Heading into a new town, one where Sam had more connections and hopefully to get more news about that outlaw that was constantly occupying Scarlett's mind. The brown hatted man had taken so much for that his death was most of her focus. As they waited outside the local shop, Scarlett adjusted her position on her horse. This place didn't seem welcoming at all and it made her nervous. Sensing her nerves, Henry rode to her side and placed his hand on her shoulder.

"You alright Scar?" Henry asked his longtime friend.

"I don't feel right here, there's something about this place that makes me want to get out as fast as we can." Scarlett sighed as she just wanted to leave.

Finally Sam came back outside, he didn't look too happy either. Walking up to the group, Sam scratched the back of his head as he gave the news in one long sentence to Scarlett.

"He is in Texas and apparently he used the money he stole to set up a pretty good life for him down there. We need a plan to get some money and blend in with his new crowd." Sam said in one long breath.

Rolling his eyes Jasper sighed and adjusted the reigns of his horse. Charles nodded in agreement with Sam though knowing we would need a convincing plan. Sam mounted his horse again and we rode off to a local home where both Charles and Sam knew the owners. Sam walked to the door and knocked and within the matter of a few moments a man answered the door.

"William, I hate to ask a favor of you and your new bride but we need a place to rest our heads and make a plan." Sam spoke kindly to the man.

William looked past Sam and looked at the rest of the group with a raised eye brow. He didn't have any idea who any of them were besides Sam and Charles. Making his way to Charles the two men began to whisper something between one another.

"Alright, you can stay but no trouble." William said as he walked back into the cabin.

Everyone agreed with what Will had to say and dismounted their horses. Scarlett was the last to dismount because not too far from the barn she could hear weird moaning noises. Deciding to go and investigate herself, Scarlett held her gun ready and gripped the handle of the door. Pulling the door open she aimed her gun as the figures and heard a loud shriek come from a woman.

"What's goin on?!" A man yelled at Scarlett.

Scarlett held her gun still as the woman collected her clothes and then took off. The man looked at Scarlett before he stood up in his full naked glory and she made sure to keep her eyes focused on his eyes. She could hear others coming their way, no doubt them thinking the scream was from Scarlett herself.

"Josh! Damn it!" William yelled at the man who just moved behind one of the stalls in the barn.

"William I was just having a good time, then this little red headed devil had to come in and ruin it." Josh said pointing to Scarlett.

"You weren't her husband because clearly you aren't wearing a wedding band and she was. Why don't you try to find a real woman to have fun with and not someone else's wife?" Scarlett stated blandly as she put her gun away.

Already she had seen more of the man than she wanted to and her eyes felt as though they needed to pray for forgiveness. Turning around she passed through the men as she walked into the house. Close behind her were Henry and Sam since Jasper had decided to find out the name of the woman he had just seen run off naked through the ranch. Once inside, Scarlett sat down as Henry and Sam sat down beside her. Charles came in shaking his head a few moments later.

"I think we need to make up a whole new identity for this. Scarlet can still keep her name but if she pretends to be married to a rich man then she could easily access wherever James was." Sam suggested and the others agreed with him.

"Someone who seems normal and would blend in well." Charles commented as he looked between Scarlett and Sam.

"They also need to have money though, some that they could even flaunt. You want to gain trust and then get your revenge from the inside, if that happens you are less suspicious." Sam reminded the group.

"Then which one of you would that be?" Scarlett questioned as she looked at the men.

"Well I am the one with the most money." Jasper commented as he walked inside though he had obviously heard the conversation.

"Also, the first one to the whore house, how would that look?" Scarlett asked sarcastically.

"It should be Sam or Henry." Charles said as he tried to work out whom would work better in his head.

"I can't...I couldn't be there to watch her take a life." Henry admitted sadly as he looked away from the group and out the window.

"Sam...then it's you." Charles said looking down at his friend. "Could you do that?"

Sam was surprised that he would be chosen but he nodded. All he had to do was act and since he had been married before he knew how to act and he would be able to teach Scarlett how to act like a married couple as well.

"The money part?" Jasper questions again growing to be a pain in Scarlett's head.

"We will need your help Jasper." Charles said looking at his brother.

"What do I get out of it?" Jasper asked crossing his arms over his chest clearly not wanting to go along with the plan.

Scarlett had had enough, she knew what Jasper wanted and now she was going to give it to him. This was something she wasn't going to just forget and to make sure of that she would do anything that she had to. Walking right up to Jasper she watched him carefully as he stared her down.

"You help me with this, the only thing I have wanted to do since my father was murdered before my eyes then you win. I will marry you. You get the wife you need and I get my revenge and help my family." Scarlett states confidently.

