(Three years later)

Y/N's P.O.V

I slowly open my eyes and as my vision becomes clearer I see a red head of hair. I realise that Wanda and I were spooning in our sleep.

I sit up and see that Wanda is still asleep. I gently slip my arm out from under Wanda without waking her up. I look at my watch on the bedside next to our bed and see that it's 8:00 a.m.

I quietly get changed in to my workout clothes and leave our house and go on my daily jog.

(Two hours later)

After a two hour jog I make it back home. When I walk in I hear tip taping on the floor coming towards me, I then see mine and Wanda's two month old golden retriever Lucky coming at me.

(A/N: Just for those who want to know what the puppy looked like.)

He starts sniffing my leg and I bend down and stroke his soft fur.

Y/N: Hey there boy, how you doing?

He gives me a cute bark.

I pick him up and we walk into the kitchen. I look down at his food bowl and see that he's already eaten and ate all his food.

Y/N: Ah, so momma fed you and you ate it all. Good boy Lucky.

I put him down and walk into out bedroom but I don't see Wanda.

Y/N: Wanda? Babe? Where are you?

Wanda: I'm getting in the shower babe.

I hear her voice come from the bathroom conjoined with our room.

I then hear the shower turn on. This gives me an idea.

I quickly take off my clothes and walk into the bathroom, Wanda turns and see me standing there. When she sees me standing there naked she start smiling.

Wanda: You wanna join me?

I smile and nod.

She then grabs my hand and pulls me into the shower with her.

(Three hours later)

We're now laying in bed under the covers out of breathe after just having sex for the second time today, after having sex in the shower that is.

After catching our breathe for a minute Wanda rolls off me as she was on top and lays next to me.

She smiles and leans part of herself on top of me as she draws patterns on my chest.

Wanda: Wow.

Y/N: Yeah, wow. When we got out I didn't expect you to jump me like that, not that I'm complaining.

She giggles.

Wanda: Well that's good as I'd hate for you to think that sex with me was getting boring.

I smile.

Y/N: Never.

She then leans in and kisses me deeply. She pulls herself back on top of me, and runs her hand down my chest towards my member.

Wanda: Think you can go again?

Y/N: I really want to but I have to head to the compound today and help with their technical problems.

I then quickly look at the time on my phone to see the time.

Y/N: And I'm already running late.

Wanda pouts.

Y/N: Hey don't give me that look beautiful. I promise I'll make it up to you tonight okay?

She nods.

Wanda: Okay, I just hope it's gonna be worth it.

I wink at her and pull her in for a kiss.

Y/N: Don't worry it will.

She smile and gets off me.

I get up and get changed into my clothes.

Y/N: You know I still find it nice that I get to make plans that don't involve people shooting at me.

Wanda laughs.

Wanda: Tell me about it. I'm curious. How do you want to make it up to me then?

Y/N: How about this? After I'm finished at the compound I'll go to the store pick up some stuff and I'll make you a nice romantic dinner.

She smiles.

Wanda: That sounds amazing.

Y/N: Good.

I lean down and kiss her.

Y/N: I'll see ya later.

Wanda: Bye babe.

I then leave the house and get into my car. But before I go to the compound I head into Queens as there's something I need to get.

This thing being an engagement ring. I've been planning to propose to Wanda for about six weeks now. I've already asked Pietro for permission as I can't exactly ask her dad, and he gave his blessing so all I need is a ring.

After getting the ring I picked out I headed up to the compound.

(One hour later)

After an hour of driving I finally make it to the compound.

I go into the compound and greet my parents the I get to work on the electoral problem.

After about twenty minutes under the hologram table I feel someone kick my foot. I come out from under the table and see mum standing there smiling.

Y/N: Yes?

Natasha: Are you gonna make me wait your whole time here?

I tilt my head in confusion.

Natasha: I'm talking about the ring silly!

I smile as I should have known that mum would want to see it as she's been so excited about all of this since I told I wanted to propose to Wanda.

I stand up.

Y/N: Okay, okay. I'll show you.

I pull the ring out of my back pocket.

Her eyes widen and she smiles.

Natasha: Oh my god! It's beautiful, she's gonna love it.

