Bonus Chapter

So....

I wanted to write a bonus chapter for this book. It's a task for as I don't want to disturb the essence of it.

Maybe I am right,  maybe I might not reach your expectations but all I want is accept it and please share, comment and vote. It means a lot as it will reach many other readers too.

I don't want any publicity for myself.  Hell I hate social media but then it really makes me happy to know someone out there has chosen to read my story, spend time on it and feel maybe a 2% share of happiness in their boring or depressed life. So yes, I request you to please help others be in good mood.

If you don't want to do anything,  it's fine!

Have a happy reading!

I stood outside the door waiting for someone to break the news. It is not normal for me to stand here at this point but a person like me can only take so much that this kind of situations break my mind to pieces.

"She's safe!." Doctor announced and I jumped in joy. Naina looked at me with teary eyes still not believing what has happened to her sister Kainat.

"Its just appendicitis. A very common infection in Indian population." Doctor announced as we sighed with relief. Kainat visited India after 2.5years. She was in contact with us but we both knew this time, her interest to return back home is for someone else. Someone who plagued her mind since her college time.

"Also, patient had alcohol in her system. I advice you to take care of her. It was seen in very small amounts. Maybe she drunk herself out 3 to 2 days ago. We can't exactly tell that. All you need to know is that we waited for her levels to come down to zero before starting the procedure." Doctor advised. I stood shook in my place. I knew she drank alcohol but it's supposed to be occasional.

"Thank you Doctor." Naina said holding my hand. My wife knew  Kai is like a child to me, no matter what everyone says. I brought her up since the time she used to visit my place at the age of 9yrs to escape her parents fights. Seeing her taking wroth steps pains my heart. Somewhere I feel, I was responsible for her break up,  mindless behaviour and most importantly the way she isolates herself. My first mistake was hitting her on knowing she had physical relationship with her boyfriend.

"Don't start blaming yourself." Naina spoke.

"But I feel responsible." I said.

"Gosh! You are so ready to take care of our child." Naina whispered in my ear. I blushed at her comment. We both are 7 months pregnant. In our recent scan, Doctor discovered we were having twins. I never knew, waiting for the right time will give me such an amazing result.

"You know our make up sex was so hot that you sponsored infinity number of sperms for my uterus." Naina spoke giggling like a child. One thing which I couldn't keep up was her way of talking dirty after getting pregnant. I just hushed her to be quiet. Naina held her tummy and walked inside to look at her sister.

"Do you think she came back for him?." Naina asked.

" Yes." I replied not giving her much information. Naina held my arm. We all are worried about Kainat but I know she will settle this time.

"So...Mr. Since my parents are going to visit her. Take care of her. Shall we go home?." Naina questioned. Her tone didn't seem normal to me. I said no asking her to wait until they reach here.

"Oh I wanted to have some time with you!." She whined. I rolled my eyes at her horniness.

"See, Naina, I will drop you home. Feed you lunch, then return back to my college. I took half day leave. By the time you finish your beauty sleep, I will be back holding you close to me. Ok?." I spoke in a baby voice. Her eyes welled up ready to burst into tears.

"Naina..." I whispered sitting beside her silently. She pushed me away but held my hand tightly. I can't say it's pregnancy hormones, as much as my wife wants me with her.  I feel my children wants me too. Since they can't speak or touch me, my woman feels 100x emotions. Huffing, I kissed her head. I need to avoid taking leave as I planned to be with her post child birth for atleast 4 months. In this moment, I wished I had my parents with me or some close relatives who are comfortable enough to be with my wife. I did not think Kainat will get hospitalized at this point.

"I will come to college with you. " She spoke making my eyes go wide.

"No way! I let you out coz your sister underwent surgery! You are exposing yourself anymore!." I strictly said no.  Corona might have slept or gone for vacation, it doesn't mean I will not take precautions. Soon her parents arrived which led us move out of the hospital. Settling her in our home, I took my bike out to reach college. Nothing makes me happy then the fact I have someone waiting for me at home. Eager to love me to the moon and back, setting my life into a routine.

"Sir? Can I come in?." Someone called out.  I asked my peon to allow that student.

"You?." I exclaimed getting up from my seat.

"Remember me?." One of my collegue who hit on me when I was studying.

"Hi Meghana." I replied asking her to take a seat. She smiled at my surprised face.

"I heard you had quite an adventurous married life? How are you doing now?." She asked.

"Yes I did. It still is. But I am excited to look forward and go with the flow." I said smiling at her. She forwarded her marriage invitation card stating she fell in love with one of our classmate. I congratulated her hoping for the best. After her leave, my father in law called me up as Kainat wanted to talk with me personally.

I sat beside my sister in law. For me she's like a child. From the moment she entered my house to escape her parents till now I looked after her like my own.

"Hi." She greeted me with her croaked voice.

"You scared us Kai. You know this not acceptable." I said quite sad. She smiled still pipes connected to her hand.

"I am meaning to ask, what exactly made you stay with my sister all these years? How could you accept her back when she was indecisive?." She asked. I sighed. Knowing well enough that it's not about us .

"There are people in our lives who doesn't leave us alone. No matter how much we try to stay away from them, there is a connection a single thin thread between us. This makes us stay in their lives as much as they do. But one should be careful enough to find out if it's really worth it or not. " I said. Kainat chuckled at my reply.

"You confuse me bro." She whispered.

"I love Naina more than you can ever imagine kainat. Her indecisiveness was never a problem for me. Even in that state, she took a stand for herself when help was made available. She chose to take a risk. My aim was not to make her fall in love with me nor feel happy that she's here for me again. All I wanted was for her to be truthful , live for herself, enjoy the present moment by taking decision on her own. I think she pretty much sucked up my expectations." I spoke.

"And you were bound to bring back broken pieces." She concluded.

"No. For the first time, I have not tried doing anything for your sister after her divorce. It was she who realised m better person for her. M not even financially well off let alone have some family to look after her. Yet she took the decision to live the life she wanted which I just supported. Look at us now! We are happy having twins. After all these years, if someone asks me is it really worth it? I will say yes, it does. Consistency, loyalty, getting to know bottom of each other's life before settling did make us happy. These all things matter in long shot which your generation doesn't understand." I said.

"Hmmm, fast forward love?." She smiled trying to hold my hand.

"Yes. As far as your love is concerned, think about it. He has huge family, company and what not.  What do you chose? His love or his love along with his families acceptance ? Or staying happy with him is enough? What does he chose?." I questioned her.

"Guess I won't know until I get to know him personally, like you said to the bottom of each other's lives." She said making me smile.

After intense conversation with her, I reached home one hour late just to find my wife laying on bed having chips.
Kissing her protruded belly and lovable lips, I snuggled beside her like a baby changing my clothes.

"You are late. I can smell perfume on you. Ladies one." She commented. I chuckled at her heightened senses.

"Yes. One of my old flame visited me to give her marriage card. I am glad I left her." I winked. Her cheeks turned red with anger and rest followed as usual.

My life has been so good since the time I entered her life. The love and care I missed out all these years were given by her and somewhere my broken pieces of life are glued together by her love.
