I am back my lovely friends~ I'm sorry for the late late late updates T^T My writer's block is seriously killing me (annnnnd I'm a little lazy). Also, sorry that my stories have some minor errors in them, I'll be doing my best to try and fix them. Now, let's get on with this long awaited update!

'We're off to find some murderers.' is what Hugo said, but that's easier said then done. After the whole festival thing, we told Silas that we were going on our separate paths. He understood and thanked us once more then gave us some things for our trip. We set off and began wandering about again.

Ivy's stomach rumbled and she looked at us red with embarrassment.

"You know, Ivy, we only have a limited supply of food and since your stomach seems to be a black hole, we won't have enough food for the trip." Hugo said. Ivy nodded slowly.

"I know." she said sadly. I looked at Hugo.

Just let her have a cookie.

Hugo sighed and reached into his sack.

"Fine, fine. Scar is allowing you to have a snack." Hugo said. He pulled out a bag of cookies and opened it. Ivy brightened up and looked at me. I nodded. She jumped up and took the whole bag.

"I said one snack, meaning one cookie." Hugo said taking the bag back. Ivy pouted and nibbled on her cookie.

"Thank you, Scar." she thanked me. Hugo frowned and put the bag back.

"What about me?" he asked.

"You really didn't do anything." she said and walked on. I saw a vein pop on Hugo's face.

"Why you little-" he said annoyed inching his hands for Ivy's neck. I gave Hugo a death stare.

"It's not nice to strangle little girls." Bubbles meowed and hopped onto Ivy's neck to protect it.

"Yeah, yeah." Hugo said waving hand, his hand"And what use are you for, you just free load off of us." He looked at Bubbles. Bubbles waved her tail.

"Hey, you'll need me eventually, so deal with it." she meowed,"I'm not even much of a nuisance anyways. The more the merrier, right?"

"Not always." Hugo sighed. We walked and chatted among ourselves until we saw a familiar city in the distance.

"Finally!" Ivy said,"I thought we were walking forever." We got closer and closer to the city. It was a dark place and I didn't see much people around. It felt as if I have been here before, but I let the feeling reside. The sun was beginning to set, so we needed a place to stay for tonight. We walked around silently, looking around.

"This place gives me the creeps." Bubbles said. I noticed she's been acting strangely since we've gotten here.

"You can say that again." Hugo agreed. We went inside a building. A man in a black cloak was sitting behind a desk, as soon as he saw us, he quickly stood up.

"Outsiders are not welcome." he said with a cold edge to his voice.

"We just want a place to stay." Hugo said,"We'll be leaving in the morning."

"Outsiders, are not welcome." he said more sternly. I noticed a staff with a sharp blade behind the man, leaning against the wall. I tugged on Hugo's shirt.

This place doesn't feel right.... I think we should leave.

"You don't have to tell me twice." Hugo murmured. Hugo patted Ivy's head,"Let's go Ivy, we don't seem welcome here." She pouted, sticking out her bottom lip.

"But we just got here, we only want to stay one night." she said. She looked up at the man with her irresistible puppy dog eyes. He stepped back and I saw him inch towards his staff. I grabbed Ivy's shoulder and gave the man a cold look. I turned her away and we began walking off.

"Ivy, you can't always get what you want." Hugo said.

"I know. I never did." she said quietly. I stared at her and she turned to me with a bright smile,"Oh well, we can always find another place, right Scar?" I nodded and gave her a thumbs up. She beamed at me and began skipping in front of us. Bubbles followed close by to Ivy while Hugo and I watched from behind.

"What's up with this place anyway?" Hugo asked,"It gives off a bad feeling." I watched Ivy skipping and talking to Bubbles.

Everywhere we go, we always have a bad feeling follow us, Hugo.

"True..." he said. Ivy stopped abruptly and we looked at what she was staring at. A large statue of a woman holding a harp was in the center of the mysterious town. Her eyes were closed and water flowed out from them. She wore a beautiful fluttering dress and she strummed the harp with one hand. Illuminating wings were on her back, stretched out, every last detail were engraved onto them. Despite it being a statue, it was breathtaking.

"She's pretty..." Ivy said. We walked closer to the statue. A plaque stood in front of the statue. We walked closer to read it.

Beloved Queen of Sylvania.

Protected all with her soothing song.

Disappeared without a trace.

Leaving a curse unspeakable to man.

"What do you think this means?" Hugo asked,"Leaving a curse unspeakable to man?" I shrugged. I looked up at the crying statue. My heart pained and my head swirled. I opened my mouth about to speak. I shouldn't be here... it's not safe...

"Scar?" Hugo's voice called out to me. I shut my mouth and turned to him. I tilted my head to the side.

Yes?

He shook his head.

"No, it's nothing. You were acting a little weird." he said.

Hugo, we've seen her before... the statue...

Hugo looked at me and then back at the statue.

"Let's just keep silent for now, this place changed a lot since the last time we visited." he said quietly. I nodded and closed my eyes. I opened them again and I saw Ivy smiling in front of me. She took my hand and gently led me the way.

"I'm right here for you, Scar, remember that." she said looking ahead. I held her hand tightly and we began to walk away from the statue.

"You know..." Bubbles began,"I can transform into that woman if you want." We stopped and stared at Bubbles. She licked her paw.

"Huh?" Hugo said confused. Bubbles rubbed her paw on her head.

"I've seen what she looks like. I know what to do." she said. The sun was slowly drifting away and it was getting dark. Bubbles looked up at the moon. She breathed in and she glowed. She grew taller and she turned into the beautiful woman from before. She wore an angelic white dress and stood straight and proud. A true queen. We stared at Bubbles in disbelief.

"With this... you are allowed to spend the night here, correct? That way.... I won't be a bother to you, right?" she said in an elegant voice. We stood still shocked.

"How can you accurately be the queen of this place?" Hugo asked,"Wouldn't the people be suspicious?" Bubbles didn't look phased at all. She politely put her hands together in front of her and looked at Hugo with her sharp electric blue eyes.

Soon, hordes of people in black cloaks began to come out of the buildings and alleys. They began to surround Hugo, Ivy, Bubbles, and I. Closer and closer they came, then Bubbles held up her hand. They stopped exactly as her hand was up. Bubbles looked down for a moment, her face saddened, but she then regained her composure and looked back up at us. She breathed in.

"There's..... something I haven't told you guys..." she said.

Phew! That took a while to come up with. I hoped that you guys liked it now that I got back. Hehehe, sorry for the cliffhanger. Please look forward to the next chapter~
