Kairo's POV

I woke up when I felt her move on the bed. I opened my eyes and I saw her brushing her hair ready to prepare for the morning.

"Where are you going, babe?" I asked her. "I'm going to cook breakfast." She answered.

I checked the time and it was 4:30 am. Agad ko naman hinila si Jordyn pabalik sa kama.

"It's too early, mahal ko." I said as I hugged her by the waist. Wala naman siyang nagawa at niyakap na lang din ako pabalik hanggang sa makatulog kami ulit.

We both woke up at 8:45 am para mag prepare. We decided not to eat breakfast dahil tinatamad kami parehas magluto. We'll just eat at the buffet in Palawan.

Natapos na kami mag gayak and she wore a simple white see through blouse and black denim shorts and underneath it is a red two piece bikini.

Umalis naman na din kami dahil mapapagalitan kami ni Lola pag nalate kami ni Jordyn.

While we were on our way to pick up Jordyn's Mom may pumasok naman na tanong sa isip ko.

"Okay lang sa'yo na makasama yung Daddy mo?"

She looked at me confused, "I thought he's too busy to come?" I shrugged.

"Hahabol daw siya. His flight is at 3 pm." I answered at tumango lang siya, not answering my question.

Nang masundo na namin si Tita Lia, dumiretso na kami sa airport. Nandoon naman na si Chase at nagtanguan naman kami at pansin kong nagiiwasan sila ng kapatid ko. That's unusual, alam ko medyo close sila dahil kay Luna eh.

Ano kaya meron sa kanila?

"Lia! Oh my gosh, you aged like fine wine." My Mom approached Jordyn's Mom at nakipagbeso. Ngumiti naman si Tita bago sumagot.

"Oh come on, Kia. You look better than me." Tita said at nagtawanan naman sila bago mauna pumasok sa private jet.

Naroon naman na silang lahat at halos kami na lang ang hinihintay. Hinila ko si Jordyn sa pinaka dulo at umupo na kami.

If you're wondering why I chose to be at the back.... it's for you know, just in case... hehe.

I thought we were about to take off when someone entered. Agad naman ako nagulat dahil nakita ko siya ulit.

"Ninang Stelle!" Agad ako lumapit para yakapin siya. Sumunod naman si Jordyn.

"You've grown so much, Kairo. How long has it been since I last saw you?" She asked with an accent. Ilang taon na din kasi siya nasa London, she's been handling a restaurant and a clothing line in collaboration with my restaurant and Mom's clothing.

"Ninang, my girlfriend, Jordyn." Pagpapakilala ko rito at ngumiti naman ito sa kanya at nakipagbeso.

"We'll catch up later, darling. I just landed a few hours ago from London, my head hurts so I need to rest." Sabi nito sa akin bago umupo sa isang pwesto.

We slept the whole flight and we eventually landed in Palawan. It wasn't my first time here. We used to go here once a year noon but stopped when I had to focus on the business.

It's great to be back here.

"Ma'am Kia and Sir Ashler! It's good to have you back with your family." One of the staff greeted them. My Mom talked to them first before giving us our keycards for our hotel room.

Of course, may sarili kaming hotel room ni Jordyn. Medyo nagtaka nga lang ako na magkasama si Hiara at Chase sa iisang room, pero buti na lang nag offer si Luna na samahan silang dalawa.

Hindi rin naman ako papayag na silang dalawa lang magkasama. Kahit marunong ng boxing si Chase baka bugbogin ko siya kapag nalaman ko lang na may gawin siya kay Hiara.

"Okay, everyone settle in their hotel rooms. Let's meet each other at the lunch buffet in an hour." Mom said before we went our own ways. I took Jordyn's bag to our suite at grabe ang ganda dito. I missed being here, and I'm glad that she's with me.

"Are you tired?" She asked while fixing our luggage. Humiga lang ako sa kama at hindi siya sinagot. I felt a warm embrace from the side and I knew it was her. I kept my eyes close as she reached for my hand to play with it, giving the center of my palm a few little circles.

"You're so tense, Kai. Relax. Ano pang purpose nitong weekend vacation kung hindi mo 'yun gagawin?" She asked and I opened my eyes and turned to her.

I cupped her face before kissing her. She removed my shirt and was about to remove my pants when I stopped her, leaving her with a disappointed look. I laughed at her face and gave her a kiss on the neck and sucked on it a little leaving a mark.

"Hey! Bakit mo nilagyan ng marka?" She asked with her brows furrowed.

"Kasi later you'll be down at the beach wearing your cute little bikini and other guys will look at you," I glared at her and she chuckled. "That's the only way I can tell those assholes that you are mine." I said in a deep voice.

