twenty seven

Ahyoung smiled deviously as she walked towards her bedroom door with a small vile hidden deep within the pocket of the thigh length black hoodie she was wearing. The mini skirt beneath it was barely visible, and black, transparent tights covered her pale legs.

"I'm going out for a little while," she spoke over her shoulder to Rina who was laying on her bed.

"Where?"

"Just for a walk. Tell the dorm monitor that I've gone to get a drink."

"Whatever," the other female tsked, propping herself up on her elbows to watch her 'friend' leave. She had a bad feeling about something, yet couldn't pinpoint why. Ahyoung was a bad girl, and nobody knew that better than Rina.

What is she up to? She wondered.

As Ahyoung exited the vampire dorms, she looked left and right carefully before directing her course straight towards the human building. It was quite late, somewhere between ten and eleven o'clock. The crescent moon in the sky shone its small light over the eery campus, shrouding the darkness with a silver glow.

The young vampire grazed her tongue over the front of her fangs, hoping that tonight would go smoothly, and that her excuses and lies would be enough. The front doors of the dorm were unlocked, naturally, and so she slid inside and slowly shuffled towards the makeshift reception. The human dorm monitor was sound asleep, a single earphone embedded in their ear playing whatever tune the person was into. Ahyoung blessed her lucky stars for this gorgeous turn of events, swiftly bypassing the small desk and racing towards the staircase.

Her nose was picking up all sorts of scents, making heads and tails of what belonged to who. The teen quickly realised she was on the girls' floor, for the smell of perfumes and sweet shampoo wafted all through the halls. Then, power walking up the stairs again, she was pleased to find the nasty smell of a sweat, old clothes, and possibly grease trailing from behind wooden doors.

Boys, she grinned, now looking for Wooyoung's specific scent that she had learned from three attempts at getting near him. He always carried traces of San and Yeosang's body smells, as well as his own personal fragrance. It was easy, really, when she stumbled across the last room along a row of eight doors.

Ahyoung felt the small bottle in her pocket once more, swallowing once to contain her slight anxiety which was mostly mixed into her excitement. Three knocks echoed through to the other side of the door, and soon footsteps creaked closer and closer until the whole thing swung open.

"Uh..." Wooyoung furrowed his brows, shocked more than anything to find a woman on the boys' floor. And more to the point, a vampire. He nervously gripped the wooden frame, staring her dead in the eye without hesitation. "Hello?"

Strange boy, she thought, pressing it to the back of her mind as she forced a cute smile onto her face. "Hey, Wooyoung. You probably won't recognise me, since we've never spoken. I'm a friend of San's, and he sent me here."

Wooyoung paused, taking a moment to process what she meant. San told me he only has five people he trusts, them being his mixedbloods and Yeosang. Who's this? "I see," he murmured, tilting his head. "Why did he send you?"

"He's concerned about your health. There's a virus going around at the moment, though it hasn't reached our school yet, thankfully." Her acting was almost better than even she thought it would be. "I have a vaccine here that will fight it if it arrives."

"Yeah, that sounds like him," the human rolled his eyes, agreeing for the most part that San worried over the smallest things and acted as a wall against everything for him. What didn't make sense, was that he wasn't here in person. Why would he send a girl up to a male dorm floor, and a vampire at that? He was so much more cautious than this. "Why didn't he come himself?"

"He's exhausted, you know? That punishment took a lot out of him, as well as what Yunho pulled the other day. He's resting, so Yeosang gave this to me to give to you under San's orders."

The taller scratched the back of his neck nervously, seeing a few flaws to these random statements, though choosing to ignore them. He trusted San, so he believed this girl was being honest with him. "Okay. What's your name?"

"Ahyoung. I'm in San's class."

The other stepped inside and motioned for her to come in as well. The door clicked shut behind her, and the ravenette was somewhat surprised to find such a clean room belonging to a man. Any experience she had had with boys proved that they were nowhere near as hygienic as herself.

Wooyoung extended his hand while standing by the window, the moonlight flooding the room and resting over his figure like a translucent blanket. "Vaccine?"

Ahyoung pursed her lips, doing her level best to ignore his brave attitude when faced with her superior being. She wasn't here to start a fight, she was here to feed this slow acting poison to a boy who was taking San from her. He would digest this each night and hopefully drop dead sometime within a week or so.

He took the vile from her and popped the lid off, taking a tentative sniff of the yellow tinged liquid. It was sweet, which made it seem less likely to be dangerous. Here goes, he shrugged, downing it in one go and coughing roughly for a couple of seconds. It burned the back of his throat like alcohol.

"Here," he wiped his mouth the back of his hand while giving the glass container back. "All done?"

"All done!" She winked happily, taking it and skipping over to the window to jump out into a safer location. "I'll be back tomorrow, so expect me, okay?"

He gave her this sceptical look, feeling his stomach flip once in a strange way before reluctantly nodding. "Bye."

Ahyoung disappeared into the night, leaving him behind to think long and hard about his decision. I swear to god, this medicine better not disagree with me, he shook his head. Once again, he trusted San. He didn't want to at first, but the pureblood had proven himself a hundred times over, so it was difficult not to now.

I hope I'm not allergic...
