A Magic Lover
"OHHH~"
"Lower your voice, Maki."
"Tosa~ It. Is. So. Coooool!" Squealed a certain creamy pink girl with her face awestruck at a certain newspaper.
"Can't you see I am working here!?" Shouted the green-eyed man with twitching eyebrows.
"I'll be powerful, I'll be famous, I'll be a legend~" I said excitedly without taking any breathe.
"Yeah yeah... you can be a legend away from my work." Retorted the old man sarcastically as he typed on his laptop the document which he has been writing for hours.
"But Tosa!" How rude... he thought knitting his eyebrows. What type of daughter who would call her father by his first name?!
"Do you really believe in these occults?" Turning his chair, he looked at me sympathetically.
"But it says that it's real!" I said pointing out the newspaper with the headline:"The Ancient Necklace of Gimmicks Seen Falling Somewhere in Shuya!!!!"
Unexpectedly, the man's attention was grabbed as well as he took the newspaper from me. "I heard about that as well, but I doubt if it's true."
"Then no doubts about that!" I jumped from my chair pushing my fist in the air, "I'll have to find it then!"
Sighing hopelessly, he placed the newspaper aside. "How will you find something like that in such a large city?"
Brushing my chin, I sighed as well. "I'll just try."
"How do you guarantee that this thing even exists?" He asked mockingly.
"Because they are currently searching for it!" I turned my back heading to the door, "I bet a spirit visited the city~" I grinned widely before leaving and shutting the door behind me.
What a hopeless daughter I have.... thought the old man as he facepalmed turning back his chair and completing his work and plans.

"Well now, from where to start~" The young lady looked around cluelessly until a thought popped up on her mind: a lost spirit got tangled with Shuya's statue's sword, then gotten blown away as the necklace fell. "I bet she had some trouble with that statue.... I might find it there!" She exclaimed aloud before laughing maniacally at the middle of the street where everybody started at her with a grimace on their faces. Possibly, some thought she might be a psychopass who ran out of an asylum. Taking her steps, she started running towards Shuya's park.

Meanwhile....
The man who is named as Tosa sat by his desk where he searched for his idol's popularity, but to be surprised by a mass of posts. I bet she'd be going crazy if she were here.... then she's right... he thought admitting he was wrong about her internally.
Post: A necklace was spotted by Shuya's local hospital, yet no one was able to grab it physically. It was said that it held a strange aura, but no one was able to hold it physically. It was like an airlike object!

Back to the other side__
I ran with my top speed through the roads and streets. In an hour, I was able to reach the city centre, but only to run into a certain blonde: Fuya, with a thud and falling.
The boy immediately stood up bowing, "I am so sorry for not paying attention!"
It took a couple of seconds for me to realize the situation. I tittered waving him off with my hand.
Offering his hand for me to stand, he smiled, "I'm Fuya." I proudly accepted his hand, standing up.
"And I'm Maki." I paused looking at him for a while, noticing his school uniform was similar to my school's and that they had same height. "Nice to meet you. So we from same school?"
Upon percepting, he nodded. "I'm from class 2-D."
A look of surprise took over my face, "I'm 2-C, we're same age then?!" I blasted enthusiastically earning a chuckle from the boy.
"I guess so..." He said giggling in his thoughts, "But why were you in such a rush?" Although he just knew her, he was still so curious since no girl would be running like a madman just as what she was just doing.
"Oh my God! You don't know?!" I was dumbfounded by the boy's lack of knowledge. I wonder if he has heard about that.
"A lost cat?" And that was the response which has made me crack up with laughter.
"No, a necklace."
"Necklace? Is it so important to you?"
"Yeah, it's a matter of life or death if I didn't find it!" Well, it was actually was. I was absolutely sure that if I will find it, it will be changing me 24/7.
"Oh, is it from your boyfriend?" And this was the second response which made me chortle even louder. What the hell is wrong with that boy's chemistry?
"I don't even have a boyfriend." I replied plainly bringing forth a blush on the boy's face,".... I'd hope to have a kind one though..." she continued with a tone of despair. Yes, I have always wanted one, but I am in no range to find one. My father refuses saying that he has someone on his mind. Bt I cannot let him control me right? It was such a tough situation I am in; especially when I cannot enjoy having a love life just as how the other teen girls my age are.
"Oh... I'm sorry about that." The boy could do nothing but to smile nervously. He seemed to be unconscious about the world news around him.
"Don't worry." I Beamed at him reassuringly.
The boy sighed in relief, "But why is it important then?"
"Its an ancient necklace."
"Ancient?" The boy tilted his head in puzzlement.
"Yeah. It was all on the newspaper, haven't you heard about it?"
"No...." the boy smiled wryly, "I was busy with assignments..."
"Oh, I see." I responded as I turned away. Well, if he has nothing to do with it, I got to find that necklace.
"WAIT!" The boy called making me alerted turning my head back to him.
For some reason the boy was filled with incertitude. He wasn't the type who'd call someone that loud nor was he the type to be sticking to a person he just knew, but for some reasons, he wanted to linger..... out of all reasons, it was hiding one fact which is that he was lonely.
"What is it?" I asked bluntly.
"I'm free, we can search for it together if you'd like to."
"Oh?" I processed his request before replying, "that would be a great help if you do so!..... I'll search in the park, you search outside it." I guess I was wrong then. It was weird to have a boy offering you help when he got nothing to do with it. I wonder.
"Alright." Said the boy before leaving off.
The girl went to her way to the nearby statue, she could do nothing but to smile to herself. She knew how clueless the boy is, yet he was devoted to a stranger whom he just met. And this is whom I was searching for.... She thought to herself....
