Chapter 1 | The Beginning of Unraveled Secrets
"My heart can't take this damage,
. . . And the way I feel, can't stand it"
"It's all your fucking fault! You killed her. Now I have no-one. And it's all your fault," He roared at me, anger burning through his eyes as he twisted it in my guts even more.
I could only cry out, not able to handle the pain any more. He grinned, a glist of evil swirling his dark eyes.
I tip-toed silently, descending down the dirty, wooden stairs.
He grabbed my exposed thighs, squeezing it to the point that his nails dugged in so deeply that blood slowly arose from my cold skin and onto the tip of his nails.
I lazily threw my backpack over my shoulder, my eye-bags being dark as usual from all the events that had occurred the past few years.
Only a few more months, Dash.
I shakily sighed, my eyes glancing around every now and again for any signs of him.
He retracted the blade, blood gushing out as my pupils starting rolling up. I felt something metallic oozing out of my mouth. His dirty fingers started striding down my blood-covered body, onto my breasts, over my cut area and down to my womanhood.
"You know... " He began, his fingers slightly above my red-laced underwear. "Now that she's gone... "
"... I could really use a new toy to play with."
I stepped on the floor, silently praying that I wouldn't make any noise as I walked towards the wooden door. My Nike branded shoes grazing on the floor from every weary step I take.
I tugged the hem of my blue jacket in anxiety, my magenta orbs looking straight at the front door.
You got this. No need to worry. The door's literally right there. Just 1 meter away.
Another step.
50 centimetres away
Another step.
My hand reached out towards the doorknob, taking another step in the process.
25 centimetres, the doorknob turning
Another ste-
Creak.
I halted immediately, slowly turning my head towards the stairs as my breathing became rapid.
Silence.
I let out a huge dry breath, portrating a small grin as I step out of the house and onto the porch, closing the door behind me, and soaking in the blazing sun, lush bright forest green tress and the light blue energetic sky to top off the scenery.
I live in this quiet neighbourhood where practically all the houses are mansions.
Wow blunt much?
The 'Hill-sideVilla' is where you find all the expensive modern houses. Where all the rich kids live. I just so happens to live there, and I'm not happy one bit.
Some houses still have their owners living there, like Flash, Laney and their brothers, while I live in a rented one. And let me tell you, the rent here is expensive as fuck.
"Yo, Dash!"
I snapped my gaze towards the culprit of the voice, but immediately walked towards them on the ivory footpath when I realised who they were. Flash let out a goofy grin, his cornflower eyes sparkling while Thunderlane just smirked at me.
Huh, their brothers probably left already.
I flashed my signature smirk, my stare looking over them both. Flash was wearing his usual attire, a simple white shirt with his regular logo plastered on it, followed by his night ocean-blue washed jeans and black jacket.
Thunderlane, however, was wearing his leather jacket that was "to fawn for" - Rarity's words not mine - and his ripped denim stonewashed jeans to top of his look followed by some not-branded black sneakers.
"Dash, baby, I thought I already told you I was taken. No need to check me out. You should know better." Thunder snickered, making a 'tsk' sound in the process. I rolled my eyes at him, punching him, hardly might I add, receiving a yelp from him.
"Ow, fuck. I forgot you had a good right hook." He rubbed his left shoulder, glaring at me. The corner of my lips slightly perking up. At least three out of the four Twisters are here.
Let me explain, Flash, Thunder, Fluttershy and I all met when we were young.
We met because we were in the same classroom in Kindergarten and because we had a group project together on making a drawing of our future houses if we all lived together.
I know, stupid, but that what Miss Honey Comb told us to do. Anyway, we weren't really friends that time, besides me being friends with Flutters of course. Only acquaintance and classmates.
But when they decided to stand up to our bully's and saved me from an incident from them, we decided to become friends.
Even made up this stupid-ass name for our group, which is called Twisters.
Up till this day, I still cringe at the name.
What the fuck were we thinking?
"Let's go. We wouldn't want to be late now do we?"
"Shut the fuck up Flash, the only reason why you want to be early is to eat Sunset's face up before class" I shot, causing him to blush into a crimson colour. Thunder crackled loudly and fist-pumped me. I could only chuckle at his face flushed face.
