Scarlet's POV

Well back to school again I guess. We were walking on the sidewalk I looked at Violet. She was figiting with her fingers. "You're scared to go back aren't you?" I ask. "You know I am." She replied back sternly.

"You'll be fine." "And if I'm not?" "We'll comfort you." "And if you can't?" I stared at her annoyed. She looks down scared. "I can't even use my own powers correctly anymore because their almost gone. What if I lose all of them? What would happen?"

All of us(Danny,Ava,Sam,Luke,Peter,Amadeus,Flash,and Ben)
look at each other, then at Violet. She looks like she's about to cry. Peter looks at me and mouths "comfort her."

I look at him like he's crazy and mouth "are you kidding she'll cry if me or any of us touch her!" We all stared at her. I sighed and started patting her on the back.

"That was the latest reaction to feeling sad I've ever had." She says looking at me with discust. All of us laughed as we walked inside the school. We all went our seperate ways.

Ben stayed beside me. "You'll be fine. I'll be near you most of the day." He says. I give him a tiny smile, he smiles back.

Scarlet's POV

"Hi Ben!" I turn around and see Pepper coming towards me. Violet starts to walk away but I grab her,she squeals. "You are not leaving me alone with
Ms. Flirtsalot. Alright?!" I tell her, Violet smirks.

"Soo Ben how was your Christmas break~" Pepper asks. "It was ok..I guess." I can hear Violet snickering. "Sorry to be rude but who are you?" She asks rudely refering to Violet.

"I'm.." she cuts Violet off. "I don't really care about who you are but, do me a favor and leave." Pepper says in polite tone. Violet just stands there looking at her then me. "She can leave whenever she wants to." I say.

Pepper looks at her with discust. "We'll talk later. Have a nice day Ben!" The bell rings and all the students start going to class. Me and Violet walk into the Science room. "You must be the transfers! My name is Mr. Ivan and who are you two are?"

"I'm Ben and the shy one is Violet." I say, some of the students laugh. "Well nice to meet you two, now please take a seat." I take one in the middle down and Violet takes a window seat. She looks really nervous.

Mr. Ivan had to go to the office real quick so he told us to get to know each other. I walked over to Violet she was drawing a picture of the classroom. "Are you ok?" I ask putting my hand on her back.

"My anxiety's kicking in I'm just trying to stay calm." She says quietly. I keep rubbing her back.
"Aww is little Violet scared?"
A boy says in a mocking tone. People start snickering. "Ignore them and keep drawing." I whisper to Violet, she looks back down.