"Scarlett?" Charles questioned as he walked two steps their way only to have Jasper take Scarlett in his arms and pull her close to him.

"You got a deal darlin. Seal it with a kiss and what's mine is yours." Jasper grinned thinking that Scarlett wouldn't do anything like that.

Scarlett grabbed Jasper's head and gave him and long and hard kiss. One he feared she would never end but when she did he couldn't help but wink at her. Looking back to the group Scarlett could see the disappointment written across Henry's face. This is what she had to do though and she wasn't going back no matter what.

Sam and Charles stayed up that night to come up with a convincing background story. Scarlett tried her best to sleep but it seemed to escape her. Deciding to try and get some air she carefully made her way out the door and to the front porch. She thought that everyone was asleep except for Sam and Charles but when she saw another person swinging on the porch swing she had just proven herself wrong.

"Can't sleep?" Jasper asked as he looked her way.

"That's one way to put it, hard to sleep after making a deal with the devil." Scarlett scoffed as she leaned against the wall instead of going to the swing.

"Devil? Now I think I am far from that. Though I look at other women that doesn't mean I would jump into bed with them." Jasper said as he stood from the swing but he was met with a raised eye brow look from Scarlett who clearly did not believe him. "Scarlett, we each have our own motives that is true but sometimes it works out."

"You have looked at more women on this trip than there are in my entire town. How in the world am I supposed to make you happy?" Scarlett asked disgruntledly.

Jasper sighed and walked to Scarlett's side. It wasn't hard to see what her opinion of him was and it did hurt him. When they got married they would have to live together and be around each other constantly.

"You could feel the same thing I feel when I look at you." Jasper said as he reached her side.

"I didn't know blackmail was a feeling as well." Scarlett scoffed yet again.

"Not that, this." Jasper said as he took her head in his hands gently and looked deep into her eyes.

Before Scarlett had a chance to do anything, Jasper's lips were upon hers and for a moment the kiss reminded her of Charles but Jasper did something very different than Charles did. His hand held her neck secure making she that she wouldn't hurt it while his other hand went to her stomach as the kiss became deeper and deeper. Feeling strange feelings deep within her stomach Scarlett was surprised when Jasper spoke through their kiss.

"Do you feel that heat in your stomach right now?" Jasper questioned though his lips never left hers.

Scarlett knew the feeling he was talking about though she did not know the name for it and it made her nervous to answer him but she knew he would keep asking until he received an answer. Nodding into the kiss Scarlett wrapped her arms around his neck pulling their bodies closer together. She had never felt the feeling so strong and she wanted to feel more and learn more about it.

"That's called lust Scarlett." Jasper told her and at that moment Scarlett tried to pull away for in her mind lust was a bad thing, though Jasper prevented her from leaving him as he held her against the wall. "That's not a bad thing, that is your body's way of telling you and me that you like me kissing you."

Scarlett looked up at Jasper and could see the seriousness in his eyes not to mention the fact that she could also hear it in his voice. Jasper gently touched her cheek as he pulled away from the kiss also concerned that she might try to run away.

"Why is it so strong?" Scarlett questioned wanting to know what her body was feeling that way.

"I am going to say because you have never been with a man, it's something new and exciting to your body and it wants more of it." Jasper answers her question almost expertly in her opinion.

"Though you no doubt have been with several women." Scarlett commented with an eyes roll.

"None, I may look but I have never touched another woman for fear of disrespecting my future wife." Jasper told her truthfully.

Scarlett tilted her head, shocked by Jasper's sudden confession. She had thought he had been with plenty of women and just used them as his play things until another one came along. Still she wasn't sure she should completely trust him.

"We'd better get some shut eye, have to go buy you some pretty dresses tomorrow." Jasper said as he moved to turn away from her but the curiosity inside Scarlett had only grown.

This time she grabbed his head and kissed him right on the mouth, startling Jasper he lost his footing and both fell into the swing. Jasper managed to catch Scarlett and hold her close to him as their lips did not part. Just as Scarlett went to pull away Jasper surprised her as he turned their deep kiss into a French kiss earning a gasp from Scarlett. Pulling away she watched as Jasper grinned at her.

"I'll show you French kissing another time." Jasper chuckled.

"Yes, well I am going to bed now." Scarlett said as she scrambled from his embrace and went into the house.

"You just playing her?" Henry voice interrupted jasper's thoughts as he looked over at the man.

"I'd say at this moment we are both playing one another. Though I wouldn't guarantee it." Jasper said as he walked to the door.

"If you hurt her or cheat on her...I'll kill you." Henry warned Jasper and then went into the house as well.