"Alright, alright, that's enough," I say after a while. "Besides we wouldn't want Flash to be late for his little make-out session now do we?" I said in a baby voice, mockingly. He grumbled under his breath.
"I still don't understand how we're friends."
•••••
"DASHIE!"
I let out an 'oof' as a pair of arms tackled me to the ground in the school's carpark. Yes, the carpark. We car-pooled in Flash's black Mercedes car this time. I blinked a couple of times, slowly adjusting my eyesight from the sun's light, only realising the pink bubbly blur on top of me was Pinkie Pie.
She gave me a goofy grin, tightening her grip on me harder. "Ah! Dashie I missed you so much! I can't believe this it's Senior Year already! I haven't talked to you, in like, ever!"
"Pinkie," I began as I pushed her off me to stand up, slightly hissing at the pain from now and last night "We literally saw each other two days ago at SugarCube Corner."
"So?" I just rolled my eyes at that. Typical Pinkie. I look off to see the rest of the gang coming towards us, which included Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy and Sunset Shimmer. I smiled at them.
"Heya Dash," A.J spoke. I was about to reply when Laney shoved me out of the way and kissed, sorry 'make-out', Rarity onto the brick wall beside the side entrance.
I forgot how horny Thunder gets.
"See? Thunder's always one who shoves this tongue down his girlfriend's throat, not me!"
"What?" Sunset questioned Flash. "Nothing. Just a joke from earlier." I say.
"Technically, it's not nothing if you give her a reason fo-"
"Twi," I cut her off, swinging the double-doors open to take in the school. Eh, nothing changed. Still the same blue, glazy floor along with the high swirl-designed roofs due to the second floor and the same disgusting green vegetable-colour lockers.
They should really start changing the colour. Atleast the locker room's lockers are blue.
Students around us all shot gleeful smiles when we walked in as we started walking towards my locker which was in front of Rarity's upstairs.
The guys separated from us to go catch up with their pals before class. And yes, all of us got our timetable since it was mailed to us.
"Hmm? Oh and also it was very rude to interrupt me-"
"Shut the fuck up, egghea-"
"Language!" We all turned to Rarity who shrieked, catching a few stares. She then realised what she had done and smiled sheepishly at them. Clearing her throat, she turned back at us, her eye-lids slightly narrowing over her royal blue irises and says "As I was saying, it is very unladylike to swear and interrupting someone is quite ru-"
I scoffed.
"Oh, as if you haven't sworn while getting banged by Thunderlane." Her cheeks were tinted pink as I smirked from my accomplishment.
"Sugarcube," A.J started, tilting her hat upwards. "Did ya really have to comm-"
Ringgg
Twilight suddenly gasp. "We're late!" She exclaimed as she grabbed all of us by the collar before I had the time to close my locker. I immediately ripped out of her grasp and say, "Relax, that's just the 10 minutes warning bell," She looked at me bewildered.
"Just 10 minutes? Just 10 minutes?! No! We are late and... " I zone out, knowing that this was probably going to turn into a lecture, and looked towards Fluttershy.
She's been awfully quiet today. Even for her. She didn't even say one word. She just keeps on looking down towards me.
I decided to ignore her deeply concentrated face and turned back to look at Pinkie who was now speaking - or more like shouting. "... So since we have Physics together, you're with me Rarity!"
"I'hm with Flutters in Wood Shop," Applejacks Southern voice thickens while saying so.
"I have Advance Calculus with Twilight," Sunset tilted her head at her. They all looked at me as I started feeling a bit uneasy. Why do I feel like a hundred eyes are staring into my soul?
That's because they know what you did. You killed her. Not him. Not the driver. And certainly not that pebble.
Shut up.
"Uhh, I'm alone in Literature."
They all smiled sadly at me, some nodding. Twilight then adjusted her glasses, "Well, we should probably get going now." We all parted ways, me walking alone in the Celestial hall with other students lingering near the classrooms door.
"Hey, Dash."
"Hi, Dash!"
"Sup, Dash."
"Morning, Dash."
Students greeted me as I passed by. Especially the guys in this school. I'm mostly admired for my looks and body as well as my position in the Soccer team, and a lot of guys like me for that.