After 30 minutes I changed into a white loose polo shirt with three buttons unbuttoned. Hindi naman na nagpalit si Jordyn pero nagdala ng small bag to put in our belongings like wallet, phone, and sunscreen.

Before we even went down to join the family we took a lot of pictures on the balcony and mirror photos. Agad naman din ako nag post sa social media ko ng pictures namin and surprisingly the people already have accepted the fact that I have a girlfriend which I'm happy about.

Pagkababa namin sa buffet nahagip agad ng mata ko ang table ng aming pamilya. I saw Chase and Hiara talking to each other in the corner and I could tell that Hiara was afraid and Chase was pissed.

"Do you think that my sister and Chase have something to do with each other?" I whispered to Jordyn and she looked at the direction I was looking at agad naman siyang nagtaka.

"That's nonsense, babe. They're probably just teasing each other," She said as she walked towards them. Agad naman nanlaki ang mata ni Chase nang makita kami at tila binuhusan siya ng tubig at hindi makagalaw.

"Are you okay, Hiara?" Jordyn asked and smiled at her. Agad naman tumango ang kapatid ko sa kanya bago umalis. Bumalik sila sa lamesa at katabi nilang dalawa si Luna. Napansin ko lang na parang si Luna ang nagbabalance sa kanilang tatlo eh, or maybe because they spend a lot more time with each other nowadays and I'm cool with that.

We were all seated at the table, eating our lunch. "Ano ang gagawin natin today?" I asked.

"Hmm, we could go chill down at the beach today. Maybe watch the sunset?" Mom winked at me and I heard ninang Stelle laugh.

"I guess the whole family loves the sun huh?" She said and we all chuckled. "I remembered your Mom and Dad, Kairo. I was a kid back then but I still remember the times when they tease each other, pero hindi ko malilimutan na their escape was to hold each other when the sun sets and when the sun rises." Pagkukwento niya at umakbay naman si Dad kay Mom. Alam ko naman na okay lang kay Dad na pagusapan si Dad Elliot eh.

"Ikaw, Kai? Why do you love to watch the sun set and rise?" Tanong sa akin ni Lola and I looked at Jordyn. She was peacefully eating before she met my gaze.

"I don't have an exact answer to that. But I just know that I love the thought of starting a new day and ending one with her." I answered and they all looked at us in awe.

"Come one, everybody up! Enjoy the beach while we're here and spend time with each other. Ngayon lang ulit nagtugma ang mga schedule natin kaya let's live in the moment." My Dad said before he guided us out of the buffet. Lahat naman kami ay dumiretso na sa beach.

"Later dinner we'll have a boodle fight," Lola informed us at tumango ako sa kanila. Ninang Stelle and Tita Lia were there fixing our cottage while Mom and Dad were grilling some food.

Us five took group selfies and took photos by partner. "Chase, Hiara picture naman kayong dalawa oh." Sambit ni Luna at agad naman kumunot noo ko.

"Bakit kailangan nila magkaroon ng picture together?" Tanong ko at medyo nag panic saglit si Luna pero buti na lang sinagot ako ni Hiara.

"We're best friends," Hiara smiled but I knew it was a fake one. "Right, Chase?" She turned to my best friend at tumango siya before smiling at the camera.

I helped Jordyn put on some sunscreen before we dipped in the ocean. The water was awfully cold at alam kong nilalamig si Jordyn. I held her close by the waist. Dahan dahan kami naglalakad palalim sa dagat and I saw her smile while holding my hand.

"I could never get tired of staring at your gorgeous eyes and lips." I told her and she just laughed before holding my shoulders.

"You're really drop dead sexy," She said in a flirty voice and I bit my bottom lip before looking away. Kinikilig ako eh.

"If I were to ask you to marry me right now, would you agree?" I asked her and she looked at me with wide eyes. I tucked a few strands of her hair covering her face to the back of her ear. "I don't have a ring right now, Jordyn. Don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to marry me right now. Especially not in the middle of the ocean."

She laughed before hugging me, her head being close to my heart. "My heart is pounding, can you feel it?" I asked her and she nodded.

"It's beating really fast," She said before looking back at the coast kasi tinatawag na kami. Nakita naming dalawa si Tito Theo na kararating lang and he was talking to Jordyn's Mom.

"Come one, let's go. You don't have to talk to your dad if you don't want to. Remember, I'm here by your side, okay?" I told her and she nodded.

Nang makabalik kami sa dalampasigan ay agad ko kinuha ang cover up ni Jordyn at pinulupot 'yon sa bewang niya.

