Violet's POV

I tried to stay awake until Scarlet came back. I didn't want to fall asleep unless he was there to comfort me...but, sleep overpowered me. I soon drifted of into a dream.

I saw Ben again. He was still strapped to the table, twitching.

The thing that was holding me let go. I fell to the ground crying.
Evan emerged from the shadows and walked towards me.

He smiled showing his fangs.

"Still the beautiful girl I remember." He said while touching the side of my face.

I smacked his hand away.

His eyes turned dark blue with anger.

He grabbed my neck and pulled me close to him.

"You need to leaning your place, Violet."
"Scarlet doesn't love you."

"He's using you and you just don't want to believe it."

I cried even harder.

"Leave him for me, princess."
"I know how unhappy you are with him."

"...never."

"Suite yourself, princess."
"I'll have my way one way...

or another."

He used my powers to stab Ben with a piece of metal.

His body flinched, then his hand slowly stopped to his side.

"NO!!! SCARLET!!"

I woke up crying. I looked around my room it was dark and Ben wasn't back yet. That made me paranoid.

I got out of bed and walked down the halls to clear my mind. There was no light but, I could see because of my night vision powers.

It was cold and got colder and colder as I went farther away from my room. I stopped at the window where Ben gave me my first kiss and sat down.

It was thhe coldest area in
S.H.E.I.L.D. But, it was soothing. I burried my face in my knees and listened to the air blow outside. I heard footsteps. I didn't look up to see you it was,but, whoever it was sat down beside me.

"Did you have another nightmare." Ben asked in a calming voice. I nodded with my face still burried in my knees. He hugged me.

Scarlet's POV

I feel sorry for Vi. She didn't necessarily have a happy life. I should have went to her room after I came back. I felt her shift while I was thinking. I looked down to see her staring up at me.

Her eyes were full of tears. I wiped them away with my thumbs and kissed her forehead. "I'm here for you, angel." I said while rocking her. She burried her face in my chest.

Her breathing slowed down and became gentle gust of air. I pulled her closer to me. "Thanks, Ben." She said in a quite voice. I helped her stand up.

She lost her balance and fell into my chest. I picked her up and carried her to my room. I layed her on the bed, then sat beside her, and rubbed her back. We both fell asleep after a while, hugging each other.