Y/N: Yeah I hope so.

Bucky: Nice ring kiddo.

I look over and see dad.

Y/N: Thanks dad.

Dad comes over hugs me then kisses mum on the lips.

Natasha: I can't believe James. Our little boy is getting engaged!

Bucky: I know, It's crazy.

Y/N: Well not engaged yet as I haven't asked her yet.

Bucky: Speaking of which, now that you have the ring when are gonna ask her?

I think for a moment.

Y/N: Well, I'm planning on doing it tonight after dinner.

Natasha: After a romantic dinner. That sounds perfect.

I take the ring from mum and hug her. When I pull away I see mum has tears in her eyes.

Y/N: Mum, why are crying?

Natasha: Don't worry baby, it's just that it's still hard to believe that my baby boy is all grown up. It feels like just yesterday you were this cute little toddler running around the playground, and now you're a grown man living with a girl he's going to be engaged to.

I smile.

Y/N: It's okay mum. I'm still your baby boy.

She nods and wipes her tears.

Natasha: Okay, I'm good now.

Dad and I smile.

After another ten minutes I finish the job and I'm outside the compound with mum and dad.

Natasha: Okay sweetheart remember to call us and tell us how it went.

Y/N: Yeah I will mum I promise.

I hug them both.

Y/N: I'll see you both later.

They both say goodbye.

I then get into the car and drive to the store.

(Five hours later)

I've just finished making the food and I put it on the table with with candles on it.

After that I call Wanda in she and I then have an amazing dinner. We are now sitting on the couch with the fire place lit.

The whole time I'm secretly fiddling with the ring in my pocket as the longer I waited the more nervous I got.

Wanda: Babe, is there something wrong?

Y/N: What no, why?

Wanda: Well I've been feeling your anxiety for the past 10 minutes. So I'm just worried about you.

Y/N: Oh well uh... I do have something I need to ask you, and I'm kinda nervous about it so I'm hoping you'll be patient with me as I get though it.

She nods.

Y/N: Okay, well, we've been together for a long time now.

Wanda: Yeah, six years now.

Y/N: Yeah it's crazy. But what I'm trying to say is that from the moment I saw you I knew I was in love with you.

I stand up.

Y/N: And like the day when I first kissed you back in Sokovia I feel I've had to stop myself from doing this since the day I met you.

I get down on one knee and show her the ring.

Wanda covers her mouth in shock with tears in her eyes.

Y/N: Wanda Maximoff, will you marry me?

She then jumps on me and kisses me deeply. Wanda then pulls away smiling at me.

Wanda: I love you so much Y/N Romanoff-Barnes.

Y/N: I love you too Wanda Maximoff, so is that a yes?

Wanda: Of course it's a yes! Now shut up and kiss me!

I smile and kiss her. After a couple of seconds I pull away and put the ring on her finger.

Y/N: Even after a year it still feels weird to be called Romanoff-Barnes.

(A/N: Oh yeah in the prologue I forgot to mention that during the three year time jump you got your name legally changed to Romanoff-Barnes.)

We kiss for a few more minutes she pulls away from me.

(A/N: So this will be a bit heated.)

Wanda: You better take me to the bedroom right now mister.

I smile.

Y/N: Yes ma'am. I do owe you for this morning.

We both stand and she jumps up and wraps her legs around me.

We kiss the whole way to the bedroom.

When we get in there I put Wanda on the bed and I take off my shirt and she starts running her hands up and down my abs.

She then sits up slightly and starts kissing her way down my abs and then undoes my belt and pulls my jeans and boxer's down.

Wanda then takes off all her clothes quickly and then pulls me on to the bed with her.

We then get under the covers and continue kissing and rolling around in the bed and start giggling at the same time.

I start kissing her neck and down to her boobs. I then come back up and kiss her.

Wanda: You better stop teasing me right now, or I'm gonna flip you over and start doing the work.

Y/N: Yes my gorgeous fiancee.

I then push myself into Wanda and she starts moaning and wraps her legs around me

I continue to thrust into her and kiss her neck to add to her pleasure.

After that we have an amazing night. The best night of my life.
