed.
Yes, that child is me. These photos were given to me by my aunt. She thought them to be hilarious and so do I. Particularly the one with Santa – my face is truly something to behold. I smile as I look upon them. I wish I could say I remember those moments, would be a miraculous bit of awesome. I am however glad to have those moments frozen in time. So with that I will say – take care of the happiest moments you have, share them and relive them if possible..there is nothing wrong with taking trips down memory lane, just remember ....you have a whole lot of living to do and more memories to make. Love to you always troops.
Have a safe and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
And as always
Thanks for reading!!
