Sakura sighed softly, she was sitting in her hospital bed, feeding Rose quietly.
"Miss?" A voice said, Sakura looked up to see konan,
"Konan?" The blue haired woman smiled
"You have some visitors" she said opening the door, and in came Monty and Wolf. Running over to her Monty jumped up and began to lick her face, Wolf attempting to jump up.
"Ah! Monty!! Stop it!" Sakura giggled, holding rose closer to her, Monty then whined and nudged rose gently making Sakura smile
"Good boy" looking to Wolf Sakura giggled
"Aww the poor puppy" Sakura whispered, lifting Wolf up into the bed with her and Monty.
"Good boy, you keep Rose safe" Wolf then barked and licked Rose's head. Sakura smiled, leaning back on the head of the bed,
"Sakura?" Madara asked,
"Come on in Madara" Sakura said gently. Madara then stepped in and stood at the end of the bed with a solemn look "how is he?" Sakura asked, Madara sighed
"He's stable.. For now" Sakura looked down to rose, the two dogs whining.
"What are the extents of his injuries?" She asked.
"Multiple stab wounds, straight through mostly, 5 broken ribs, internal bleeding, multiple deep gashes, he could loose his arm from the elbow down.. he's lost a lot of blood" Madara whispered.. Sakura sighed
"Can I see him?"
"No one is allowed too considering his past, mentality issues.. Only certified doctors are allowed to treat him, he'll be going into surgery in 30 minutes to stop the internal bleeding, to get shards of blade out of him.. It'll be a long surgery"
"And the chances of him making it?" She asked, Madara looked down
"Not very high considering the amount of blood he's used.. I know from experience that he won't respond well if he wakes up in a hospital bed, strapped to it" Sakura sighed
"What a both the surgery? Will be be put to sleep?" Madara shook his head
"He's going through it awake"
"What?! Why?!" Sakura exclaimed,
"Because.. The pain he's going through right now is nothing compared to what he felt in the crash.. Or that first suicidal mission he went on, he's done it before as well"
"How could the doctors let that slide?"
"By sedating him slightly, he doesn't even want pain numbers for this" Sakura sighed
"Why does he have to out himself through so much pain?" She asked herself. Holding rose close
"Who knows.. Maybe to repent for his Sins.. He endures the pain that his victims would of felt when he killed them" the room then went silent until rose began to cry again
"Don't worry sweetie, daddy'll be okay" Sakura whispered to her baby girl, hugging her gently Monty whined and got up, sniffing the air he growled and barked, before jumping off the bed and running out of the room. Sakura looked up and sighed,
"Monty! Come here!" She called, yet the dig didn't Come, getting up from the bed she laid rose down on the bed and snuggled her up in the blankets "could you watch the younger two please?" Sakura asked, Madara nodded, looking to the husky pup curl up beside Rose. Sitting on the bed he watched as Sakura left the room.
"Monty! Come here boy!" She called down the hall, she ventured down the hall, limping slightly she looked for the German Shepard frantically. Feeling the pain build, up again she heard Monty bark loudly, Sakura moved quickly to the hall only to see him...
"Mr hatake! You can't be--" the doctor exclaimed, looking at Sakura. "Geez!" Sakura smiled at him and walked over parting Monty's head gently.
"You shouldn't be out, your about to go into surgery" she whispered, her frowned
"I wanted to see my girls before I possibly die" he stated simply making her frown at him
"Why do you do that love?" He smile at her, bringing her close.
"Because, it's true" embracing her gently, ignoring the pain that bout up in his body,
"Love... Don't push yourself, go back to your room" she whispered to him, Kakashi chuckled, Monty sitting at his feet. Whining up at his master. Kneeling down Kakashi ruffled the dog's fur,
"Both of you need to relax, I've been through much worse then a few cuts"
"There not just cuts.." Sakura whispered making him frown
"Sakura" he growled grabbing her attention. Gazing up at him with a slight scared look; he took hold of her hand. "When I say I've been through a lot worse, I mean it. I was tortured, I've been in a car crashed, I've watched my teammate's die before me, I've now been on two suicidal missions, almost lost my whole arm, I've been closer to loosing something so much more important then my own life" he whispered, Sakura stared at him, tears beginning to fall.
"You can't just give your life up for someone!" Looking at her he looked down to his feet.
"Sakura.. You know you and Rose are the most important thing to me..  I'd do anything to keep you both safe, you know that" he muttered quietly, keeping her as close as he could to her.
"Love.." She whispered, bringing him close and kissing his lips gently, wrapping his arms around her waist with her hands wrapped around his neck, they brought each other closer and closer until their bodies were flush against each other. "You have to go" she whispered gently, gazing at him
"I don't want too" he grumbled. She then took intertwined their fingers and sighed
"Kakashi, you need too.. You need to live to see our baby girl grow up.." She whispered to him, gazing up at him with a pleading look..
"Fine.." He whispered. Sakura then smiled,
"I better go back to my room.." She whispered, Kakashi nodded and leaned down, caressing her forehead gently he bid her goodbye.. Watching her disappear behind the corner, he then looked down to Monty

"If I survive through this, I'm marrying that woman"
