" Are you all alright? " Bonnie yelled as she and Crobat waited just above the water.

Not to long after, they each came up to the surface, gasping for air.

" Ash, Serena, Gary, Paul! I'm glad you're all okay! " Bonnie sighed with relief before her attention was directed at the remaining of them. " And the rest of you...glad you know how to swim. " She finished in a not caring manor

" Thanks... " Misty hissed.

Everyone started swimming to the edge, exhausted, they laid spread out across the ground.

" So what was chasing us? "Bonnie asked as Crobat set her down on the ground.

Ash painfully sighed and sat up to face the blond. " My guess would be that they assist Karum. " He moved his hand over his shoulder, upon impact with the water both his injuries, the cut on his shoulder and hand, felt like the wounds reopened and stung like hell.

" Well it's clearing up now. " Gary stared at the sky as its colour lightened, making things much easier to see.

Ash searched through his bag, but wasn't exactly impressed to find everything completely soaked. " Damn it... " He muttered, all the bandages in his bag were too wet to fulfil their purpose anymore.

" How are you feeling Bonnie? " Serena sweetly asked as she kneeled down.

" I should be alright for now. " Bonnie cheered, pulling out a pokeball she released Dedenne.

" Good, cause i'm not gonna carry you anymore. " Paul rudely said as he walked past the two of them.

Seeing this as an opportunity, Gary chimed in " Oh why? Not strong enough? " He teased, standing directly in front of Paul, blocking him from going anywhere. " My strength is at the highest level. " Gary continued, flexing his arms.

" But obviously not your IQ. " Paul said as he walked right past Gary as he had no comeback to that.

Gary watched and gritted his teeth as Paul kept walking past him. " Ash, can't you do something about his attitude?! " He complained, spinning around on his feet to face the young champion. " I mean really, he's ought to be taught a lea- What the hell?! " Gary yelled, gaining everyone's attention. " A-ash, your left shoulder!

Ash slightly turned his arm so that he could look at what Gary was talking about and plainly said " Shit " Before trying to hide his entire arm behind his back.

" What is it? " May asked as everyone was moving closer.

" There's bl- " Gary began.

" It's nothing. " Ash quickly cut him off, defensively taking a step back.

" Come on. " Paul spoke up. " Whatever it is, it shouldn't be as bad as the condition Gary's pride is in. "

" Could you fucking not, Paul! " Gary shouted, annoyed.

" Show us. " Misty glared, her attention aimed at Ash and not the fighting duo.

" If there was anything bad, then believe me I would tell you, but there's nothing wrong. " Ash tried to reason with them.

With Ash focused on them all in front of him, Brock had snuck up behind him and grabbed his injured arm. " You call this nothing? " Brock showed them Ash's blood covered arm while Ash hissed at the stinging pain that shot through his arm.

" How the hell did you get that! " Serena shouted with worry.

" Relax it doesn't hurt that bad. " Ash tried to get her to calm down but Brock knew better and increased the pressure he had on the raven haired boy's arm, also increasing the pain..

" Yeah right. " Brock scoffed, as once again Ash winced at the pain.

Having enough of Brock's tight grip, Ash spun around on his foot and kneed him in the stomach, just as he usually does with Gary.

" Hurts, doesn't it. " Gary commented as Brock had wrapped his arms around his stomach in pain.

Dawn stepped forward, a bit pissed at what Ash did. " We're only trying to help! "

" Can't you just stand down and listen to us! " May yelled, standing by Dawn's side.

" We just want to do what's best for you! " Misty added.

" Back to that are we? " Ash slightly smirked with a glare attached as he held onto his injured arms wrist.

Brock, Misty, May, Dawn all had a guilty look on their face as they recalled past events. (Can anyone guess what event is being referred to?)

Silence fell over the group as only Ash and the 'Pain in the ass'' understood the comment Ash had made, the rest of them could only watch as the five of them had kept their mouths shut.

Ash walked off to Bonnie who was still sitting a bit away from the group, and asked her for some bandages that she had in her bag.

None of them really talked nor asked what had happened was about, they just waited for their clothes to dry before they continued on. Ash had asked Serena to wash his jackets as he wrapped his wounds and Gary and Paul continued their previous argument just at a lower volume.

After finding some berries nearby they all decided to call it a day and wait until the next to resume their journey.

Everyone slipped into their sleeping bags and one by one fell asleep, the blood red sky fading away as they closed their eyes.
