women supporting women

"A friendship has great chances when both like different boys."

"Looks like you've got some time for Riven", Beatrix appears next to me on my way back, "Finally." "Okay, we haven't killed each other last time that we spoke to each other but why would you want me to be with Riven?"

"He's been talking about you too much", she shrugs bluntly, "Plus, Stephen's hot. I prefer him to stay single." I look at her and we both burst out in laughter. "You can have him. He's all yours", I chuckle.

I never thought Stephen would talk to me this way but I also never thought that Beatrix and I would laugh about boys together. "I think I'm going to stay away from boys anyways", Beatrix shrugs, "They can be pretty annoying."

"Yeah, you're right", I sigh, "But are girls really so much better?" Beatrix and I look at each other again and think of the time when we wanted to kill one another and laugh. "I'm sorry, you know", I finally admit, "I was angry about dad being around you so much and coming here with you. He didn't even care about Sky and I. I let it out on you and that wasn't fair."

"Yeah, I have to apologize as well", Beatrix nods, "I've hurt people, I know. I just needed to get Rosalind out so Andreas could come back. He's the only family that I have. I didn't have a chance." "I understand you but you've got Andreas, mom and I now. Sky is probably a little pissed but he'll be here, too, once he realizes he's got no choice."

POV Olivia:

"Oh, Farah, if you were only here", I sigh sitting on a bench in the teacher's garden, "You'd know what to do." I got to know her quite early by coincidence and we became friends quickly. I miss the old times.

Our time as young adults were exciting and now I know that they weren't as sad as I sometimes thought they are. Of course I knew about Saul's feeling back then. It wasn't always easy, but a lot easier than now.

"Beer?", I chuckle greeting Andreas and Saul who enter the bar once again. Interestingly, they only come when I'm working. Well, I'm working in the afternoon so it might not be planned. I don't know how to feel about them.

I feel like we know each other but we're also distant enough. Maybe they've got a girlfriend each? "Not today", Saul smiles at me and I instantly feel better. His appearance gives me such a positive feeling.

"I'm surprised", I reply bluntly and give them a soda each. "Thank you, Liv", Andreas smiles at me charmingly, "How long are you going to work today?" "If we don't have any more guests, I'll probably leave in half an hour", I answer looking around.

We only have a few guests who don't seem to stay that long. Thank god, this is going to be a calm evening. "So you're free afterwards?", Andreas continues and the way he smiles at me, is what I would prefer Saul not to see.

I've got no idea why, but these men have an impact on me. To make it more interesting, I shrug my shoulders grinning at him. If he's going to invite me, maybe I'm free after working.

"Andreas and Saul, who would have thought I would find you two in a bar", I hear a woman's voice behind me so I turn around and watch her greet the two men. She's in our age and looks like a wonderful woman.

The way she's talking to them makes me furl my eyebrows. Are they friends or what are they? Why is he so close to Saul? "The first world isn't bad at all", Andreas smiles at her. What is a first world? I thought they're from America themselves.

Are they from a different country and talk about America as a first world? Sometimes, they're confusing me. "I assume that you two are enjoying your time here", the woman replies, "You won't be here forever."

What is she talking about? Are they going to leave again? "Farah", Saul calls her and points at me, "This is Olivia. Olivia, this is Farah. She's.. our boss actually." "Hello, Olivia", Farah says and gives me her hand.

I had no idea about their mission or what Farah does exactly but now I understand them. They were protecting their secret. Still, Farah and I started a great friendship back then. The four of us went out together. Well, until they left suddenly.

"Andreas has told me that you're pregnant", Farah tells me as we sit down at the beach. I groan. "He was supposed to wait until we can tell you together!" Farah chuckles and grins at me. "He couldn't wait. He's already thinking about names."

"I like Sky for a boy but I've got no idea what we could call them if we get girls." "Them?", Farah repeats her jaw dropping. "We're having twins", I giggle and we fall into each other arms. "Congratulations, Liv! You're going to be a family", she smiles and I nod thinking about what a great time we have.

"You're back", Andreas whispers standing up as soon as I get back to his apartment. "Looks like I am", I nod slowly. "Why?" "First of all, I sleep here. And you're still our children's father and my husband. I'm not running away."

"That's one of the things that I love about you", Andreas sighs standing up to get closer to me, "You always stayed no matter how long I've been away or how I've treated you." "I'm not someone who gives up easily", I nod but let him hug me.

"I'm glad you're back, Liv. I've talked to Scar and I apologized to her. I'll talk to Sky as well. And I'm sorry for what I've done to you. I'll take all the time we still have to make up for it." "Good because I won't leave. You've got some time to make up for what happened", I chuckle and rest my head on his shoulder.
