Scarlet's POV

I looked down at Violet's left leg and wondered how she was using it even though it was broken. Lightning flashed causing Violet to jump and squeal. The rain started again, but heavier.

"Maybe we should go back and try again tomorrow night." Violet sugested. I nod, putting my mask back on. We were standing up, when a strong gust of wind came. Violet lost her balance and slipped of the rooftop! "Scarlet!!" She screams.

I shoot out a web luckily it attached to her stomach. I pulled her up, she hugged me while shaking even more. I hugged her back. "Shh. Its ok. I've got you." I said softly as I tried to calm her down.

I kiss her nose. She giggles as she starts calming down. We were soaked and wet. The rain kept pouring down heavier. So, we walked back over to the overlaping rooftop.

"I miss my powers. If I had them right now we wouldn't have gotten soaked. I know how much you hate being wet." She said looking down. "Its fine." I say a little bit annoyed.

She noticed and started to whine. I wrapped my arms around her and rested my head on her shoulders. She wiped the hair away from her eyes. "I love you." She says quietly. I nuzzled her neck. "I love more and always will." I reply. She blushed and smiled.

"Why would Violet like someone soo....bland. Why not someone like me. I would treat her like a queen. Being me I would even buy her a castle if it meant she would be happy with her life.

I would do any thing to please, the love of my life. I would kill him if it means having her as my own. My queen...and this rain won't stop me. I leaped on the building they were on.

Violet's POV

I enjoyed Scarlet's warmth. I curled into a ball on his chest. Even though he had his mask on I could tell he was worried. He started combing through my hair.

I curled into a tighter ball to see what he would do. He craddled me with his legs and hugged me. I laughed quietly.

"Oi! Get away from my love!" I heard a voice say. I heard Scarlet growl deeply. I could tell he was really annoyed. He started standing up. "..Ben?" I asked.

Scarlet's POV

I was about to kill the person on the rooftop who was annoying me. Until I heard Violet's soft, calming voice. "..Ben?" She asked.

I looked down she looked worried and was still shaking. I calmed down and picked her up. I was getting ready to leap off the building. But I got hit in the side by something. I fell to my knees clutching my side, and dropping Violet.

"Ben." She said with a shaky voice. I was wondering why she was panicing so much. I looked down and saw blood.
