Conflicts

The first few weeks for Alyssa wasn't a hard time, though she needed some time for adjusting to her new class, and getting to know more about her classmates.

Alyssa POV
From what I've heard, the girl who got my attention was called Sonya. I mean she isn't a really bad person, but from my sources, she treats the ones she hate like complete trash, I'd better not get on her bad side....
Suddenly, I heard someone call my name? Huh? Did I do something wrong?
"Alyssa, can you come out and read your speech to the class please?" The teacher asked again, with slight annoyance in his voice.
Oh well, here goes nothing~

Narrator's POV
As Alyssa made her way to the front of the classroom, she felt 34 pairs of eyes stare at her, but she ignored it. As she got to the front, she took a deep breath and started her speech, while speaking in fluent English
(A/N: Cuz this is set in a place where English isn't their first language)
The students were shocked at her accent and her expressions, but slowly their views changed from shock to being mesmerised and engrossed into Alyssa's speech. Except for one person though-

Sonya

"Omg did you hear here voice today? It's like, so weird." Sonya spat to her friend, Katherine
"Maybe she can't help it? I don't think she's faking it...." suggested Katherine, Sonya just shook her head.
"I don't even care the slightest bit, but her accent- it's so goddamn weird, she should just shut her 'not- so- pretty' face and loose that accent," Sonya continued, with a mischievous smirk on her face

"And someone ought to teach her, to be in her place. "

One week later
Alyssa came to school in her same old attitude. As she went to the office to get the key to unlock classroom, boy was she clueless for the treat she was about to have.
As she made her way into the classroom, she saw her table was placed with a white folded flower, and Alyssa knew what's up. As white flowers are often to symbolise one's death or tragedy and in this situation, someone was trying to indicate that she wanted Alyssa to kill herself.

'But why?' She thought to herself
"Maybe it's another meaning.... friendship i guess?" She muttered, trying to comfort herself and lighten up as well as she motioned to put away the paper flower into her folder, but things keep happening weirder snd weirder by every passing day. Everyday, Alyssa would receive more flowers, from one to two, two to three...until it went all the way to sixteen, what she didn't expect to get was waiting for her-

A threat letter, written on her desk.
