"Erin, try and stay calm, everything is going to be fine," Eli kisses her hand as they walk into the courthouse.

"I hope you're right Eli. I can't help but feel something horrible is about to happen. I, all of a sudden, have this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach and it isn't morning sickness, I'm finally over that," she tells him as he opens the door to the courtroom. He gently grabs her hand leading them both to the desk she's about to testify from.

"I need you to have faith and trust when I say I am going to make damn sure Tammy never has the chance to hurt your or our children, including Chris," he leans in and pecks her lips.

"Elijah, why do I also get the feeling you're up to something?"

"Erin, I need you to believe everything I have ever done, and everything I will continue to do is because of how much I love you. No, when I decided to come here with Chris I could never have imagined I would fall so completely in love with his mother, and I could never have imagined you and I would create this special little bundle of joy, but I am so completely in love with you and I am beyond thrilled we're having this gift growing inside of you."

"Eli, I have no idea what you're talking about. What did you do and what will you continue to do?" He leans forward gently placing his hands on her neck.

"You are truly one of the greatest loves of my life, Erin. I just hope and pray when you learn the complete truth, you'll find it in your heart to forgive me. I did it to stop her, then when I fell in love with you and I had no doubt who Tammy is, and what she had done, it made me even more determined to stop her."

"Okay Eli, you're really starting to worry me. What is it you have been keeping from me?"

"Something I couldn't risk anyone finding out, Erin. It's something about who I really am," he whispers. Erin leans back with a concerned look.

"Who the hell are you, Eli?"

"Someone who loves you more than anyone, and our baby, you two mean more to me than anyone else in this entire world. I will do anything to keep you both safe, and Chris. Sometimes, nothing is what it seems. My reasoning for doing what I had to do is to keep innocent people safe."

"Okay, Eli, you keep talking about what you had to do, how you did it to keep people safe, just please tell me, what the hell are you talking about?"

"Court will come to order," the bailiff orders. We all stand as we see judge Stanley making his way towards the bench. He looks over at Ross and Tammy and shakes his head in annoyance.

"You all may be seated. I swear if anyone is about to waste my time. I have read the papers and my first question is this...What the heck makes you two think you're entitled to any of Ms. Connors' finances?"

"Your honor, my clients, Ross and Tammy Connor have recently learned they are expecting a child together and the money that Erin Connor was able to keep was earned during her marriage to Ross Connor, so technically, he is entitled to at least half of the finances and even the house. They could agree to sell the house and also split that money,"  he informs the judge.

"Your honor, if I may?"

"You may, Mr. Walker."

"Let me assure Mr. and Mrs. Ross Connor they are in no way entitled to anything that now belongs to my client. It now belongs to Erin and Elijah Stetson. My clients were married yesterday and they are now in complete control of their finances, the property, and the house that was Erin's before she married Ross Connor."

"Oh god, Erin, you actually married your young boy toy? You're old enough to be his mother, you tramp."

"I'll have order in the court. Mr. Lowe, I highly suggest you explain to your client if he demonstrates another outburst like that in my courtroom, he will not like the consequences. You may continue Mr. Walker.

" As I was saying your honor, Erin and Elijah Stetson were married yesterday. And just for the legal record, Elijah Stetson is at the consenting legal age. As we all can clearly see, he isn't a child. Although it's still a question if Mr. Ross Connor was with an illegal under-aged child when he started his affair with his now-wife."

"How dare you even suggest my client would do such a thing."

"Order in the court. You two don't even go there. Although I do have to question that myself, Mr. Lowe. But, that is not why we're all here today. You may try and convince me why I should order Mrs. Stetson to pay your client another dime."

"Your honor, Mrs. Stetson isn't exactly poor, she knows very well that Ross Connor, her ex-husband contributed a lot to their finances. He may have even made more than she did with her little painting hobby."

"Let me stop you right there, Mr. Lowe. I have seen many of Mrs. Stetson's paintings and they are not just some little painting hobby of hers. She has real talent, and her success suggests how talented she is. Do not try and belittle her talent because it's making all of you look  petty."

"I apologize to Mrs. Stetson, your honor. The bottom line is Ross Connor worked just as hard and he earned his fair share of the finances that they both accumulated during their marriage."

"Mr. Walker do you have anything to say?"

"Yes, I certainly do your honor. What Mr.Connor and Mr. Lowe are failing to reveal is that my client, Erin Stetson formerly Mrs. Connor never once cheated, betrayed her now ex-husband in any way. What they're also failing to reveal to you, your honor is Mr. Connor's present wife is Erin's dead best friend's daughter. Ross made a clear choice to have an affair with the daughter of Erin's best friend and we can prove it."

"You're honor, my clients just informed me they strongly believe that Erin Stetson is responsible for Tammy Connor's mother's death, and they can prove it." 

"Okay, that's my cue. Your honor, not only am I Erin Joanna Stentson's husband, but I'm also special agent Elijah Spencer Stetson."

"Oh my lord have mercy, Elijah. You're an FBI agent?" 

"Yes, sweetheart, I'm an undercover special agent for the FBI." 

"Oh my god, how, what, how could you keep this from me, Eli?"

"As I said before, Erin, I did it to protect innocent people, that includes you."
