Violet's POV

I stayed by Ben's side the whole night even though I was still cold. His mask was off. It was 9:55pm and he still wasn't awake. He shifted then opened his eyes.

"Violet you're turning blue. Go warm up." He said worried and weakly."What! No! I waited this long to see you awake I'm not leaving." I said sternly. "Even though I'm still cold." I mumbled. He smirks.

I look out the window."What happened, exactly?" Ben asked. "You got shot in the side. By someone who was jealous of you, clearly." I respond. "Oh...Right. Did you two know each other?" He asked.

"No. He said that I knew him. But, I don't remember anyone named Blake." I said as I rubbed Ben's arm. "How do you feel?" "My side hurts but other than that...tired." He jokes. I let out a small laugh.

Pick Ben up looks at me in shock. "For a small and fragile girl you are really strong." He says. I smile as I carry him to his room and lay him on the bed. "I'm gonna go take a shower. I'll be back."

I finish taking a shower and ran back to Ben's room. He was putting on a grey shirt, while he did I saw the bloody bandage. I looked at down at the floor. 'Why does everyone who gets close to me get hurt?' I though.

My thoughts were interupted by Ben. "Violet, are you ok?" He asked. His voice was lower than it usually was. I looked up blushing. "Y..yeah p..perfectly
f..fine." I stuttered.

Ben laughs, I walk over and lay on the bed with him. He turns on the tv. "What do you wanna watch?" He asked. I smiled. "Maze Runner: Scorch Trials!" I say with a fist pump.

We watched the movie and fell asleep hugging each other.