The thing is they would never have a chance. I don't do dating. I think it's worthless. What the point on giving someone your everything if you're just going to lose all that in the end? There really isn't any point.
Besides, it's too sappy.
It's gross.
I don't mean to be one of those "I don't love" girls, but if you really think about it, love isn't permanent.
We're all going to die in the end anyways.
Why love someone when you're going to lose them?
I sighed as I walked into Literature. The class was as usual as last year and the years before that. A few jocks up at the back, girls whispering and gossiping about 'the hottest guy' and the nerds right at the front. It was all familiar, almost too familiar. There weren't many new faces here.
How boring
I sat on the fourth row from the fifth next to the window on the right, ignoring all the smiles shooting at me from everyone.
Ugh, I'm so fucking tired. I can't do this shit anymore.
I grabbed my airpods from my stained blue bag and stuffed it in my ears, taking my cheap iPhone 6 out through went through my playlists of songs.
(A/N - Sis iPhone 12 is about to come out this yr u still stuck with a 6?)
Once I found one, I rested my elbow on the wooden table and tilt my head on my left fist, looked through the window to watch the Junior Soccer Team play.
Oh my me, oh my God,
How'd this girl get so fly?
I do what you doin', boy
Doin' it like a tomboy-
My airpods were snatched off me as I immediately snapped my head to glare at them. My stare softens why I realised who it was and quickly took a side-glance at Miss Cheerilee, who I must have not realised she walked in, teaching us about the context of Human Rights and Parental Guardians as well as Ownership.
What a load of bull.
Wait, how did she call my name and marked me present if I wasn't paying attention?
"So? What's up?" A deep alluring voice entered my ears.
She's probably just so use to me not paying attention she doesn't even care.
No one cares about you, you ungrateful bastard.
"The ceiling," I answered back.
Soarin merely just rolled his eyes. Introducing, Soarin' Skies. One of my teammates on the team who so happens to be my co-captain. We both, along with Thunderlane, have a desire to be on the best team in Canterlot and one of the best team in the world. The Wonderbolts Soccer Team.
Of course, we'd have to have a scout from The Wonderbolt Academy of Excellence to accept us so we could start training there and soon become one of the originals.
Thunderlane might have a higher chance than us due to the fact that his brothers are part of the original team. But then again, Captian Spitfire did tell them that if Thunder does get accepted, they are not allowed to be biased in the election for the team just because he is their younger brother.
Same goes with me; since I've known them my whole life, the boys aren't allowed to be biased and pick me to be on the team without proving that I'm worthy.
"What's up with your fingers?" I looked down to find my knuckle filled with cuts and bruises.
Fuck, I thought they would recover by now?
I ignored his question and took a good look at him, realising he's wearing his navy blue shirt I bought him for his birthday, which clung onto him tightly, outlining his muscles, along with his stonewashed jeans and his leather black jacket to top of his hypnotic look. His perfectly chiselled jawline complimented his stunning smile. One of the reasons why he's so famous with the girls.
Wait... Perfectly? Stunning? Curse Rarity and her forcing me to watch those "couple-goal" movies.
He suddenly smirked, his emerald eyes glistening from the morning light peeking through the window.
"Is the Rainbow Dash checking me out? I mean, I know I'm hot but try making it less obvious."
I rolled my eyes, "Only in your dreams will I ever do that." I know for a fact that he doesn't have have a crush on me.
He's only flirty because he just wants to annoy the living daylights out of me, or just simply wanting to have fun. Same goes to Laney. But sometimes when Soar's comments are just too... er... ill-suited, I want to slap the living shit out of him. But I know, it's all in good fun.
"Oh I know, that why my dreams are always wild when it's about you."
"Soarin!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh my God, finally Chappie 1 is done! How do you think of Soarin's introduction? Or the gangs? I only decided to do the boys because we all know how the main 7 act like.
Obviously, there are some confusing bits here you may not understand, like 'how r flash and thunderlane brothers?' Or 'Y was Shy acting that way?'
Well, that your problem to find out :)
Miss Honey Combs (the character) belongs to me as well as Black Shard Iris (dad).
Toodles!
