Kairo's POV

"That concludes our final output regarding the Implementation of a Financial Management System together with our business plan. Thank you for listening. I am Kairo Ezequiel Eugenio together with my partner. Ms. Luna Aria Sandoval, ending this presentation."

We both bowed in front of our prof who was clapping. I smiled before walking down the stage,

"Great job Mr. Eugenio and Ms. Sandoval. Looking forward to partnering you up for more projects and soon official projects of the board..?" Our Prof. offered and we just smiled before shaking hands with her.

Weeks after our break up, I became myself again. Hands down and can manage my time very well. Wala nang distractions, just schoolwork, business and swimming. Kung nung sa simula walang wala ako, pagkatapos namin maghiwalay ngayon ko naman na-realize na mas okay pa lang wala siya.

"Listen everyone, before I let you out I have something to say..." sabi ng Prof. kaya nakinig kami sa kanya. "I picked 10 pairs to present this day and only the last presenter, Eugenio and Sandoval, were the ones who did it perfectly. Some of you lack information, and have not enough proof that can execute each situation or make a certain project," seryosong sabi sa amin ng Prof.

I was just chilling kasi hindi naman sa akin galit ang Prof. kung hindi, sa mga kaklase naming 'di marunong gumawa ng project nila nang maayos.

"Since only two of my students had passed this project with an uno, the rest of you will get a cinco... unless you pass the finals," she roamed her eyes around the room. "Eugenio and Sandoval, exempted na kayo sa finals so early term break kayo than the rest of the class"

The class was dismissed but instead of going home, I decided to swim. Nagpalit muna ako ng pang swimming attire ko para magtraining sa pool. Swimming became my escape, tuwing naiiyak ako, tuwing galit ako, tuwing 'di ko alam kung ano nararamdaman ko, I swim until I feel tired and just sleep.

I jumped in the pool and did my usual routine. The cold water feels nice, it soothes my body. Escaping my random thoughts by submerging myself into the water.

Sumaya naman ako habang wala si Jordyn, bihira na nga siya pumapasok sa utak ko and every time I find myself thinking about her, hindi ako nalulungkot o naiinis.

She doesn't matter to me anymore... well that's what I know and what I told myself.

Few days ago, I bought my own PC. Let's just say sobrang gastos ko for the past week pero I deserved that. I needed every distraction I could get. I played online video games, I tried learning the guitar which was pretty fun in fact.

"Eugenio!"

Narinig kong may tumawag sa pangalan ko kaya inangat ko ang ulo ko galing sa tubig at pinunasan ang mata bago tingnan kung sino iyon. Nakita ko si Luna na kumakaway kaya nginitian ko siya bago umahon sa tubig. Inabot niya naman sa akin yung towel ko kaya pinunasan ko yung tumutulong buhok ko.

Luna and I became close, after the incident in my house she said sorry about that and somehow I found comfort in her. But I didn't want to get into anything deep with her, she's more like a little sister to me kahit halos ilang buwan lang tanda ko sa kanya.

But she's really fucked up. Kasi 'yung nanay niya halos wala nang pake sa kanya since she still haven't gotten the chance to meet her father and siblings.

"You got any plans later?" tanong niya sa akin at napaisip ako.

Wala naman ata akong plano kaya baka maglaro lang ako sa pc. I was about to tell her na wala kaso naalala ko na pinapatawag ako ni lola Mommy sa resto ng Dad ko.

"Meron pero mamaya pa naman. Why? Are you planning to take me out little sis?" I teased her and she just made a face before pushing me back to the pool at natawa naman ako pag-ahon ko ulit.

"Why would I even take you out, Eugenio?" mataray niyang tanong and I scoffed.

"Hello? Kairo Eugenio? Maraming nagkakandarapa sa akin kaya magpasalamat ka na nakakausap mo ko ngayon!" sambit ko sa kanya at humalakhak naman siya ng malakas. Aba'y loko to ah!

"Thank you?" sarcastiko niyang sabi sa akin kaya binatukan ko siya.

"Labas tayo mamaya ni Chase. Libre ko na, oh di ka na niyang tatanggi." sabi niya sa akin kaya sumilay ang napaka gwapong ngiti ko. Sinong tatanggi sa libre 'di ba?

"Anong oras ba? Gusto mo ba sunduin na din kita?" I exaggerated.

"No need, baka ibangga mo pa ako," she laughed, insulting my driving.

Ang galing ko kaya magdrive!

"Punta ako sainyo, miss ko na si Tita," she told me at tumawa lang ako.

Ever since then, naging close siya sa family ko, pero kay Daddy hindi since bumalik siya sa modeling ulit. Si Mom lang 'yung work from home kaya siya lang halos lagi nakikita ni Luna.

"Wala ata si Mommy ngayon, kasama si dad. Ano sama ka pa?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Oo naman! Makikilaro ako sa pc mo kasi why not," Tumango siya.

Umiling na lang ako bago pumasok sa locker room para magpalit ng damit. Pagkalabas ko ng locker room ay dala na ni Luna yung gamit ko. She's like another little sister I could ask for. Gusto ko tuloy ng bagong kapatid.

