The next morning Diego woke up early, and felt the warmth of Shira. Diego licked her cheek Diego feel happy for having her on his side.

Diego started to wake up Shira.

Diego spoke, "Shira wake up. Shira."

Shira spoke without opening her eyes, "Not now Diego give me ten more minutes, if you love me give me ten more minutes, please."

Shira started snuggle more into Diego's fur.

Diego spoke, "Alright only ten more minutes."

Then Shira fell asleep again. Then started purring which Diego never heard her purr. Diego laid his head on top of hers. Then Diego also fell asleep.

After a while Diego woke up, and heard something in the woods. Diego got on protective mode. Diego will protect Shira from any danger.

Then saw a familiar figure in the woods, Diego didn't moved an inch he would just stare at the figure. Diego decided to wake up Shira.

Diego spoke, "Shira wake we got a problem."

When Shira heard that there is problem, she immediately got up and started looking around, but she didn't saw anything.

Shira spoke, "I don't see anything, Diego maybe it was a false alarm."

Diego looked again and saw nothing.

Diego spoke, "We should get something to eat."

Shira spoke, "Sure, I'm starving."

Then the new couple started walking looking for food. Diego felt that something is following them. Diego was hundred percent sure that somebody want harm them.

When they went to their hunting grounds. They saw a gazelle, they got into their position. Then suddenly they heard a distant roar. That scared the gazelle. Diego and Shira started chasing the gazelle.

Diego spoke, "Shira take the other way around. I will be chasing it."

Then Shira took another way around, she didn't know that someone was following her.

As Diego was close to catch the gazelle, Diego heard a girl scream. Diego immediately stopped the hunting. Diego heard the familiar sound. Then Diego realizes that scream was from Shira.

Diego started running as fast he could and yelled her name, "Shira! Where are you?!"

After a while of running, Diego saw footprints on the ground. Without hesitation Diego started following the tracks.

Then saw Jason on top Shira holding her to the ground. Diego was so angry and turned into a wild animal.

Diego yelled at Jason, "Let her go!"

Jason laughed and spoke, "What are you going to about, yell."

"Don't play with me!"

Diego was getting to position to fight.

Jason smirks and spoke, "If that so, I will hurt the most that you love."

Jason looked down at Shira with a grin on his face.

Diego spoke, "Don't you dare!"

"What are you going to do about it? Beg?"

Then Jason took out his claws ready to hurt Shira. As soon Jason was about to claw Shira, something came out and tackled Jason. It was Alex.

Shira immediately got up and started running towards Diego. Then they saw Alex and Jason were fighting. Jason had some bite marks, and Alex had claws marks on his face.

Then Diego joined in the fight. Alex was badly wounded and couldn't fight anymore. Alex started to get away from the fight.

Diego and Jason began to fight. They started to claw marks, and bite marks also.

Each time Jason gave a hit, Diego would give a harder hit.

Jason knew that he was defeated, he back off, and started laughing.

Jason spoke, "Don't know me do you, Diego?"

Diego spoke furiously, "What are you talking about?!"

"I'm Soto's son and he was in first in command, and you were in second."

Diego was surprised that Soto had a son.

Diego asked, "So what are you doing here?!"

Jason smiled and responded, "I'm here to take revenge of you for leaving his pack. When I found out that you had a eye for Shira, I decided take her that you cared the most, but you took it away from me."

Diego spoke, "If I was you is to leave and never come back again! If I see you again or hurt my herd, I will kill you!"

Then Jason felt so threatened without hesitation he left for his own good.

Shira spoke, "Diego are you okay?"

Diego responded, as he laid down on the ground, "I'm okay just need to clean my wounds."

Shira spoke, "Let me clean your wounds."

Shira started to clean Diego's wounds. After cleaning Diego's wounds. Diego began to look around for his friend, Alex.

Shira and Diego began to look Diego's friend. Then they saw Alex near to the river.

Diego asked Alex, "Are you okay buddy?"

Alex responded, "Yeah, I be will okay."

"Come with us you will have someone that care about you."

"Okay."

As the three went to the herd. The herd was surprised to see Diego again. They noticed that Shira and Diego are walking close together.

Sid asked, "Are you two dating?"

Diego responded, "Yes, Sid we are offically dating."

The herd congratulated both of them that they are dating, and Alex was accepted to the herd.
