(This is a short story told by Foreteller. Since I haven't published anything since Chapter 6, I decided to create an explanation for the ending of that chapter. A small gift before the end of the year. If you want more of these, please say so)

The young mekur Guardian nodded. "That's what I've been assigned to do."

"And no magic, please."

"Of course not."

"Good. We don't want another accident like last time."

"Casey wasn't the first human that was thought to be the saviour. There was another. Another from the same ancient bloodline.
She deceived everyone. Even Rin. Even Rae - no, especially Rae. She used his power to her advantage and drove him to a state of merciless massacre and endless blood-thirst. He has magical gifts and properties far greater than one could ever imagine.
After the events, all memories of it were swiped from those who were witnesses. Only a few remember what happened, to make sure it never happens again...
