Kairo's POV

I'm currently driving home from Jordyn's dorm with a huge smile on my face. Hindi ko alam kung dahil ba nasabi ko na kay Jordyn yung nararamdaman ko or kung dahil kami na because of our bet. Even so, if someone's gonna ask me, I'm serious about being in a relationship with her.

I actually didn't just come up with that idea as a consequence just for fun. I want us to be in a relationship dahil alam kong doon naman na din patungo kung ano man ang sinimulan namin; she loves me and hell, I love her more. But the fear of us hurting each other is still there and I don't think it'll ever leave me alone.

Ilang minuto lang ang lumipas ay nakarating na din ako sa bahay. I parked my car in our garage and went inside our house. It's already 6 pm kaya naman pagkapasok ko sa bahay ay nasa kusina silang lahat.

"Hello fam!" Bati ko sa kanila at nginitian nila ako. Mukhang may pinag-uusapan sila na related sa akin kasi yung ngiti ni daddy nakakapangasar. Oh no, I know something's up. Tinabihan ko si Hiara pagkatapos kong ayusin ang gamit ko.

"What's up? Judging the looks of dad, I know that you three planned something again." I told them and squinted my eyes at my Mom. Kasi usually they kept on teaming up against me when it comes to useless shits pero, I'm cool with it because it's like a bonding for us.

"Kailan mo pakikilala girlfriend mo 'nak?" tanong ni dad sa akin at bigla naman akong namula. I blushed because I remembered that Jordyn and I are already together. Wala lang, I didn't really expect us to actually be together despite the fact that I don't like commitment but yeah, I guess my Mom was right. I can never really determine my future, I just have to live every single moment.

"I'll find the right time but for the meantime, we'll focus on our studies before we really get deeper in the relationship" sambit ko sa kanila at tumango naman sila pero hindi pa rin nawala ang ngisi sa mukha ni dad. "Ano ba meron?" diretsong tanong ko at tinabihan ako ni daddy.

"Kailan yung term break niyo? At ilang araw yung term break niyo?" sunod sunod na tanong sa akin ni dad. Sinagot ko naman agad yung mga tanong niya. "Next week, monday. 1 week yung break, why?" I raised an eyebrow to them.

"Well then you and her are in luck, we got you tickets to Cebu!" Sigaw ni Mommy at halos mapatalon ako. Kahit kailan talaga malakas sumigaw, paano pa kaya pag... nevermind.

Agad naman ako nagtaas ng kilay, please enlighten me.

"Since ngayon ka lang namin nakita na ganito, we decided to support you with your relationship because it's your first time being or feeling lov." sabi ni Mommy at natawa naman ako bago abutin yung tickets na hawak ni Hiara.

"Thank you, Mom and dad. I'm guessing our hotel is already ready?" tanong ko and they all nodded. "I'll tell her tomorrow or the day before, thank you for this guys. I really appreciate it" sabi ko bago halikan sila sa pisngi.

Nagpaalam na ako na aakyat na ako sa kwarto ko. Pagkahilamos ko ay humiga na ako sa kama ko.

I called Jordyn and she immediately picked it up, "Hi babe." I said in a sexy voice and I heard a squeak at the other line, what the hell? Kinikilig ang gago. "Hoy, kinilig ka naman agad. I called to ask if you have any plans for this term break." sambit ko sa kanya at umiling naman siya. "Why are you taking me out, babe?" tanong niya at nagkibit balikat ako bago ngumsi.

"Maybe yes, maybe no." sabi ko sa kanya at ngumiti mag-isa. "Sleep, babe. Get your beauty rest, mahal ko." sabi ko sa kanya and she agreed. We talked for a few more minutes before ending the call. Diretso tulog na din naman ang ginawa ko.

After a few days, it was a usual day with me and Jordyn. "Go babe, you can do your reporting. Good luck, I love you!" sabi ko sa kanya bago siya bigyan ng halik sa kanyang pisngi. Mayroong nagtitinginan sa amin pero wala kaming pake. I also made it clear na walang magpipicture sa amin or magpopost without our permission.

After a few minutes of letting her go, may biglang nakabangga sa akin, I was about to not give a fuck about them but I saw a familiar face. Nang magtama ang mata namin parehas kaming nagulat.

"Chase?" sabi ko at bigla naman sumilay ang ngiti sa kanyang mata. It was my friend from elementary school. Lumipat nga lang siya ng ibang lugar kaya nagkahiwalay kami.

"Kairo! What's up man, it's been forever." nakipagkamay siya sa akin at ginawa ko din naman yon. He looked over Jordyn who was currently walking towards their building at tinaasan ko naman siya ng kilay.

