unbelievable

"Like mother, like daughter."

Riven and I sit down at a small table and have dinner. It's been ten minutes since mom started working and I haven't seen her around. Both of us have watched every waiter and waitress but haven't seen one who looks just like the woman on the picture that Saul gave me.

"Do you think she's even here? Maybe we're on the wrong path", I mumble afraid of not finding her. I was already too excited to see her. I'm not even afraid if she would like me or not, I just want to see her.

"She'll be here, S. We just have to wait a few more minutes. Trust me", Riven says softly so I nod. "Okay", I even smile at him and force myself to be hopeful. "How about we dance?", Riven suggests as a song is played that we both like and I nod.

We both stand up and dance together slowly and closely. "That's nice. Just like good old times", Riven whispers against my forehead. I'm about to say something, when I hear the voice that I was waiting for all this time.

"Scar?", she whispers quietly but I still hear her. She sounds just like in my memories. There she is. That's my mom. This memory of her is right, Rosalind hasn't destroyed all of my memories. I turn around and look at her. "Mom?"

After realizing that it's my mom in front of me, I see the broken glass on the bottom and the receptionist hurrying towards her. She must have let the guests' drink fallen down out of shock. The receptionist harshly critisises her so I approach them and lay my hand on his shoulder discreetly.

"Sir, why don't you clean this mess up and go back to the desk and forget about this afterwards?", I suggest using my dark powers to persuade him, "Anything can happen. Olivia needs to take a few days off starting today. That won't be a problem."

I see Riven giving me a worried look but I ignore it and smile as soon as the receptionist knees down to clean up the mess. My mom looks at me shocked. "Scar, how are you.. how could you-" "Hi, mom", I interrupt her whispering and literally throw myself into her arms.

That's all I've wanted to do since finding out she's alive. I finally found my mom. "Scar-" "I'll answer all of your questions. Just.. can we go to a less crowded place?", I suggest smiling at her as soon as we let go of each other and look at each other happily but still overwhelmed.

"I.. my boss-" "I've taken care of it", I tell her seriously. She furls her eyebrows confused but she also believes me so she takes her bag and we go outside together.

As we arrive at her home she slowly takes out the key out of her bag and as soon as we enter the house, she sighs. "I never thought I would see my daughter entering my house." "I'm just so glad to finally see you, mom", I whisper and follow her to the living room where the three of us sit down.

Riven's still next to me but stays quiet knowing how important it is for me to finally talk to my mom. If anything happens, he's here. "Do you.. Do any kids live here?", I ask her directly wondering if she got any children after dad made us leave.

Mom quickly shakes her head. "When Andreas left with you two, I couldn't think about anything else. I wanted you two back and didn't even think of having new children. I couldn't just replace you so I live alone here. Somehow I always knew that I would see you again."

"I didn't know that dad left with us. I was told that you were the one who left one day", I tell her, "There's so much more that I need you to know." "I'll go for a walk outside", Riven quickly informs me before kissing my forehead and leaving us behind. He knows that we need to talk to each other alone.

"Is he your boyfriend?", mom asks as soon as we hear the door closing. "It's complicated", I mumble. Mom chuckles. "Complicated, yeah. I've been a teenager, too, once." "Let me guess, dad and Saul?", I ask her remembering how Saul gave me the picture of her, "He's given me your address and he always had your picture in his pocket."

"Oh, Saul", mom sighs smiling and nods, "Saul's been treating me like an angel and he's been a great godfather for you and Sky." "He's actually more like a dad to me", I admit and see in her face that she can't wait to find out more so I begin talking about our story, "Saul has raised Sky and I. He believed that dad was dead but it turned out that dad was hiding a decade long but now he's back."

"Thank god", she gasps, "How are they doing? Where do you all live?" "Mom, you may not believe me at first but I can prove everything I say to you so please give me a chance to show you our lives."

I begin after taking a deep breath and tell her the truth about Alfea, dad, Saul, Sky and I. I talk about Farah and Rosalind and about our powers. When I've said everything that she needs to know for now, she looks at me with wide opened eyes.

"I always knew that you were special, but Scar that's-" "It's unbelievable, I know. Please, come with us and let me prove it to you. Please, come with us and let me be your daughter and let Sky be your son like we're supposed to. You can't believe how much we wanted to find you."

Mom is skeptical at first but eventually, she agrees and starts packing her bag. She doesn't hesitate joining us for some time but she worried about seeing dad again or being at Alfea as a human being but I promised her that it won't be a problem. I've got no idea how dad or Rosalind would react about us going to the first world and bringing mom back, but I would do anything to make her be with Sky and I.
