"I'm driving!" Ava yelled while walking into the gradge holding the keys to my car keys in the air.

"Uh if we let you drive we would be dead the moment the car was on" I said walking pass her smirking and grabbing my keys from her hand.

"Hey! Really? I want to drive" Ava said with a pouty face, mouth a fine line and eye brows creased.

"No she's right ava, we would all die" Elyse said walking up behind Ava and putting a supportive hand in her sholder.

"Fine" Ava said

"But I'm driving home!" She said opening the car door.

"Nope" I say as I close the car door.

Once we are all in the car I pull out if the driveway and the 2 girls turn the music way up.

"Hey pass the aux cord!" Elyse said over the loud music we where playing. After I asked Ava and Elyse if they wanted to go shopping their energy sprang for 2 to 10 in 30 seconds.

"Okay, here" Ava said as she unplugged the cord from her phone and handed it to Elyse.

"Any request?" Elyse asked tapping her screen with her thumbs.

"How about you most favorite song ever" I said looking at her in my rear veiw mirror. A huge smile on my face.

"Okay. One second" she said with ger nose deep in her phone.

"Found it!"

Soft instruments start to play with a beat to them. (a/n: song above⬆)

Then the beat becomes slightly more tense. But I was more distracted by the lyrics.

Those words hit me hard. They kept repeating in my head.

"Ira? Hello?" Ava said holding out the 'llo' in hello.

"Uh yah?" I said back

"You ok? You kinda, spaced out." Elyse said.

"What? Oh yah! I just"

I pause

"I think ive heard this before" I lied.

"Oh okay!" She says smiling.

I think as I glance at my hands and the scars on them.

5 hours.

That's how long we shopped. But we didn't just shop. We laugh, we took pictures (a/n: picture is above ⬆) we joked, and I felt normal.

Right as I stepped out of the car 5 hours ago I realised I had forgot to change into jeans and was still wearing my shorts exposing my scar covered legs.

"No one will notice" I remember ava saying to me holding my hands in her palms with caring eyes.

"Okay, I can do this" i told ava and myself.

Now 5 hours later I was having so much fun and stopped caring about it for a while. It felt great.

We where currently back in the car (which I was driving, not ava), and on our way home.

A 'Ding' rang through the car.

"Ava? Do you mind grabbing my phone from my bag? I think I got a text." I said.

"Yah, here" ava relpied and handed me my phone.

We had just pulled into the driveway so I put the car in park and turn the key and the two girl hauled their bags inside.

Grey:
Hey you busy tomorrow?

Ira:
Depends on what you mean by busy... 😜

Grey:
How about hiking tomorrow? 11:00? Ava can come if she wants😂

Ira:
Ooooo that sounds fun.... And let me ask her...

Ira:
One sec....

Grey:
Okay😂

Ira:
she said she'd love to. Do you care if we bring 2 others? We have some friends staying w/ us from out of town....

Grey:
The more the merrier right?

Ira:
Yah I guess so....you dork😂

Grey:
Hey! I'm an amazing dork

Ira:
Suuuure... Over the top amazing😂😂 ill see you @ 11?

Grey:
Yup! I can pick you guys up....

Ira:
Okay! Thanks! See you later!

Grey:
Bye!

I smile to myself, grab my bags and start the trek up stairs.