"Dude, is that your girlfriend?" tanong niya sa akin at tumango naman ako.

Does he have any problem with that?

"Why? Do you know her?" I asked and he nodded. I have a lot of questions and I need answers.

"Highschool friend ko doon sa probinsiya, sinundan ko siya dito pero ibang university ako nakapasok. Ngayon lang ako nakabisita, and I was supposed to walk up to her but she's changed... kinda," he said before looking back at me.

"What do you mean changed?" I asked again and he looked nervous, not knowing how to answer.

"She used to... nevermind. Basta she was unsure of everything and can't commit because of her thoughts that are not most likely to happen," he answered. I guess I still don't know the whole Jordyn. She's still not transparent to me, and I want her to open up to me.

"What time's your first class?" he asked and I checked my phone to see my schedule.

"Afternoon class lang meron sa akin ngayon, bakit?"

"Come with me sa coffee shop, let's catch up," he suggested and I agreed. Wala naman akong gagawin eh, so why not end my time here?

We arrived at the coffee shop and I ordered a macchiato and a cookie before sitting in front of Chase. "What's the feeling of dating the famous Jordyn?" tanong niya sa akin at nagtaka ako. She's not famous, or is she? She doesn't like people talking about her and being in a crowded place. It's kinda off, it's possible but not likely.

"By the looks on your face, you don't know anything about her from highschool. Let's just say that her name is famous for being the most gorgeous in town. Siya lang kasi yung maputi and attractive." he told me and I can't blame him for that. Every guy must've fallen head over heels for her.

"Dating her is like living the dream." Maikling sagot ko and he laughed because of that so I made a blank expression. "Look, hear me out. She was my best friend and I know her more than she knew herself." He told me and I motioned him to talk.

"She's not going to be the easiest girl to love, you're probably gonna go through hell with her. Her insecurities are very ridiculous, even the slightest things napapansin niya. She has so many expectations na hinihiling niya na alam mo at yung trust issues niya ay sobra pa sa pasobra ng rebisco. She has anger issues so wag mo nang try galitin if you don't want to break up because of her being mad about something. Jordyn is not logical sometimes but you have to understand her; and to let you know, she's going to cause a lot of problems and struggles." He paused for a second thinking of other things to say to me. I was just listening to him because it's about Jordyn.

"Selosa yon pero di lang halata, kaya kapag nakita ka non na may kausap na ibang babae or acting all weird she'll over analyze everything. Minsan makikita mo siyang tarantado minsan gago. Yes there will be times where she is very complicated. You're gonna be annoyed, you're gonna be frustrated, mararamdaman mo yung pagod. Pero sa kabila ng kanyang kapintasan, she has a good heart. If you can stick with her through all challenges she puts you through, everything will be worth it." Sabi niya sa akin at ngumiti.

I really don't see any flaws. I'm blinded by it because I tend to focus on her and only her. I don't give a damn about no one's opinion. Just her.

"You used to like her, do you?" I asked and he laughed awkwardly before scratching the back of his neck.

"I tried courting her but she said she can't." he answered. "Why?" I asked. "Because she was in a complicated situation..." sagot niya sa akin at tumango naman ako, I don't want to force him for answers so I chose to stop asking.

"Ikaw, kala ko ba ayaw mo mag girlfriend?" he suddenly asked and I sighed before answering.

"There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment." Simpleng sagot ko at parang tanga si gago pumalakpak which caught other people's attention. Great, more exposure.

"Siya yung biglaan," sabi ko kay Chase and he just fixed his hair before turning his full attention to me.

"Wala siya sa plano. Wala sa hinagap, wala sa akala. Hindi ka sa panaginip nagmula dahil hindi yun uso sa akin. Hindi ko rin siya inaasahan. Honestly, I didn't expect her to be the first and hopefully last love I get." I paused to sip on my coffee.

"Siya na wala sa takbo ng bawat araw pero parang araw, parang dilaw niyakap siya ng pagkatao kong ayaw sa ganto." I continued while staring at my phone wallpaper which was her wearing my hoodie. I suddenly felt a feeling of missing her.

I looked at the time and it was already 11 am. I have to pick up Jordyn, tapos na klase niya for the morning. "I have to go now, it was nice to see you again." paalam ko sa kanya.

Pagbalik ko ng campus ay nahagip agad ng mata ko si Jordyn. Naglakad ako papunta sa akin and my arms automatically wrapped around her as the tears slowly fell down from my eyes.

"I don't want to lose you my home."
