Ahyoung was a strong and feminine vampire. Both her parents were mixedbloods, so she was by birth. Her family were quite well respected, well endowed with powers, and friends of a pureblood clan.
Her main goal in life, was to have Choi San. She didn't care what people told her, or when they said 'he will marry a pureblood' or 'you're beneath him'. Those words fell onto deaf ears as her beautiful dark eyes only saw one man.
Her long black hair fell just under her waist, a slight curl to it making it shine under any light. She had sharp features, cat like eyes, full and rosy lips, high cheekbones. A gorgeous girl, no doubt.
"Ahyoung, stop undressing him with your eyes," one of her friends, Rina, muttered dryly. "Even if you do know him, he won't accept your feelings."
The older female scratched her fiercely sharp nails along the canteen table, leaving small white marks in their wake. Rina could see her apparent rage, and chose to remain quiet.
"I just don't understand," the vampire seethed, "He runs around with that boy, hasn't decided on a partner, and refuses to acknowledge anyone other than his four little friends and Kang Yeosang. Why?"
"He's special...."
"Yes, Rina, I can see that!" She snapped back harshly. "I've been around him since we were three. Yeosang has obviously always been there....but that human boy...."
"You speak so lightly of Yeosang. He's equally as powerful as San, perhaps more. That boy hides an awful lot from society," Rina murmured whilst sipping a bit of blood from her glass. The vampires were entitled to one glass of human life force a day, choosing to drink it whenever they felt the need.
Rina had black hair as well, naturally, though it was dead straight, ended at her shoulders, and she wore an elaborate dragonfly clip to hold one side back.
It was dinner time, the day after the previous night's commotion. The darkness of the outdoors bled in through the windows situated around the room. Only the dim lights upon the ceiling illuminated the space, since vampires preferred things dark if they could have it their way.
A familiar human walked into the dining hall, brown hair falling over his eyes and a pretty face slightly hidden by his jumper pulled up around his chin. Had Ahyoung not recognised it as the male Yeosang was fond of, she would've thought he was suspicious.
"How odd," Rina murmured her friend's thoughts, "He's usually with the purple haired one."
As the human shuffled quickly towards the table occupied by the school's only two purebloods, he leaned over them, saying something in hushed tones. The females really wanted to know what it was, since neither possessed hearing skills. Ahyoung had extreme sight while Rina possessed brilliant strength.
"They're so secretive," the older muttered softly, tapping her long index fingernail off the surface rhythmically. "I asked San about it once....but he just smiled and told me it was nothing. Truly, an infuriating conversation."
"Sick?" San hummed gently as he looked up at Seonghwa. The older male was covering most of his body and hiding his mouth since he was tending to an ill person.
"Mmm. Woo woke up this morning with a fever."
As the vampire moved to stand, Yeosang pulled his arm and forced him to remain seated. "He shall be fine. I wouldn't go working him up when he needs to rest."
"He has a point," Seonghwa agreed. "You tend to get him all energetic and argumentative. I just wanted to let you know so that you won't go looking for him later."
San sighed lightly, lips pursed into a small pout, though his dark eyes twinkled with amusement. "Thank you for telling me. If it gets worse, let me know and I'll fix it."
"He'd hate that even more," the brunette tried to chuckle, envisioning his shorter friend accepting a vampire's help. That would never happen willingly.
"Have you had dinner, Love?" Yeosang changed topic, "You seem pale."
"I had a breakfast bar at lunch...."
This time, the oldest pureblood's expression dropped to a serious one, unusual on his normally carefree face. "What have I told you about looking after yourself? Seriously, Love, other than looking after Wooyoung, do you even live for yourself?"
The older pouted beneath the fabric covering his mouth, pulling it down to show a light blush. "Is it so bad being selfless?"
"It's so human-"
"Calm yourself," San sighed, rubbing the older's shoulder warningly and waving Seonghwa over. "Have dinner first."
As the brunette eyed the vampire cautiously, he could tell that something was up. "Why is it that I sense you want something from me....? If not, you'd have sent me away to look after Woo already."
"So smart," Yeosang cooed, reaching up to play with the older's hair. San, however, sat back more intimidatingly and tilted his head.
"I want you to take something up to him."
"What would that be?"
"Sit."
Seonghwa reluctantly complied, though not before releasing a dramatic breath and rolling his eyes daringly. "I don't have time to eat-"
"I'm going to place a small bit of my blood in here," the pureblood stated, holding up a piece of bread. "It'll heal him in no time at all. You know Wooyoung, he won't accept it any other way."
"You want me to lie to him?"
Yeosang whistled lightly at the controversy, "Love, you aren't lying if there won't be anything said about it in the first place. Make a sandwich out of it, put it on a plate, and watch him eat it. Simple as."
San nodded in agreement, already piercing his wrist with his index fingernail. "Deal?"
"Guys-" Seonghwa felt at a loss for what to even say. "I'm...I'm not even sure why you'd expect me to agree to that. I wouldn't take blood if it was offered, so why should I force it on Wooyoung?"
"If you care for his wellbeing and safety, you'd comply. As well as that," the ravenette looked to Yeosang knowingly, "Maybe Sang will cut you some slack, hm?"
Ugh, this is why I hate vamps, the oldest thought defeatedly. Everything has to go their way....