Mom, Dad, baka naman. Kahit ako na magpaaral dyan kay bunso, kidding!

I drove back home at nang nakarating kami sa bahay, wala kaming taong naabutan doon. We have the house alone for ourselves.

"'Di ka ba natatakot kapag mag-isa ka lang sa mansyon niyo?" tanong ni Luna sa akin

"Why would I be scared? God, Luna. I'm turning 19 next month. 'Di na 'ko bata para matakot." Singhal ko and she just laughed.

Hindi ko naman siya masisisi, maraming kwarto dito sa mansyon at malaki din ang recreational space sa labas.

Wala na kaming pasok ni Luna simula Monday kaya need namin magplano ng mga gala since term break naman. Pero sa pagkaka-alam ko, next next week may family dinner kami kasama sila Lola Mommy, Mom, Dad and their parents.

At naisip ko na imbitahin ko si Luna sa family dinner since okay naman sila ni Mommy.

"Next next week may family dinner kami catch up and tungkol sa pagpasa ng lahat ng companies ng Eugenio sa akin. You should join us, try and bring your Mom too!" I invited her at alanganin naman siyang ngumiti bago tumango.

"Rain check muna, baga may gawin ako next week eh."

We stayed in my room basically doing nothing, she played games on my pc for over 2 hours until she got bored. While I just laid in my bed scrolling through my phone.

"Tara na alis na tayo, sunduin na natin si Chase," sabi niya sa akin at tumango ako bago kunin jacket ko tsaka susi sa bed side table.

We drove to Chase's apartment at naka-ready naman na agad ang gago. 'Kala mo nga galing bar kasi yung porma pang-BGC boys na tambay. Natawa ako sa sarili kong inisip at sumakay na muli sa kotse. Nag-away pa si Luna at Chase sa kung sino ang uupo sa shot gun seat at ang nanalo naman ay si Chase kaya wala akong magagawa doon.

Pumunta kami sa mall na may barcade, we only plan to get a few drinks tapos bumili na lang ng kung ano ano sa mall. Hindi muna kami dumiretso sa barcade instead we went to H&M kasi may bibilhin daw si Chase. I was just supposed to do window shop pero ang nangyari, napabili ako ng mga bagong pants at statement shirts.

Nadaan din kami sa Louis Vuitton at may nakita akong maliit na bag na plano kong ibigay kay Mommy kaya binili ko na lang din yon. Nakarating din kami sa nike outlet at grabe... Napagastos ako ng 7k para sa isang sapatos.

A few minutes passed at nandito na kami ngayon sa barcade. Dumiretso ako sa basketball area and we three made a bet. Whoever has the lowest points will drink 3 shots.

We lined up on each machine, we drank our welcome shot before playing the game. In the end, Chase lost to Luna by 3 points and I was ahead of them by 8 points. Ako matatalo sa basketball? End of the world na pag nangyari 'yon!

"Dude, ang bobo mo naman!" I insulted Chase before chuckling, "Natalo ka ng babae p're at yung babaeng 'yon si Luna pa!" dagdag ko pero sininghalan lang ako ni Chase bago inumin yung tatlong shots.

"What are your plans after college?" tanong sa akin ni Luna and to be honest I don't know. Excluding the fact that I own or should I say will own the 7 branches of Eugenio's cuisine I have no plans.

I actually never planned my life without Jordyn. Kasi kasama na siya sa lahat eh, pero si gago, bumitaw. I can't blame her though, I don't know how to manage my time properly to the point where she got tired and it's my fault.

I planned to propose to her after graduation... because I thought we would last forever. But I guess they were right, there was no such thing as forever. In fact, I already bought a promise ring but yeah, not everything goes the way you plan it.

"I don't know. Managing 7 branches of my dad's resto is already a hassle. But I will most likely build my own company after I get my own experience,'" I answered her and she nodded.

"Don't worry, Luna. You can be my business partner in the near future," I told her and winked.

We chilled and drank beer for a while before we decided to leave the barcade dahil 'di naman namin plano magpakalasing ngayon. Natrauma na ako nung gabing yon... oo trauma. I shrugged remembering the dirty things I did before turning my attention to the right.

I stopped to see my sister eating at a restaurant with someone, a girl in fact. I bet that is her new girlfriend. She's been talking nonstop to this girl for about 2 weeks now and how do I know this? Tuwing matutulog ako maririnig ko siyang tumatawa sa kabilang kwarto and it annoys me in some sort of way.

Hindi naman sa bitter ako pero parang ganoon na nga. Paano kasi, kung sino pa talaga bunso siya pa may love life. Sana all! Pero 'di naman na 'yan ang habol ko ngayon, self love lang sapat na. I'm too handsome to get my heart broken again.

"Kapatid mo yan ah!" sabi ni Chase and I nodded. "Sino kaya kasama?"

Nagkibit balikat lang ako. Bahala na siya sa buhay niya kung gusto niya ipakilala sa amin. 'Wag niya sana gayahin ang ginawa ko na itinago.

Napansin kong nanginginig ang kamay ni Luna kaya hinawakan ko kamay niya, "Bakit ang lamig ng kamay mo?" tanong ko pero hindi siya sumagot.

