2. Come back
Startled he woke up with a jerk.
"Not again" he sighed holding his hair in a tight grip feeling a terrible headache building up.
He's fed up with these dreams but no matter how matter they trouble him he would never call it a nightmare.
Why?
Simple, cause he can never insult her calling her appearance a nightmare.
It was the only source by which he could communicate to her now.
3 months
Only 3 months and it felt like he lost the reason to live.
The reason to wake up in the morning and come back home at night.
Three months back his life was like a beautiful fairytale but now it is nothing more than a horror story.
But
He's still holding on a thin string of hope
A hope of her coming back in his life.
A hope of getting everything right.
A hope of making those people pay for their sin that they committed towards his family, towards his people and towards her.
He looked at the wall clock indicating half past three. Knowing well that he won't get sleep anymore he decided to head towards gym.
Excercise has always been his relaxation after her.
Spending two hours in gym and covered with sweat he was finally done after the last push up.
He went straight to the bathroom. Not even the excercise could help in calming down his nerves may a cold shower could help.
Cold water droplets touching his warm skin washing off the sweat. He sighed punching the wall making his hand go all red with the powerful impact.
A few drops of blood oozed out of his knuckles.
He came out, water droplets gliding down his well built body. Travelling through the curves he had worked hard on.
A white towel hunged low on his waist.
A sight for sore eyes he is.
But no one is allowed to witness those lush wet hairs that can make any woman go weak on her knees.
Walking to his closet he dressed himself in a white crisp shirt, black pants and a black tux fitting him like an armour.
Wearing his watch he looked at the drawer beside the drawer holding watches
That drawer was filled with different cufflinks.
Cufflinks that looked expensive and exclusive.
But one glance at them and he turned his head in another direction. He couldn't wear them atleast not now.
Not bothering to look at the mirror he walked out of the room.
The wishpers of servants went silent as he walked through the corridor.
Descending the stairs he found his mother sitting on the sofa in the living room. Engrossed in a magazine. Beside her was his father reading the daily newspaper.
He walked straight to the dining table without acknowledging their presence.
He sat straight on his chair beside the head of the table. A few moments later his parents walked in.
Raghuveer rathore and Janki raghuveer rathore. The king and queen of the rathore empire now looked at their prince with longing in their eyes.
His usual playful long gone. His smile faded in these three months. It feels like eternity since they saw him happy.
Raghuveer rathore sat on the head of the table, beside him sat janki in front of Arjun.
Before asha the head house help could start serving the elder son and daughter-in-law of the rathore family entered the dining room.
Arjun looked ahead and his heart clenched in pain looking at his brother.
Once happy go lucky man was now sitting on a wheelchair. Devika trailed sushant's wheelchair reaching the dining table she helped him settle and start serving.
Janki served raghuveer while Arjun stopped asha from serving him.
He took some salad on the plate and started eating silently.
Dining table of Rathore's were never this silent. But last three months as is laughter was abandoned.
Standing up he left the mansion as soon as possible.
Everyone could just stare at him.
Without saying a word they sent a silent prayer for everything to get back normal as it was before.
It became a habit.

The car stopped in front of a skyscraper screaming luxury and wealth. The 70 storied building looked so lavish and described the power of the owner in a glace.
Arjun walked in the building with his assistant abhay trailing behind him.
Everyone greeting their boss, keeping their heads low. Even though it was not a rule, no one had the courage to look into the eyes of the lion. His aura was the darkest of the dark.
They walked towards the VIP elevator specifically for the boss and abhay instantly pressed the button for 65th floor.
They heard lift door opening with a ding sound and he exited the elevator.
Taking long strides Arjun entered his office cabin ignoring every greeting.
Abhay felt it difficult to keep up with his pace, he jogged behind him.
"Get me the file of Ahlawats" he ordered settling in his chair.
"Sir, I'll get that file to you in an hour" abhay tried to make it up for the team assigned to prepare the presentation of Ahlawats.
Ahlawats were one of their business associates. They had a good grip I'm construction and now they were trying to seal a deal with Rathores.
They hadn't worked together since three years. Since Arjun joined his family business.
"Wasn't it supposed to be here at my table before I arrive?" Arjun's sharp words rang in the silent cabin. Without even glancing up at his assistant he could say he was shivering.
Abhay was a very nice and kind person and very good at his work. That's why he is with Arjun for one year. Before that no one was able to handle workload Arjun handed to his PA. This is what Arjun liked about him. It's not just about work but it's about how he never failed in any of his assigned task.
"Sir, it.. it's that, it's re.. ready but they're just doing some... Some last minute corrections"
The only thing that Arjun disliked about his PA was he fumbles a lot while talking to him and is always trying to protect those good for nothing employees who doesn't complete their work on time.
But this never stopped Arjun from firing them.
Finally Arjun moved his eyes from his computer screen towards abhay. Scaring the poor man to his death.
"I am not paying them to just simply sit in my office and gossip about me. You get it? Give them a notice for a week and tell them to resign themselves"
"Yes sir" abhay left the cabin feeling bad for those employees who are going to loose their job.
It's not new to him. Arjun does this often.
There's a line of young potential people to work in Rathore group of industries, then why would he tolerate such behaviour. Not that he's not paying them much.

Arjun was sitting in his cabin looking out of the window. The setting sun once looked so beautiful and meaningful now it's doing nothing but just reminding him if someone he had not even forget.
He took out his phone from his pocket and unlocked it. The wallpaper made his lips curve upwards in an almost invisible painful smile.
Going through his contact his thumb lingered over a specific contact before he took a deep breath and pressed to call.
Keeping the phone beside his ear he braced himself to hear the same recorded message that 'the person you're trying to call is not answering, please try again later'
But to his surprise someone recived the call.
The other end was silent, but he could tell, her heart is beating so fast as if she has run a mile.
Taking a deep breath, calming his own heart in her presence he said "NITYA".
"Come back, please"
