I'm useless...
That's my worst fear which inevitably came true.

I should just die...
Those are the words I've heard a while ago. They've slowly stopped but I still tell myself such things.

I don't believe in this fabricated reality.
In these lies people tell me. Things like 'Yeah, of course because we're friends, right?' And all that bullshit. They think I'm that naive? They don't think that I don't know the truth?

Still, I go along with this insane fantasy.
I would like to lie to myself. The lie that there is people who care about me. That I have friends.

"Hey, David!" Felix snaps me out of my thoughts. "Ya know I've always wondered what you think about when I see you in the mornings. You always seem to be out of it until I yell your name." He smiles at me.

'That fake stupid ass smile... I hate it.'

"I mean you probably think about like aliens or something, right?" He starts to peddle slower so he could listen to what I have to say. Aliens... the only thing I truly believe in. The reality that I live in is a lie. I don't like this reality so I hope for a new one.

"Yeah, usually about aliens. Why do you ask?" I reply. "Well, usually you would be talking up a storm right now about them. Is something wrong?" Felix asks looking concerned.

'Liking aliens and the supernatural doesn't define who I am. And don't give me that concerned face. I know you don't give a fuck about me.'

"No, not really. I'm perfectly fine. I'm just tired because I stayed up all night." I sigh. 'That's true though. I couldn't get a wink of sleep last night.'

"Oh, well hopefully you can sleep in class today." He peddles faster at the sight of Tobias. "Hey, guys!" He waves to us in the distance. After a few minutes, we finally get to the school. We walk in to see  Maria, Lucia, Cody, and Eric waiting for us near the classroom. "Huh, where's Noemi?" Felix looks around. "Oh, she's running late. She should be here before the class starts though." Maria says. "So... Any new theories, David?" Maria continued.

'Why do people always assume that I have new theories about aliens or lizards or the supernatural in general? Yes, I like those things but, it's just a hobby after all. I don't ask Lucia about if she has learned a new song on the guitar everyday. The thing is... I know all of them better than they know me. They don't know me. They've never taken the time to try and get to know me.'

I get cut loose from my thoughts as I feel pain rise throughout my body. I stiffen almost immediately and I can tell they noticed. "You okay, David?" They all ask. "Yeah, I just remembered I have to do something after school today." I try to take my mind off the pain. I distract myself while the others continue to talk amongst themselves. I decided to talk to Maria about my theories while Tobias listens in. Eventually, the bell rings and we say good bye to Cody, Eric, and Noemi which had only gotten there about a minute or two ago. Once in class, I decide to take a nap.
I feel my conciousness slip from reality.

I look over to David as he's sleeping since it's almost time for break. Looking closely at him, I see that his black shirt is a bit darker than usual. I grab his arm to feel it slightly damp. I ignored the dampness of his sleeve and shook him awake. Rubbing his eyes, he looks at my with dead eyes. "Why did you wake me up, Tobias? Is it break yet?" He yawns. "Yeah, it's in five." I pull back my hand to see crimson red liquid on it.