Naglakad na kami ulit at hinubad ko 'yung jacket ko para isinuot ko kay Luna. Nagulat siya sa gesture na ginawa ko kaya natawa ako sa facial expression niya. Inakbayan ko siya hanggang sa makapunta kami sa kotse ko.

"Hatid ko na ba kayo pauwi o sasama pa kayo sa akin sa resto?" tanong ko sa kanila.

"Hatid mo na 'ko, Kuya driver," asar sa akin ni Chase kaya sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. Tarantado pala 'tong ugok na 'to ah.

"What if hampasin ko utak mo?" sarkastikong tanong ko sa kanya at natawa naman siya.

Hinatid ko sila sa kani-kanilang bahay at nang i-drop off ko si Chase sa kanila ay humirit pa siya.

"Padeliver na lang po nung steak from the cuisine, thanks manong grab driver!"

Binaba ko ang bintana ng kotse at pinakyuhan siya, "Ulol!"

I drove off to the restaurant and there were so many people, may discount ba ngayon at hindi ako na-inform? Pagkapasok ko roon, it was like a jungle. People were dirty and drinking everywhere, there was even broken glass on the floor and other trash.

Mayroon sigurong tarantadong nagbook ng buong resto at nag decide na magparty. Nakita ko si Lola Mommy, obviously stressed sa kung anong nangyayari kaya nilapitan ko siya.

"Oh dear, I'm glad you came. We were supposed to discuss some things but it's a mess here in the restaurant and we can't talk to the people properly. Can you help me?" sabi niya at tumango naman ako.

Pumasok ako sa office at kinuha yung isang mic at speaker. I plugged it in and there was a static sound which caught everyone's attention.

"Hello everyone," Seryoso kong sambit and I felt like I had so much power, and my aura was intimidating. This is what my father does noon? If yes, then it's cool!

"It has come to my attention that Mr. Nevado booked the whole restaurant this evening?" I asked calmly but strictly. Agad naman sila tumango.

"And may I ask who among you is Mr. Nevado?" I asked once again at lahat sila nagsi-upo pwera na lang sa isang matanda na nasa late 40's na siguro and damn that man looks wasted.

"Ako 'yooon.. bakit?" lasing na tanong sa akin and I sighed heavily before speaking.

"I will only ask you once, please leave our restaurant. You will pay double because of the damages you have done to the restaurant." utos ko and he slammed his hands on the table.

"At bakit ko naman yon gagawin? Sino ka ba para sundin ko?" tanong niya, dinuduro ang mukha ko. "Bata ka lang at wala kang karapatang diktahan ako!"

I smirked before walking towards him slowly while unbuttoning the buttons of my shirt.

"I am Kairo Eugenio, owner of the restaurant. I am flattered because you said that I'm a child but I'm offended because you are underestimating me," I glared at him. "Now I'm telling you, we'll charge you double for the damages you all have caused or I'll do this the hard way, hmm?"

Mukhang natakot naman na ata siya dahil napa-atras na siya sa akin. Lahat ng guest niya ay nagsi-labas na and we charged this man's credit card 75 thousand pesos. He deserved to get broke because of his fucking attitude. Had the audacity to stand up to me.

After makalabas lahat ng tao, sinarado ng staff ang pinto.

"I'm apologizing for the people that caused ruckus today, rest assured that we won't allow people with that kind of attitude to step on my restaurant," sabi ko sa staff at ngumiti sila bago magsimulang maglinis.

Lumapit ako kay Lola Mommy at pumalakpak siya bago ako yakapin.

"Great job, Kai! You are raised well in the family of business and I'm proud." sabi niya sa akin at natawa na lang ako bago mapakamot ng ulo dahil nahiya na. I felt so proud of what I did.

"Mukhang wala naman na akong kailangan ituro o sabihin pa sa iyo dahil handa ka na! Bago ka magbirthday, nasa kamay mo na ang buong Eugenio's Cuisine," she told me and I hugged her again.

After that I went straight home at nakita ko doon so Mommy na nakangiti sa akin pagka-pasok ko. "What's with the smile, Mom?" tanong ko.

"Oh nothing, I just saw you manage the hectic crowd there in your father's restaurant. And I must say, you did really get his attitude and seriousness when it comes to work." pagpuri niya sa akin.

I laughed before handing Mom the designer bag I bought for her. Her eyes lit up from joy and kissed me on the cheeks. We talked about other things before I went into the kitchen where I saw Hiara talking to her girlfriend again.

"Oh sino yan? Girlfriend mo?" tanong ko sa kanya at nagulat pa siya sa presensya ko.

"Oo, bakit? May angal ka?" tanong niya at pinitik ko naman tainga niya.

"I'm still your Kuya so have at least some respect! 'Pag bad influence 'yang babae mo, papaghiwalayin ko kayo," saad ko.

Umirap siya sa akin bago lumabas sa sala kung nasaan sila Mommy at daddy, I followed her using my eyes. She first hesitated to speak to tell us something but she pulled herself together.

"Mom, Dad, Kuya... Ipapakilala ko sa Linggo 'yung girlfriend ko."
