I was walking down our white spiraling stairs into our large family room fixing the sleeves of my shirt.

I was wearing a tight white crop top with thin black lines across it paired with black shorts and a light blue flannel.

"Ugh!" I heard Ava say as I turn into the room.

"Hey!" I yell as a magazine saying 'Catco' on the front with a blonde girl in a blue and red outfit and cape on the cover hit my face.

I look up to see Ava and Elyse sprawled out on our gray couch, heads hanging off the side.

"Ira help... We are bored" Ava said, emphasis on bored.

"Well why dont you two go get ready for the day and ill figure something out?" I said picking up the Catco magizine and setting it on the cream coffee table.

"Okay. Lets go Elyse." Ava said getting up with a head rush.

"Ugggh. Fine" Elyse says in a joking tone standing up and following Ava away to her room.

"Well how are you going to distract them?" A low voice says from behind me.

"I have no idea." I say knowing it was Nixon. He was leaning against the door frame.

"Well, why don't we go talk a walk out back and brain storm" he said moving out of the way, putting a gental hand on my upper back where my wings would be.

Once out back we started walking through our family garden. There where a wide variety of different trees, vines, and flowers. The path was made of loose cobble and flattened rocks. There was the sound of a stream nearby but my parents made it very clear not to follow or even search for it. I just assumed it was dangerous and was obedient.

We came to a clearing which had a large slap of circle shaped cement. The trees hung over it, vines of leafs and flowers draping down with a fireplace on the farside of the circle.

"Whoa" Nixon said stoping in his trackes looking up at the sun shining through the branches of the trees.

I continued walking and ended up at the biggest tree. It had vines creeping up it and was covered in pink flowers that had purple on the tips of each pedal.

"I used to come here all the time. It was my get away" I said plucking one of the beautifly unique flowers and holding it in my hand.

"What stopped you?" Nixon asked walking over, examining the flowers with me.

I hesitated to answer.

I cant tell him the truth...

"I dont know" I said, lying.

"Well what ever it was, im sure you had good reason" he said gentaly taking the flower from my hands and placing it in my loosely curled hair that rested on my shoulders and back.

The world went quiet and we sat there till a white butterfly flew between us.

"Oh!" I said stepping back on the trees stump and snapping my sandle strap.

"Oh great now ill have to buy a new one" I say picking up the broken shoe.

"Oh thats unfortunate" Nixon says smirking.

I ignore his flirty expression and have a moment of realisation.

"Thats it!" I yell with a smile on my face.

"Ill take them shopping!" I look towards the house and start walking away.

"Hold on. You can't walk back with one shoe" Nixon says walking in front of me.

"Here, hop on" he turns around so his back is to me and lowers homself a tad.

"I'm not dying you know" I say back sarcastically.

"I know Watchful but sometimes a girl needs to be treated like a princess"

"Ugh fine. But this is a one time thing you know. Ava will be furious if she sees us like this"

He turned his head attepting to look at me with a questioning look.

"Don't even ask" I say answering his silent question.

A/n: hey so every once in a while I will do small parts of the chapter in another character P.O.V. and this is one of the is chapters so here!

··· Ava's P.O.V. ···

"Ira!" Elyse and I yelled.

"Where is she!" Elyse says looking in an open bedroom.

"I have no idea Ely. She does this A lot"

"Really?" She replied

I was about to open my mouth to answer when we heard laughing from outside.

We walked over to the window and saw Nixon with Its on his back.

"Awwwh!" Elyse says next to me. The emotion on her face melting into a puddle.

"Arnt they adorable" she's says watching the two of them.

"Sure, maybe... But Ira is off limits" I say.

"What?" Elyse says a slightly shocked look on her face.

"Theres someone else for her. Trust me. They are soul mates" I say looking out the window to see the two of them walk inside.

"We'll see about that" Elyse said to me holding out her hand.

"May the best ship win" she says as we shake hands.

"Hey you guys want to go shopping?" My older sister says as she poked her head into the room.

"Yes!" We say in unison.