Lumapit kami kay Tita Lia at Tito Theo. Tito Theo was smiling at his wife when he turned to his daughter. Agad naman nagbago ang expression nito.

I could tell that Jordyn was hurting behind those eyes of hers but she still managed to force a small smile. "Hi Dad."

Lumapit naman si Tito Theo sa kanya at nagyakapan silang tatlo. I smiled, she deserves this. A happy family.

"I'll take you to my house, Lia. Dito ka na sa Manila tumira." Jordyn's Mom looked at Tito Theo with a unsure look pero pumayag naman siya.

We eventually ended the day with us enjoying each other's company.

The next day we were out to go snorkeling. Sabi ni Jordyn first time niya lang daw kaya kinakabahan siya. I just told her that I'll guide her and I won't let her drown.

Hawak ko ang waterproof camera namin and I was taking videos of her enjoying herself. She was so amazed with the beauty of the ocean. Nasa may coral reef kami ngayon at marami siyang nakikitang isda.

After that we ate a lot of seafood with the family and I might say it was the most wonderful feeling. 'Yung kumpleto kayo ng pamilya kasama ang ibang kaibigan.

After our island hopping, nagbihis na si Jordyn ng gray sweatpants at white crop top before she fell asleep. I took that as an advantage to go to Chase's hotel room to check the dogs.

"Mamaya mo na gagawin 'di ba?" Tanong niya sa akin at tumango ako. "Bakit kasi hindi ka na lang nag propose? Gano'n lang din naman 'yon pre." He said before getting the Siberian husky in his arms and gave it to me.

"Bakit ba nagmamagaling ka pa? We're both clearly not ready for a wedding." I scoffed.

He looked at the puppy, "What are you going to name the dogs?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulders.

"Kung ano gusto ni Jordyn." Tipid na sagot ko. "Nakaready na ba yung rooftop?" I asked him.

"Yes, Tita and your sisters fixed the place. It's already ready and set, 'yung Dad mo rin naglagay na ng camera doon to capture the moment." He informed me and I nodded before I left the room.

I'm going to surprise her tonight before dinner.

I took a warm shower and wore a simple black statement shirt and denim jeans.

"Wake up Jordyn, I'm going to show you something." I told her at nagunat naman siya bago tumayo at nagsuklay. Naglagay rin siya ng pulbos sa kanyang mukha at kaunting lipstick.

I gave her a blindfold as I guided her to a hidden spot at the back of the hotel. May maliit doon na pond at mini waterfall. Mom arranged some fairy lights and a picnic.

"You can remove it now," I told her and when she removed the blindfold agad naman siya namangha sa nakita niya.

"What is this for, love?" She asked as she took photos of the place. We even took a few photos before we sat down on the picnic mat.

"A way to tell that I appreciate you," I said as I kissed her. For a few minutes we were cuddling and talking about random stuff until Chase came to us with Hiara holding the two puppies.

Takang nilingon naman ako ni Jordyn bago lumiwanag ang mata niya. Inabot niya ang Golden retriever and I got the Siberian husky.

"Hi babies, you two are so cute." She said as she petted the two dogs. "Kairo, dapat hindi ka na bumili ng aso. Paano kung 'yung future kids natin allergic sa aso?" She asked and I laughed before ruffling her hair.

"Then I'll take the dogs to my parents, for now we'll have them at home until we get kids." I said before we went silent. I sighed before I reached for my pocket and showed it to her.

Natulala naman siya sa hawak ko, binuksan ko ito and it showed a ring.

This is the ring that Dad Eli gave my Mom for a promise. My Dad did promise my Mom for a happy life but some shit happened, it's okay though. Masaya naman siya kay Dad Ashler eh, kaya masaya na rin ako.

"Akala ko ba you won't ask me to marry you?" She asked while observing the ring and I chuckled before I reached for her hand as I placed the ring onto her finger.

"I can't ask you to marry me yet... hindi pa ako handa para sa kasal," I said while encircling her arms and pulled her close.

"Kaya isang pangako muna ang ibibigay ko sa'yo." I smiled before giving her a warm tight hug.

"Thank you for choosing to stay with me, Kai," she said while observing the ring on her finger. "Thank you for being patient with me kahit ang hirap kong intindihin minsan."

I gave her a soft kiss, "You don't have to thank me, babe. I love you."

Napako naman ulit ang atensyon ko sa kanyang mata na nakakalunod.

Sa tuwing titingnan ko ang mga mata niya lagi ako natutulala. She has a whole galaxy in her eyes and a beautiful universe in her mind.

I'm so damn lucky to have her.
