Week 2

Tw’s: death, sandstorm
Extra: Set in 3rd Life, where Scar’s red and Grian’s green.

Grian’s POV
The sun warmed up the sand dunes in the desert, and Grian started to feel a little uncomfortable sitting on them. But he didn’t want to my move, not when Scar was resting his head on his lap.

“Y’know, I really think our cactus wall is great,” Scar said out of the blue.

“Yeah, it makes so people doesn’t just run in,” Grian agreed. He adjusted his posture a little, making sure that Scar was comfortable.

“I know this isn’t going the way you anticipated, but I’m glad I ended up with you,” Scar said and snuggled deeper into Grian.

“You’re the best partner ever,” Grian declared with a peck on his cheek. “Besides, the server is still pretty calm. There’s a little tension, but it’s not war.”

“I wanna go and burn down Etho’s house now,” Scar whined. “I’m bored.”

This caused Grian to break into a fit of laughter. Scar’s a menace, and that was one of the many things he loved about him.

“Here you go,” Grian said as he handed Scar the flint and steel, knowing that he was actually serious with what he just said. “And for goodness sake, Scar, put your clothes back on.”

Scar chuckled as he stood up, brushed off some sand and put his clothes back on. He was just about to make his way towards Etho when the wind rapidly started to pick up. Grians of sand whirled around them and their sight quickly worsened.

Woah, this is the most sudden change of weather I’ve ever experienced, he thought, but then realisation hit. Sandstorms could be lethal and Grian was stuck in the middle of one. He knew that if he opened his mouth the sand could get into his body and cause serious damages. He had no idea where Scar, who was on his third life, was.

Worry overwhelmed him in a wave. The sandstorm was getting more intense, Grian’s vision being entirely clouded.

He was more worried for his boyfriend than for himself. No big deal he died, he was on green life. But if Scar died... Grian didn’t know if he would be able to bare the rest of the series without him.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed him. Assuming it was Scar, Grian let it pull him out to the sandstorm.

“Your time is up, better run,” an ominous voice that didn’t belong to Scar whispered in his ear. “For red winter is coming.”

<Grian was slain by Renthedog>

“And this is just the beginning of what’s to come.”

Let’s all pretend I didn’t finish this 10 days too late
