The story of chapter 1

After years of being ignored by their  parents a child starts to think that they are seeing different creatures. As the child grows older, they start paying attention to the creatures they see more than the real world that has ignored them for years. They do not contact humans much.

  Eventually the parents notice that their child seems withdrawn from reality. The parents, as expected, tried to just tell the child to stop imagining shadows everywhere. Eventually as the talk of shadows continued, the talking escalated to screaming.

Soon the child began to imagine the creatures as much more malevolent beings. Just like the people in the child's life, the creatures now terrified him.

He was eventually sent to a mental hospital after the parents could no longer deal with the talk of shadowy creatures lurking around.

There the child talked about the shadows all the time. Still no one could ever really talk him out of the shadows being there.

I am not to confirm nor deny the existence of the shadows themselves. Parts of what was written in the original passage is in fact based on things I have experienced. This story can be true to a certain point. The backstory is obviously untrue, just information on the story's point of view, but the shadows may not be. Believe what you will.
