i noticed chan and riri stopped dancing and chan ran away, muttering a quick 'wait' to riri and leaving her alone. before chan could ran away, jisung asked him if he is gonna do 'it' that made riri and i confused.

i even asked jisung what's chan about to do but he only told me to watch.

damn, this kid.

chan came back with a wide smile, holding roses in his hand. riri looked so shocked when chan started speaking his feelings out.

oh my, so this is it?

"see?" jisung nudged my softly on my side but i ignored him. i watched how chan gave the three roses to riri while saying "i love you" simultaneously.

i'm so happy for riri. i am happy because of the fact that her feelings is reciprocated.

chan asked riri to be his girlfriend and the crowd keeps chanting 'yes', of course, by the lead of han jisung.

riri looked so overwhelmed, but happy. she looked around with tears of joy in her eyes, her gaze stopping at hyunjin's direction.

hyunjin was hurting.

hyunjin muttered something, a 'yes' i guess. riri nodded and finally said 'yes', making me jump and cheer for her.

"yas!" i suddenly hugged the person beside me, out of excitement and happiness. i quickly pulled away after and watched how chan and riri hugged, leaving jisung who was beside me in shock.

"w-what.." he blinked, looking at me but i just smiled. chan and riri pulled away from their hug, walking off the dance floor with smiles.

"nice hyung!" jisung and chan highfived while riri walked up to me. i greeted her silently with a smile and she smiled back.

"look for hyunjin and ask if he's okay." riri whispered and i nodded, silently walking away from the venue.

even if riri didn't told me to, i'll still look for hyunjin and ask if he is okay. after all, he is my best friend.

"yuki, wait!" a hand stopped me from walking, i turned around to see jisung.

"what is it?" i asked, my eyes wandering off if there's any sign of hyunjin but there's none.

"where are you going? the party hasn't ended yet." jisung uttered, i turned my attention to him.

"i'm going to check on hyunjin." i informed, a frown came on his face as he whimpered.

"but the party hasn't ended yet, and you're my date! can't hyunjin wait till later?" he persisted, whining.

"you can always find another partner, jisung. someone who wears a dress that matches your suit, i'm sure many girls would want to dance and be your date out there." i chuckled but he whined more, saying that he doesn't want any other girl to be his date.

"listen here," i gripped both of his shoulders softly with my hands.

"do me a favor and watch riri and chan for me, okay? chan's ex is there and she mignt ruin the night and i don't want that. so, be my eye for today and look after them okay?" i muttered, he looked at me with his eyes holding sadness in them.

"okay.." he gloomily says, his lips turning downwards.

"it's okay, in the next valentine's party, i'll be your partner again and will dance with you with a proper dress." i smiled and he nodded, his mood springing back to life.

"i'll go now, okay?" i waved at him and he nodded, waving at me while i ran away to search for hyunjin.

i just wish that i won't end up hurting like hyunjin.
