I looked into the eyes of my best friend for a moment. More than a friend? I asked myself the same question I always do. His brown hair cut right next to his neck and looking perfect, as usual. But he backed away from me and turned to two of his friends, George and Nathan.

"George can you pass me a sharpie so I can colour this in and also a black fine liner?" He asked two of his best friends.

"Sure Harry," George chuckled and gave a sharpie to Nathan who then gave it to him. "There ya go."

Harry rolled his eyes. I looked over his shoulder to see the sharpie. It was not what he asked for. It was a pink sharpie with Moosecraft written all over it.

"Seriously you two." He rolled his eyes once more and turned to me. Quickly straightening up I looked at him.

"Do you have a sharpie?" He asked me. I gulped.

"N-no I think that E-Elan has one though." I stuttered nervously. I'd been in his classes 3 years in a row now and I still had a nervous stutter. I turn around to Elan who is in the
back row fiddling with a girl called Stacy's hair.

"Uhh, Elan." I whisper.

He immediately turns around, revealing his handsome face. His browny black hair slicked back onto the right side. He smiled greatly and then answered. "Yeah Louis what do ya want?" He smiled again. I smile grimly and answer with a slight twist in my stomach.

"Uhh, do you have a sharpie I can us- I mean Harry can use?" He's still smiling. Stacy next to him is just watching me, her blue eyes look deep through me. I smile at her.

"Elan I have one." Andrew next to Elan starts to join the conversation. I immediately look Andrew in the eye. Stop ruining this.

"Nah it's okay Andrew, I appreciate it though." Elan looks into Andrews brown eyes and smiles slightly. "Here." He leans over his books and gives me the black sharpie. I quickly take as I accidentally touch his hand. He looks weirdly at me. I just turn around and mouth 'oops' to myself.

"Here Harry." I pass the sharpie to Harry.

"Thanks." He mutters and my heart immediately runs wild.

He goes back to his work.

"-and then I will look at your work to make sure you've been doing it." I heard Mr Protoun saying as he came around. I stuck my head into some random piece of writing and then kept going with it. I could hear the still and quietness of the class as he came around. His footsteps stopped at the front of my desk. I felt myself brace for a consequence.

"Mr Tomlinson," I looked up. Oh fuck, here we go. "Did you do your English homework like I asked?"

"Ummm lemme think, no." I answer in a sassy way.

"Don't you smile boy, I'll have you to go to the principals office for that sassiness." He returns the answer I said. Shit. I don't want to go to the principals office.

"K." I answer stubbornly as I get up from my desk and walk out of the classroom.

"Wait!" I hear as I get outside the classroom. I keep walking slowly, enough for the person to catch up.

"What!" I call back, and two people emerge from the classroom, two people I didn't expect.

"We were sent to the principals as well." Meghan says, Elan right behind her blonde hair.

"Oh." I pipe up, surprised. Elan rolls his eyes annoyedly. "Why'd you get sent anyways?" I ask curiously my fingers quivering.

"Well apparently I was being to noisy in the classroom."

"And Lizzie was distracting me so I got in trouble."

I tried not to be stunned at what they both had said. "Well, we all know that Mr 'Crouton' is a whole load of bullshit." I say at just the right time as Mr Protoun shouts at the class for being to disruptive. My heart almost stops as I hear his footsteps as he emerges from the classroom.

"Quick, in here." I state to Elan and Meghan to have stopped in the middle of the corridor. They quickly nod and come around the corner to where I am.

"Those kids," I hear Mr Protoun muttering to himself. "That load of this, that load of that, those turds." He grumbles and walks back inside.

"Come on we'd better go now." Meghan points down the hallway towards the principals office at the end of the hallway.
